Mesa Nails is a private studio, so appointments are quiet, relaxing, and genuinely feel like self-care instead of surviving a nail salon. They also don't do acrylics, so there are none of the overwhelming chemical smells. Asem is incredibly meticulous. Her shaping is perfect every single time, the cuticle work is probably the best I've ever had, and she pays attention to all the tiny details that most places rush through. No thick gel, uneven shaping, lumpy polish, or sloppy chop-shop work here. She removes only the dead cuticle carefully without damaging healthy skin, so I never leave with swollen, over-cut fingers pretending it's "normal." Everything is also exceptionally sanitary. All of the tools are sterilized, sealed, and opened in front of you, which I really appreciate. They also have a huge color selection, whether you're into classic neutrals or something more fun. Every photo I've attached is on my natural nails--no tips, forms, or extensions--which says a lot about the quality of her work. I've never had issues with lifting, chipping, or premature wear. They grow out beautifully and still look polished weeks later. It's one of those rare places where every appointment is consistently excellent. I almost regret sharing this because getting an appointment might become harder... but if you appreciate clean, natural-looking nails and someone who's genuinely detail-oriented, Mesa Nails is absolutely worth it.

I was charged for removal, which I wasn't the greatest fan of. I asked Tammy for a classic nude, white ombré with a bit of glitter on top, and she delivered! I've had many nail techs say how ombré nails look better on longer nails, but Tammy made things work with the nail length I was comfortable with! I was a bit skeptical of the longevity since it wasn't the hard gel I'm used to, but this set legit lasted me over FOUR WEEKS (with the exception of one nail that had gel-ex on because of some previous nail damage)!
