Updating my review 7 years later! I don't do lash extensions anymore, but luckily Brittany is phenomenal at doing brows!! I am extremely picky at who does my brows, and Brittany is one of the only one's I trust! She offers brow laminating services and is extremely knowledgeable! She talks you through the process of the lamination and customizes your brow shape to your preference/what suits your face the best. I always feel like a new woman with my brows always lookin' snatched when I walk out of there!! I also brought my boyfriend for a brow clean up/wax. He was a bit hesitant at first, but Brittany told him exactly what she was going to do for him. His brows were clean and didn't look too shaped (which is what guys are afraid of). As promised, here is the update. My lashes lasted 4 weeks before I got a refill! And even then, they were still quite full and I could have gone longer! So rest assured, Brittany's lash retention is the best! Unfortunately, I made the mistake of getting a refill at a different salon, and had a terrible reaction. Swelling, burning, itching, etc. Even though it was not her work, Brittany got me in for an emergency lash removal. She was so gentle and informative, and really gave her ALL to find a solution to allow me to continue wearing lash extensions in the future, after my eyes calm down. I will be forever grateful to Brittany. She TRULY and deeply cares for her clients, and it is very apparent in the way she treats you. But Brittany assured me that her technique avoids that weighed down look. True to her words, she worked with me to customize a look that was super natural and feathery. We even went for a subtle cat eye effect to elongate and brighten my small asian eyes. I don't wear eye make up anymore, which saves a lot of time in my morning routine. I have been going to Brittany for a year now, and let me tell you, she does not disappoint. From my first ever lash appointment, to now, her service has not changed. She is very welcoming, makes you comfortable, and definitely talks you through her process of what your lashes will look like. I didn't really know what I wanted my first time, I just knew I wanted it to look full, but I did not know there were different lengths/ curls/ etc.. and at the end of my 2hr appointment, my lashes exceeded my expectations. I kid you not, every time I get them done, soooo many people compliment my lashes, and even ask me where I get them done. People always tell me that they have seen other girl's lashes and they do not look as good as mine. (And I have to agree, I have seen other people's work and it is not as clean.) I had been going to Brittany for almost an entire year for my lashes and I absolutely loved her. Her work was SO clean; my lashes always looked so good and I never experienced any clumped lashes or any of them sticking out in the wrong direction. She's efficient and precise, but takes her time with you. She's honest about what length/curl/thickness is best for you. Her workspace is super cute and clean, and overall she's just a really nice, genuine person. I always vented to her and kept her updated with my life and I felt like I was getting a free therapy session with each lash refill LOL. I used to get compliments on my lashes all the time, to the point where I just started carrying her business cards around with me LOL. Even when my lashes were three weeks old, I'd still receive compliments from people thinking I'd JUST gotten a refill. The ONLY reason I stopped was because I developed an allergy to them. Nothing had changed, not the glue or the lashes she used. It literally just happened out of the blue and apparently it's rare (lol just my luck -_-). But even then, she never tried to pressure me into proceeding with them and actually advised me to take a break in order for my eyes to recover. I think that's important because it shows that she cares more about her clients and their health than she does about money. Anyways, to this day, almost a year since I had to discontinue the lashes, I'm STILL recommending Brittany to anyone who asks me about lash extensions.
