Did my nails for coachella with tammy, absolutely loved them. She put in a lot of effort and time, i was really impressed. I usually get my pedicure with Tina, she's the best. So sweet, thoughtful and always makes me feel welcomed. Her work is top notch!
Tammy is the real deal! I've been going to her for years, and she's seriously the only nail tech I trust. I always come to her with some wild, out-there nail art ideas, and she *always* brings them to life. Like, I'm talking intricate designs, crazy colors, you name it. She's a total artist. If you have a vision for your nails, Tammy is your girl.
First and last time here Was here on Thursday after my facial. paid for the $45 package pedicure . the moment she pulled out a driller without soaking my feet first ,I knew It's not gonna go well. I'been doing pedicure for the past 20 years. I can say I know the protocol pretty well She started to cut my nails, which is fine and then she use a driller to clean cuticles without any cuticle softer ?????? Omg it was painful I told her .. and she pretend she doesn't know what's going on. When she starts to clean my bottom feet again (all the other places I've been to they would put the cuticle softer for at least 2 to 3 minutes first ) this lady pulled out a bigger driller !!!! I had to stop her lol I have never experienced this horrible unprofessional, rush service before. I guess she was trying to save time to help the next Customer or something. I forgot to get her name but she's probably in her mid 60s ponytail white hair. Please avoid her.
UPDATE The response below is full of revisionist spin so let's clear a few things up with straight facts. 1. Forced "fix," not courtesy. it was imposed without asking. I wasn't consulted. I was told. That's not resolution, that's control. 2. Chipped by 7th day not "after a week." I showed you timestamped photos. Your "one-week policy" is useless if the product taps out a few days later. Call it what it is: a $62 seven-day manicure. 3. Your 4-6 week claim? Your words, not mine. This set didn't even survive 2 weeks! Durability that short is on your technique, not my calendar. 4. No special treatment happened. I picked my own color and I was the only client in the salon which was telling and still got rushed so drop the "we bent over backwards" narrative. 5. I refused a redo because I refuse to be fooled twice. If the first application fell apart why would I trust the redo especially after the guilt trip about "your time is money"? Newsflash: so is mine. Bottom line: blaming customers for your product's early death is not a "policy" it's deflection. I asked for accountability, not charity. Own the workmanship or take builder gel off the menu.
Had a nail emergency (broken thumb nail before photo shoot) and V's saved the day! I did a walk-in on Monday soon after opening. The salon is huge and clean. The male worker who greeted me was not friendly. He was more interested in looking at his phone than serving customers. However, the nail techs were warm and inviting. I forget the names of the nail techs who did my nails (I believe Kim did my pedicure). They were meticulous and detailed. My manicurist used dip powder to mend my broken nail ($2) and it looked good as new. In total, my gel manicure + regular deluxe pedicure (the cheapest option) was $90! A good deal for such great service. I was in and out of there in a little over 1 hour. I would return when I'm in Irvine.
It was my second time going to this nail shop yesterday. The first time great, I can tell both technicians working on my hands and feet were well experienced so that motivated me to return. The salon is very clean and pretty. I was also offered something to drink including Vietnamese coffee which is a plus. Customer service was great so I appreciate that yet the technician working on my hands chose to remove the gel polish using the electric filler which only THINS the nails...I don't if she did that to get it done quicker but when she was done, although my nails looked pretty, they felt much thinner so I had a feeling one would break very soon which ofcourse one did today. My nails are naturally strong and thick as they were when I arrived until being filed down more than needed. The lady working on my feet was very nice but could use more knowledge with technique as she did not properly cut my cuticles, it was an ok job yet I appreciated the customer service until I went over to pay and she appeared disappointed with how much I was tipping ($12 each ) as if she was only working off of tips..that last moment including my nail breaking just ruined the whole experience. I'm a stay at home mom and going out to get my nails done means more now than it did before .....
The service was very friendly. My husband did the deluxe pedicure and he said they did a great job. I did a pedicure and a gel x nails. The pedicure was wonderful. The manicure could have used my detail around the edges. The overall experience was great.
Location is clean and I was helped quick but that's about it. They were not friendly. I went after Pilates class and was in my gym clothes sans make up and I guess I don't look like their usual clientele. They supposedly have free drinks but I was never offered anything. Lastly, they only used 2 layers of gel manicure instead of 3 and now my manicure is already chipping off. Not coming back.
5 Stars - The Only Nail Spa I Trust! I've been going to V Nail Spa for over 3 years, and I can confidently say that Van is truly exceptional at what she does. She has an incredible eye for detail and styles my nails so delicately and beautifully every time. They always turn out looking thin, natural, and perfectly identical--never bulky or overdone. Van has the best knowledge when it comes to colors and design. She always helps me choose the perfect shade and brings any pattern or idea I have to life with no problem at all. She's not only talented and creative, but also patient, friendly, and respectful, which makes every visit a relaxing experience. Her mom Tracy does my pedicures, and she is just as wonderful--super sweet, gentle, clean, and thorough. She takes her time and always makes sure everything is perfect, without ever rushing. The atmosphere at V Nail is calm, quiet, and clean--a true escape from the loud, chaotic vibe of other nail salons. I can actually relax here and enjoy every moment. I've recommended Van to several of my friends, and now they're all loyal clients who love her just as much as I do. Thank you, Van, for always being perfect--you are a gem!
This salon is amazing! I see Alex every two weeks. He does a very thorough job and listens to exactly what I want each time. He is also very responsive to my texts and gets me scheduled quickly and easily. Salon is very clean and professional.

For the pricing that this salon offers, I expected a bit more with their services and efforts. Although the salon was kept very clean and had enough staff, it doesn't do justice for me to become a regular here. I paid $35.00 for a regular pedicure with callous remover and pretty much had my feet rubbed less than 5 minutes all together. They used a dry towel to wipe down my feet instead of a warm steamy one. I didn't consider this a standard pedicure. It was a bit underwhelming. With tip it was 40 bucks all together which is almost what I pay for a dip manicure. read more

I love going to Alex here! He is always on time and can fit me in his schedule with ease! It took me years to find someone who i can confidently and consistently go to for my nails! His sister also does an amazing job whenever he is out of town. Overall love this place so much!! read more

This is definitely a nail infection. I am going to have to take off all of the nails now which is really frustrating. I would suggest they teach their nail techs how to properly apply acrylics. This was caused by her not applying the acrylic properly which caused the nail to lift immediately, which trapped moisture under the nail and caused the infection. This infection also caused my allergies to flare up. Complete waste of time and money, I am extremely disappointed and I would not recommend anyone to come here. read more

*this review is strictly for gel x* I know how to do gel x at home it just takes me a while so I went here because they had good reviews. See the pictures for yourself: nails dont fit wall to wall, didn't clean my cuticles (which is an important step in making them last longer) and just messy all around. Male nail tech seemed like he did not want to be there and was more interested in the people walking outside nor does he know the proper steps for gel x. He also oiled my cuticles and made me wash my hands after?? At every nail salon I go to they make you wash your hands prior to them putting the color. What is the point of the oil (which he put way too much & was dripping all over) if you're just going to make me wash it off? Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere for gel x! read more

If you want sloppy nails and an infection, this is your spot ! I came here for gel x and a pedi. I asked for an almond shape red v tip with a nude color for the base and white toenails. I wanted acrylic only on my big toe and pinky toe, and the lady doing my pedicure kept saying loudly how small my nails were and wasn't understanding what I wanted and I kept having to repeat myself. She cut my big toe crooked, and had to add acrylic and refile them bc she kept filing it at an angle. It wasn't until the third time redoing that the manager ended up coming and fixing it and a different lady coming to finish the job. She did the rest of the job okay but after 4 days, I had really bad callus again. For my gel x nails, the lady cut my ring finger and she noticed because I slightly pulled my hand away and she said sorry. But after cutting my finger, she kept hitting that same spot with her tools she was using, irritating it more and I kept telling her my finger hurt. Shr put so much glue for the gel x nails, the glue was spilling out from the sides and underneath my nails. She then couldn't give me a normal nude color for my base, and I told her to help me find a nude like I showed in the photo but said "this is all we have" making me pick a color, but each color I picked looked different than what was on the sample nail. She kept complaining each time I chose a different color and said "we went through 6 different colors" so I said fine, just do a pink and white French tip. The pink for the base was honestly ugly and I didn't like it at all, but because she made me feel uncomfortable, I chose to stay quiet. The white on the v tip was so sloppy, some nails had a thick white line and some had a thin white line. After paying $165 and leaving the salon, I felt super unhappy and ROBBED. I felt like I could've done the nails I got at home myself. I ended up calling the salon and the manager gave me a refund for my nails, but the refund I got doesn't match the prices they charge. Whatever, I left it alone. It is now past 3 weeks and my finger is STILL RED and it was severely INFECTED. I tried to treat it myself with warm salt water and antibiotic cream, and it's not going away ! I now have to go to the doctors to get it treated. read more

I have been going here for 3 years now and have always been happy with my services! I will typically go to Kim for my pedicure - she is the sweetest, does a great job and always takes care of me. I will go to Tammy for my manicures - she does an amazing job with such attention to detail. I have never been unhappy with any of their work. Also the price is reasonable. I recommend this place to everyone! read more

I have been going here for years and I can't say enough good things about this nail salon! Alex did these nails for me (they're 2 1/2 weeks old in the photo) for a F1 race and they were absolutely perfect. He stayed after closing just to finish these for me. The staff is always so lovely and the salon itself has a very calming atmosphere. read more

I want to recommend Kathy for pedicures she works magic. My large toenail broke off in half and the same thing was happening to the other . I thought I was going to lose them but Kathy worked with me over time to get them back to being healthy and perfect - she also gives a terrific massage. Our appointment was at 6:15 and they didn't start my nails until 6:40 and my friend at 6:55pm My technician was very sloppy. Terrible shape even after I observed them and asked her to fix the shape. Super uneven Nd off center. Then there was a bunch of dust on the surface and I had to ask her to file it and redo them so it wouldn't look bumpy. Super disappointed and grossed out read more

Not all nail salons are equal. Van runs this salon with a "customer first" approach. I've been to awful nail salons, that left nails short, damaged and in need of desperate help. I came to van when I was about to stop going to nail salons all together out of frustration. Van introduced me to gel builder, it helps your nail grow and stay strong. My nails always broke because I box and am rough at gym. I wouldn't trust my nails with anyone else, she has great taste and creativity, I tell her an idea and she makes it happen! The last photo is my last visit yesterday and this is the growth after 3 times with van. The nails last longer so you don't have to go in as often which is why most places don't offer this! I knew that I was due for a pedicure and I found this place on yelp since it was close by to where I live. I came on a Wednesday and it was not busy at all. Diane was my technician and she was very nice and took care of my ingrown nails that I had. I got the basic pedicure which was $25 and it included exfoliation which is just what I needed for the day. The overall place is spacious and there are a lot of technicians to help you out. I definitely found my new salon to go to! read more

Just like finding a hair colorist/stylist, it's difficult to find someone you trust to do your nails! But look no further...come see Phoebe. I'm never disappointed. And when I find pictures of different manicures, I text them to Phoebe and she does it for me! I went in yesterday to get a full set and a gel pedicure and I can honestly say the service was AMAZING! I showed Alex exactly what I wanted with my nails and he matched it perfectly Tracy did my toes and she did an awesome job I will definitely be coming back! Super clean and relaxing vibes one of the cleanest shops I've been to!
