I've never gotten a reaction from any kind of mani/pedi before and I get this service done frequently at another place. I have developed contact dermatitis after my visit to V's Nail Spa. It's been almost 2 months since & the skin around my nails is still healing. I'm hoping if I give it enough time to heal it won't be a permanent reaction now I hadn't been here in a while and decided to give it another shot for a gel mani/pedi-- Pedicure: I could feel the pedicurist filing my skin while filing before coincidently trying to gaslight me by saying I had walked in with a bleeding blister on top of my toe as the reason why I would now not stop bleeding. The paint on my right pinky toe completely fell off by the time I made it home--either that, or she completely skipped painting my pinky all together. Manicure: manicurist cured my nails for 30 seconds in between coats and did 4 coats. She waited for the pedicure to be done to use the same gel bottle for my manicure. read more

The manicure was good, my pedicure the technician seem to not have a lot of experience and reached out for help a couple times, what is okay, everyone has to learn and the result was fine. Service is okay, some clients get offered beverages, others not. What surprises me is that in the middle of getting the service the technicians fully stop and ask you to pay with tip before finalizing the service. I've never seen this in other establishments and gives a weird vibe. I've see other costumers also feeling uncomfortable and one had to walk to an ATM to take money half way into removing an ingrown. I just wonder why they do that, are people walking out without pay or they get better tips before service is finish? It does not feel right and makes me not want to go back even though the service is fine and location convenient. read more

I was in Irvine for a 2-day work trip and made an appointment at V's on a whim to get a deluxe mani/pedi. The entire experience was delightful. They were so kind and helpful, the establishment is very clean, they took their time and did a beautiful job and never pressured me to get gel instead (which most places do these days). First and last time here Was here on Thursday after my facial. paid for the $45 package pedicure . the moment she pulled out a driller without soaking my feet first ,I knew It's not gonna go well. I'been doing pedicure for the past 20 years. I can say I know the protocol pretty well She started to cut my nails, which is fine and then she use a driller to clean cuticles without any cuticle softer ?????? Omg it was painful I told her .. and she pretend she doesn't know what's going on. When she starts to clean my bottom feet again (all the other places I've been to they would put the cuticle softer for at least 2 to 3 minutes first ) this lady pulled out a bigger driller !!!! I had to stop her lol I have never experienced this horrible unprofessional, rush service before. I guess she was trying to save time to help the next Customer or something. That's not resolution, that's control. 2. Chipped by 7th day not "after a week." I showed you timestamped photos. Your "one-week policy" is useless if the product taps out a few days later. Call it what it is: a $62 seven-day manicure. 3. Your 4-6 week claim? Your words, not mine. This set didn't even survive 2 weeks! Durability that short is on your technique, not my calendar. 4. No special treatment happened. I picked my own color and I was the only client in the salon which was telling and still got rushed so drop the "we bent over backwards" narrative. 5. I refused a redo because I refuse to be fooled twice. If the first application fell apart why would I trust the redo especially after the guilt trip about "your time is money"? Newsflash: so is mine. Bottom line: blaming customers for your product's early death is not a "policy" it's deflection. I asked for accountability, not charity. It was my second time going to this nail shop yesterday. The first time great, I can tell both technicians working on my hands and feet were well experienced so that motivated me to return. The salon is very clean and pretty. I was also offered something to drink including Vietnamese coffee which is a plus. Customer service was great so I appreciate that yet the technician working on my hands chose to remove the gel polish using the electric filler which only THINS the nails...I don't if she did that to get it done quicker but when she was done, although my nails looked pretty, they felt much thinner so I had a feeling one would break very soon which ofcourse one did today. My nails are naturally strong and thick as they were when I arrived until being filed down more than needed. The lady working on my feet was very nice but could use more knowledge with technique as she did not properly cut my cuticles, it was an ok job yet I appreciated the customer service until I went over to pay and she appeared disappointed with how much I was tipping ($12 each ) as if she was only working off of tips..that last moment including my nail breaking just ruined the whole experience. Had a nail emergency (broken thumb nail before photo shoot) and V's saved the day! I did a walk-in on Monday soon after opening. The salon is huge and clean. The male worker who greeted me was not friendly. He was more interested in looking at his phone than serving customers. However, the nail techs were warm and inviting. I forget the names of the nail techs who did my nails (I believe Kim did my pedicure). They were meticulous and detailed. My manicurist used dip powder to mend my broken nail ($2) and it looked good as new. In total, my gel manicure + regular deluxe pedicure (the cheapest option) was $90! A good deal for such great service. I was in and out of there in a little over 1 hour. I would return when I'm in Irvine. read more

Really kind staff, but unfortunately the quality of my gel manicure experience was terrible. The gel application is already lifting a lot within 5 days, and the application was unevenly applied. The top coat also wasn't done thick enough so you can see the streaks and "holes" where it didn't get applied. The gel product also got cured onto my skin (not pictured as I had filed the product off), which is dangerous as this can trigger an allergy. My nail technician also filed my nail bed way too much - there was a point where the technician filed so close into the sidewall that I jerked and had to ask her to stop. Overall I didn't feel like my technician was very experienced, as she wasn't very thorough with the nail prep and gel application. read more

This is definitely a nail infection. I am going to have to take off all of the nails now which is really frustrating. I would suggest they teach their nail techs how to properly apply acrylics. This was caused by her not applying the acrylic properly which caused the nail to lift immediately, which trapped moisture under the nail and caused the infection. This infection also caused my allergies to flare up. Complete waste of time and money, I am extremely disappointed and I would not recommend anyone to come here. read more
