I hate moving. Who actually doesn't. And it's expensive in Boston so one of my friend passed me a flyer from this moving company. And I have to tell the truth price just bought me. I call them to double check the pricing and if they available on weekends and the agent was very helpful. He explained me different options and based on the info that I provide me gave me a quote. So they charge $70 per hour and I chose 2 movers and 16 feet truck to move one bedroom apartment. They told me it would take like around 5 hours that include time that movers spend getting to your place and time that they spend do deliver your furniture to new address. I really enjoy choosing this company as the guys show up in time. They were quick and careful with my stuff. I had some last minute packing and they help me with that as well. I was really afraid that we will have hard time of getting out and in my huge couch as I had very bad experience previously. But they got a trick and where able to move my couch true window. I would never have thought that it could be done that way. As a result my furniture was delivered safe, no damage and it took them only 4 hours to do that . Which is great as I know if you pay movers per hour for some reason they moving furniture pretty slow but this guys were amazing, made my moving experience so much better. read more

InstaTrans Movers - Movers Near Me - Boston, Massachusetts

I cant say enough good things about these guys , They showed up right and time and ready to work , The price was great and the service was better . Professional,Careful and efficient . It would be a mistake not to use these guys for your next move . read more

Nazar and crew did a great job on my move from Providence to D.C. Nazar gave me a quick, fair, flat rate quote on the phone. He and his guys showed up ontime on move-out day, and worked hard and fast to load the truck. Instatrans was able to store my belongings for a week in Boston while I looked for a place in D.C. Then, when I found something, we were able to schedule a delivery within a day or two. This was really above and beyond. Moving-in went well too; stuff had been stored safely and arrived clean and intact. Would definitely recommend for a reliable, efficient, and reasonably priced interstate move. read more

Insta Trans was 15 minutes early for me. They were thorough and clear with the rates. They offered packaging at no cost. It took 3 hours total to wrap my furniture, move down 2 level, to the truck, travel 40 miles and unload up to 3 levels. And no scratches. I will vouch for Insta Trans. Pricing is very beyond superior. Excellent Customer Service. read more

Nazar and Sammy did a wonderful job helping me move right after blizzard Juno. I have never seen such efficient and fast movers. InstaTrans communicated great during the day of the move giving me a call about an hour before the scheduled window letting me know when they expected to be there. They arrived right on time and worked fast and hard.... even with all of the snow on the ground. They finished quicker than their estimated time moving everything without harm. I highly recommend using InstaTrans for your next move. read more

a) I found these guys on Craiglist, b) I was moving the weekend of September 1st in Boston, and c) I've heard such moving horror stories. Needless to say, I was nervous that something terrible would happen. But then I read some Yelp reviews and felt a bit better. Thankfully, the reviews were accurate. These guys WERE punctual and efficient. They moved an entire studio out of a storage unit and into a 1BR apartment across town in about 2 hours. I was really happy with their professionalism and their hard work. I would definitely recommend to others! read more

Dependable, Hard-Working, Trustworthy. InstaTrans movers went the extra mile for us. They extracted HUGE amounts from two trailer-front units in Waltham storage. They worked ceaselessly and were extremely grateful for pizza/sandwich lunch. Though there was some miscommunication about the destination town, THEY owned the error and absorbed the costs. My family is truly grateful for Nazar and his team. We have referred several others to entrust their possessions to their expert hands. read more

I hired them after seeing how efficient they were moving my friends to another state. They came on time, and were quick and efficient. They even helped my roommate move her stuff in after mine (prearranged but still nice of them). All of my items made it to my new home as is! I would definitely hire them for my next move. Also I'd recommend getting a moving permit for the street you're moving from/ to regardless of who you hire for movers (speaking to other reviews)- that's the individual's (who is moving) responsibility, not the movers. read more

I was moving from Washington D.C. to Boston. Guys came on time, wrapped and packed everything in a timely manner. Delivery was as promised within 24 hours. Most affordable service I have ever had. Will definitely use Instatrans movers in the future. read more

We just used instatrans for a move from seaport to south end. They did a solid job at a reasonable price. They were on time, did not break anything and were quick. We were happy with their services and plan to use them for our next job. Nice work guys! read more

I had a great experience with InstaTrans last week. They unloaded my 16' POD container into my 3rd floor apartment - including a sectional sofa, king sized bed, and several heavy dressers/bookcases. It took about 3 hours, but the rate was so reasonable it still cost less than the other places I was quoted. They sent 2 guys who were really friendly and barely took breaks. I'd recommend them to anyone! read more

Great experience! Less expensive than the competition, showed up on time, no nonsense, did the job fast. Movers can be scammy and shady, these guys were great! Thanks Nazar. read more

First the good: I gave 3 stars because the CREW is good and very helpful. Now the BADDD: My appointment was between 12-2, so I have called @ 12 to confirm there whereabouts, and they said, they will call me soon, by 2 Pm i have called a couple times but no clear time on when they are coming! At 2:15 the dispatch manager said they are going to be late and might be here between 3-4 PM, and said there are 3 people in the truck so you have an option to sign up for 3 people per hour instead of 2 people per hour otherwise it might get even more delayed because they have to go and drop the third person, at this point i was clueless and said OK given my situation. Finally i kept calling every 30 min, and @ 4 they are still working at the second/third job, an appointment can be late by 30 min or 1 hour not by 4-5 hours. The dispatch manager kept saying they will be here soon, and i asked where are they currently, and turns out they are working on a move in weymouth which is 1 hour away from my location, I mean who plans a day like this. Finally my move started @ 5;35 PM and i wanted to wrap this up as fast as possible and left behind lot of stuff because of timing constraint, it was getting dark, its raining and nothing is working out, if they would have given me a clear time frame the first or second time I have called i could have atleast finished some others works like cleaning and moving smaller stuff, but my whole day is ruined as they kept promising smaller intervals and i was just a sitting duck, I also removed my internet connections and everything hoping they will be here soon enough. Overall a really bad experience. read more

Big NO NO!!!!! when I first hire them for my moving I truly believed all the good reviews on yelp. but the result was awful!!! there are many reasons why 1. Show up 25min late without call/didn't bring contract paperwork either 2. Very slow!! Slackers!! I think they are trying to take time on propose. and even I caught them to on the phone many many times & personal chatting. 3. Bad attitude. specially the leader guy gave me bad attitude a couple of times and trying to avoid not bring big furniture or any tricky spot he needs to move to. without even trying 4. They damaged my furniture & machines. I caught them literally drop them on the floor & scratched. but they didn't admit what they just did. OMG! 5. Over charged. at the end they finally moved all stuffs and charge 3.5 more hrs than what they quote before. I wouldn't mind if they worked hard but they were totally killing time on propose. The Bottom line is ..... I would not recommend to anyone!!! Please stay away from this guys. read more

Excellent experience! Constantin, Mark and Dymitri helped me move last week just before the hellish September 1 hustle, and they were AWESOME! To start, I called InstaTrans less than a week prior to my requested move date, and they had an availability (amazing). I had another question a few days later, and they were happy to oblige any and all information they could. Plus, they called to confirm the day before, which was great. On the day of, as their second job, I was told they would arrive between 12 and 3. They called at noon when they were 30 minutes away, and again when they were on my street right at 12:30. They evaluated everything to move with smiles on their faces, and handled everything with respect and ease. From my second-story apartment we had to move everything off of the first-floor roof (due to narrow twisting stairs), and then to a third-floor walk up in the North End (during the summer tourist season no less). I even had a set of large couches that I was going to drop off at a friend's house in between, and they were totally fine with it. Their positive attitudes and quick work style really made the day smooth and effortless for me. To boot, when my former landlord started yelling at them (not because of anything they did, but because she's crazy, no wonder I left), they handled it very courteously and didn't let it get in the way of doing their job professionally. On top of everything, their prices were super competitive, and worth every penny. Can't thank these guys enough, and would definitely use InstaTrans again in the future! read more

Arrived on time, took care with my items, efficient and extremely hard workers (took no breaks over 5 hours). Moved from Brookline to Charlestown. They did take duffle bags and packed dressers in spite of what the contract says, but caveat emptor as the contract is specific about not taking personal items in bags or dressers w filled drawers. They brought their own moving blankets and used them on all my furniture, for free. No hidden fees. They were upfront about the 3% additional fee for using credit cards but they take checks as well. The rate was unbeatable and ultimately why I chose them. In spite of being so inexpensive, having no hidden fees and including moving blankets for free, they did an excellent job. I would absolutely recommend them for your move. read more

When I needed to move a few items to my daughter's apartment I found these folks. The Yelp reviews gave me enough confidence to engage them. For our little move (15 miles) they couldn't have been better. They showed up on time, took care in packing and moving the items. Pleasant to work with. Fair pricing for the value received. Very happy with their help. read more

Worked again for a third (or 4th now..) time with these guys. Facilitating the work was a breeze and the post move communication was great. However during the actual move, the two movers assigned to the work were under no rush. For a city move with time constraints, these guys took their sweet time and was even evident to the building employees at both locations. My pleas to speed up the work went nowhere. read more

These guys are great! I called them only 2 weeks before the busiest moving day of the year Sept. 1st and they were able to fit me in. They sent me a quote and set up the appointment within one day and were quick to respond back to any questions I had. I had a tricky situation where me and my roommate and I were coming from two different apartments and merging into one. We also both had to be out of our apartments on Aug 31st but could not move into our new place until Sept 1st. InstaTrans went to both apartments on Aug 31st, held our things over night and then moved us in on Sept 1st. They were very fast and efficient. They handled everything with care, I even hear one guy yell "Fragile" to the other many times when loading the tuck. The took the time to wrap our TVs and other large furniture so it would not get damaged during the move. They were very friendly and personable, I felt my things would be safe with them. We moved into a 3rd floor apartment and they did not complain once and kept on going up and down the stairs without hesitation. They even installed my air conditioner and put my kitchen table together! They charge based on hours, they had me sign when they started and ended so I knew the correct amount of time they took. At the end they went over every charge with me and made sure I understood them. They made my life so much easier during a very stressful time and I would definitely hire them again! The only reason I did not give 5 stars was due to a little conflict with their office. They have you pay a $100 deposit prior to your move. It was sent to me in an email on 8/22 and said due by 8/31. I paid the deposit on 8/29 (after waiting to get my paycheck) and shortly after was told my scheduled move in time was changed from 3-6pm to 5-9pm. My scheduled time has already been changed once before this. When I expressed my annoyance with this, I was told it was because I did not pay the deposit right away and someone else took my time. No where in the email or on the website where you pay the deposit did it say not paying right away would affect your time slot. I was under the impression that as long as I paid before 8/31 I was good to go. I told them this was unclear and they needed to put that information on the website and in the email. After that my time was changed once more to an earlier time that I was happier with. In the end I was happy with the experience. read more

My friends at work recommended InstaTrans and they did a great job moving and storing our stuff. The actual bill was within 3% of the quoted price which I was happy about. Everyone was friendly, fast, and efficient at moving our stuff. The only downside of working with them was that their moving truck was quite large. Though I had a moving permit for 2 parking spots on the move-in we were unable to use the spot because the truck was slightly too large even for the 2 spots. They still found a way to load the truck but they had to walk a bit further. Despite this I would definitely recommend to a friend. The negative reviews on here must either be made up by competitors or are complete outliers given the level of service I received. read more

The short review: Absolutely great service provided by Nazar & Co. from InstraTrans! I highly recommend them! The detailed review: Just to provide some context, my wife and I hired 2 movers from InstaTrans to help us load up our truck in Boston (we were moving out of state and had friends and family helping us unload at our new place). We had a 16-foot truck, and a 1 bedroom apt with quite a bit of heavy furniture (no appliances). The booking process was fast and easy - I had a quote hours after requesting a free estimate from their website, and by the next day we had booked the reservation. Their rates were extremely fair, especially considering the quality of the service provided. InstaTrans also confirmed the reservation the day before our move. On the day of our move, Nazar and Co. (crew of 2) arrived 10 mins early and immediately got to work packing up our truck. They were incredibly efficient, and yet took the necessary time to make sure our furniture and fragile boxes were packed securely in the truck. They were finished well before my wife and I had hoped, which was great! When we arrived at our new apt (~3 hr drive) and opened the truck, we were pleased to see that nothing had moved inside the truck - a testament to how well Nazar and Co. packed everything. None of our belongings were damaged/broken during the move! Everyone knows moving is stressful, but InstaTrans made the entire day go smoothly with their fast, friendly, and high-quality service. I highly recommend them, and would definitely utilize them in the future if I'm ever back in the Boston area. read more

Dependable, On-Time, Friendly, Trustworthy InstaTrans Movers were amazing! I had a move from Allston, MA to Arlington,VA. On time, very friendly movers! Everything they promised on the phone (duration to move the items, how long it would take to deliver the items) were accurate and they were very dependable. They worked around my work hours constraints and were extremely quick to get back to me whenever I had a question. Nazar and his team were truly a treat to work with! read more

Need movers? Use InstaTrans. We called them last-minute for an end-of the month move, and everything worked out perfectly. -Great prices (no fees, excellent hourly rate, accurate estimate) -Careful (carried heavy dressers down 5 flights of stairs, free furniture wrapping) -Transparent, on-time, and friendly (quickly helped reassemble and set up everything in our new place) Way better than any other company I've seen, both in terms of pricing and quality. read more

Moving is awful in the city, especially this year since all colleges were moving in on the 31st. InstaTrans was thorough from the beginning and Nazar, the person I was in contact with, almost always responded instantly. The movers were early and moved very quickly. Their friendliness and promptness made moving as stress free as I have ever had it. Thank you guys! read more

Awful. Cancelled the day of the move. Unprofessional and shady. Wouldnt return our phone calls for three days and then sent and email the day of the move cancelling. Too many reputable companies to choose from and this is not one. They are a disgrace. ...... I expected the response you gave. What else would you say? I have confirmation of the move if anyone would like the truth. Feel free to message me. There are other great companies we unfortunately had to discover at lesser prices like Moversaurus, 617movers@gmail.com that actually will give their office locations, provide detailed company info, returns calls and operate legit. And they were professional and less money with prices that dont change vs what they advertise once you call them. Better outcome for us thank goodness but these guys are a scam. And so arent many of their reviews. This one is real. Be aware. read more

These guys are great, really. We had a small budget to hire movers with, I didn't think we could afford it but luckily we found these guys. After getting over 30 quotes for my interstate move, InstaTrans was the lowest. They were also the only company willing to guarantee next day delivery instead of the 0-5 or 14 day window that most companies wanted to give me! I was initially a bit hesitant to book my move due to their no frills approach - no online quote system, informal quote over email with no formal quote form like a lot of the big companies that overcharge you provide, etc. But Nazar was friendly over the phone, so I went ahead and booked the move. I am so glad I did. The two movers came within the two hour window that they gave me with my quote and called in advance to let me know exactly what time they would arrive. They were fast and efficient and arrived the next day on time. All of my items were wrapped, loaded, and unloaded carefully. I highly recommend! read more

Buyer beware! Something broke during my move. When I tried to talk to someone about it, they stonewalled me, were rude, accusatory, and deceitful. The movers themselves were great guys, but the management is completely unscrupulous. They lied to my face and stopped returning my calls. Be very, very careful. Better yet, find a different company. read more

Hired them for our second local move. One bedroom to two bed apartment. This move was 2 bed to single family home. Moved quickly and efficiently. Cost was half as expensive as other larger moving companies around Boston. Maybe even a third of the cost of other companies. Would hire a third time. read more

I'll start by stating that I unfortunately had to move on the worst day possible in Boston: Sept. 1st. I found InstaTrans on yelp and they were able to accommodate me on this horrible day. That being said, the process to book was seamless and I felt a little less stressed about the move. They gave me a time frame between 2-5pm and said they would call 30 mins before they arrived. Since they planned on getting there so late in the day I took a few trips to my new apt and moved everything I could carry just to make the move a little easier. Around 4:45PM I had heard nothing from the movers and called InstaTrans. She told me they were stuck in traffic and would call me. I was under the impression that regardless they would call 30 mins prior to arriving to make sure I was ready and there. They did not. They finally arrived at 5:15PM which is fine I just would have probably run some errands earlier in the day. The two men who showed up were clearly exhausted from a full day of moving in 90 degree weather but they seriously shouldn't have overbooked themselves. They were pretty much useless and spent so much time trying to figure out how to get certain pieces of furniture out of my apt (all of which i moved myself into the apt a year prior). They took their time which would be fine if they weren't scratching and banging all of my furniture (holy anxiety). Half of my furniture is nicked and they were not careful with any of the things they moved. 2 hours later (ridiculous!!) they tried to move the couch....long story short they couldn't get it out and i ended up telling them to stop and just leave it there because i couldn't take it any longer. When we finally arrived at the new apt they were in such a rush to get the hell out of there that they again were careless with my belongings. My boyfriend and I helped carry things into the apt because we were tired and just wanted them to leave. I have had my fair share of movers on sept 1st but this one was just nightmarish. I was completely prepared and did more than i probably should since i hired movers. I will never use them again. I'm not sure if it was the time of day and we were the last stop or if these two men just completely did not care. I could have saved $550 and moved the rest of the stuff with the help of family/friends. read more

InstaTrans Movers moved me 10/3/15 and did an amazing job! Came right on time, professional, accommodating, efficient, overall great. I'd definitely use them again and recommend them to all my friends and family. It was the exact time and price I was estimated. I had the 16 ft truck and two guys (they were awesome!) to move a couch, mattress, box spring, 2 bureaus, bed (headboard, frame, footboard), table, chair, and nightstand. read more

Don't remember how I found InstaTrans Movers but they were only one company to do free in home estimate and free box delivery. After the move I was happy I did use this company - two young guys showed up on time, we professional and experienced, all furniture was completely wrapped and everything handled with care. The move went a little bit over estimated time but within promised range. It is hard to impress me, I always look for flaws - but there were none, in the process of booking, moving etc. Good job guys! read more

Nazer, the owner, runs a tight ship. Professional, punctual, courteous and organized is what you want from a moving company, and they delivered. The customer service is excellent. The crew arrived on time and got right to it. These guys can do everything. For us they took apart a heavy and complicated cabinet and made it disappear quickly. The carefully bagged up our box spring and mattresses, wrapped 3 pieces of mirrored furniture and a glass headboard with ease, and were extremely careful with our Knoll fiberglass furniture. These guys can handle breakables and have the brawn to move big boxes and furniture as well. If anything can take the stress out of moving it's having these guys move you. Very competitive pricing. read more

This company gets zero stars from me. I read all the reviews and I don't believe any of them. I scheduled our moves weeks in advance from MA to Georgia. The day before our scheduled move they confirmed and said the would arrive between noon and 2 pm. The morning of our scheduled move they called at 10 am and said they would arrive at 4 pm. After many calls to find out where they were 4 pm became 5 pm and then 6 pm still no movers. I was told oh we will send extra guys do they will load faster. Now mind you my husband and I are scheduled to leave after the truck is loaded to start our drive to Georgia. Finally I'm told by an employee I will be there in 40 minutes this was at 5:30 pm. At 7 pm still no movers. I call back the number of the person who said he would be 40 minutes he said I'm 20 minutes away. I start to tell him how concerned I am at how late they are and that I have lost faith in their business and he says to me what you want to cancel? Before I can open my mouth he says good luck and hangs up on me. I email Nazar to tell him how disgusted I am at his lack of professionalism and that I won't be using their service and want my deposit back. I'm told by the secretary its against their policy to return my deposit. However if I agree to not post any negative reviews they will return my deposit. You know what... Keep my damn deposit if I can save anyone from having the kind of experience my husband and I had today with this company I will! Oh and did I mention one of their employees told me that they were scheduled to finish the first job of the day at 1 pm. So they overbooked themselves from the very start since they were supposed to be aT our house at noon. Stay away from them. This company lacks integrity, lies and has very poor business practices. read more
