I started getting monthly facials about six months before my wedding. Each month I do dermaplaning, red light therapy, and a chemical peel, and my skin has never looked better. The consistency of the monthly facials truly made a noticeable difference. I was never complimented on my skin until I started going here. I'm really bummed over my most recent experience, as I feel they are using unethical tactics to bring in past clients. I had a membership and lost my job. I didn't update my card on file and kinda just let it go. Then I received a message that I had voucher I could use for an appointment. I still haven't found a new job, so thought this would be nice to treat myself and cheer me up. The service overall was nice. I think the music could have been louder in the room, as I could hear people chatting in the halls. When I went to check out, I was told I didn't have a voucher and had to pay for the service. I told them I only came in bc they reached out to me to use a voucher I had on file. The woman was less than helpful. I believe in karma, so I paid and left. But I'm not happy and I'm definitely no longer recommending anyone to come here. read more

Booked Facial Lounge Costa Mesa BECAUSE they advertise "non-toxic/clean/organic." My wife has very sensitive skin and we live a non-toxic lifestyle and to ensure this - my wife even brought her own products. She told the front desk, and they reassured her their products are vetted and they take "non-toxic" seriously, so she trusted them. During the facial, they applied a product that was visibly blue. After the service, the technician recommended the same product...so my wife asked to see the ingredients. Only then did we learn the product contains synthetic TOXIC dye/blue coloring and other ingredients that don't align with "organic/non-toxic" marketing that is ALL over their blogs and website - after it had already been smeared all over her face. Skin is the largest organ in the body, and with her sensitivity this is not a small issue. This was also for my wife's birthday, and instead of feeling cared for, she left feeling misled and completely violated. Our trust is broken. She brought her own products to use but they ensured that they could be trusted...... I emailed management and never received a response...3 weeks later, still nothing. read more

Ok so the facial themselves are good and they've done good things for me skin. All the girls I have had were nice but whenever I get checked out, some of the girls will b whispering about some of the other clients they checked out. It seems like they're always judging and whispering about clients after they pay and leave. I'm referring to anytime they check someone out before me. I think it's extremely rude and unprofessional. Some of these girls need to understand nobody likes judgmental people esp in a vulnerable situation where you're literally getting your skin worked on. I've noticed this on multiple occasions. My facial was very relaxing and wonderful. There are add-ons that I opted for and overall have a very pleasant experience. The extraction part of the facial was painless. The interior is super cute and vibrant. However there was some construction going on inside in another area/room during part of my facial that was loud and disrupted my peaceful vibe. UPDATE: Mercedes called and rectified the issue. I was really impressed with their ability to do customer service. Would recommend this spot overall. I genuinely think the service here is great--the facials are top-notch, and I really love that everything they use is organic and vegan. That said, my experience with the management has been disappointing. When I first signed up for a renewable membership, the details weren't clearly explained to me, especially around cancellation. The first time I was charged for a renewal, I didn't even realize what had happened. The second time, I made it clear that I no longer wanted to continue the membership, but management refused to issue a refund. Instead, they offered me a skincare cream from their store. While I appreciated the gesture, I don't think it was the appropriate resolution. What also felt frustrating was that once I canceled, I had to pay the price difference between the membership rate and the regular facial cost--which was about a $50 difference. Had I known all of this upfront, I probably wouldn't have signed up for the membership and would've just come in as needed. Again, the facials themselves are great, and the staff providing the service is wonderful. But because of how the management handled the situation, I don't think I'll be returning to this particular location. read more

I've been going here for a few years, and i always enjoy my treatments. I'm taking off a star though, because I find the gratuity giving experience confusing and frustrating. Most of us are members, and do not pay full price for our treatments, sometimes by quite a bit. But when we go to check out, we're prompted to pay up to 25% of the full price. She really knows her stuff! And her line of vegan, organic products is the bees knees.
