I've been getting acrylics on and off for almost a decade now and have become super picky about where I go. I found Jojo through Yelp - thank goodness - and have been going to her for the past few months. She is a perfectionist and always nails my acrylic set - pun intended. She's super talented with nail art but can slay a nude set just as well. The shapes are always flawless and she uses high quality products. I really wanted to like Jolene, I really do. People on Yelp gave her 4 stars. When I called she claims she uses "Japanese" products thats high quality that will last longer but that's NOT what I witnessed. I came in to get a fill on "hard gel" nails. The cost was $65, while other places charge around $35. Hard gel is similar to acyclic, the procedure is the same. File the nail, put on anti-fungal, shaping the nails and paint. Jolene, filed my nails, Did Not put the anti-fungal on my nails. Apply Gelish gel base (NOT a Japanese Brand), sculpture my nails with IBD gel (NOT a Japanese Brand). However the top coat "Vetro" was the only thing she used that was a Japanese brand. Vetro as a top coat only helps keeps the shine and from discoloration. After an hour, My nails are Uneven, Sharp and Ruff around the edges. Update: In responses to Jolene's comment. IF I did come in with a botch job as you claimed (Which I didn't. The sides of my nails was filed in due to what's called "Fan Nails", shouldn't my nails be better looking when you were done with my nails? You had all the tools and experience to fix it. No? Yet, I left with uneven nails all around with sharp edges. Which I had to re-file once I got home. Look at the picture for yourself... again. Proof is in the picture. I asked you to shorten the length and that what I got. That's your doing. I called twice over the phone and both times you stated the reason why you charge so much is because, you use Japanese Brand products, "that's why it last longer and doesn't lift". And now you say you can use ALL Japanese brand but will have to charge accordingly!?!?! So..... $65 for one coat of nail polish?? Let's say I did come back, I won't but let's pretend I did, what's my total? $195? One layer each of base coat, color and top coat = 3x65=$195 lol Yeah.No.Thanks. I'll stick to the cheaper places that charges $35. For that price I can get a fill and a fresh color every week. read more

I have been going to Jolene for a little over a year now and I'm always super happy with my service. I was so excited for her to hear that she opened her own shop!
