Ordered takeout from here and the food was good. The pizzas (potato & sage, sausage) and caesar salad are worth getting if you're looking for a no-fuss type of meal and drinks. Service was okay. The restaurant is more so set up as a sit-in restaurant, so in my opinion, takeout isn't recommended. The outdoor entrance can get pretty dark in the evening, so be careful you don't miss it! read more

This was true even on a Tuesday at lunch where the line wasn't as bad and there was even room for seating. Not one food item has ever been bad for me. It is because of the INGREDIENTS. The high quality and freshness makes all the flavors pop and each dish stand out. My favorites today were the Mushroom Pizza and Panzanella salad. The salad had probably six different type of heirloom tomatoes just in one dish. Oh, and the prices are reasonable and parking is easy in lot in front. This hidden gem was way beyond our expectations as we were driving through Buelton and looking for a place to eat. Not in the area I was expecting but close to the freeway. Great music, great vibe fantastic food I even liked all the artwork. This will definitely be our go to place next time we're in town. We had the skirt steak tomatillo, queso fresco pizza. What a great find! My husband and I stumbled upon this through yelp search, and what a great find! The sandwiches are large, delicious and served with a nice small lettuce salad! We had the Cuban, by far one of the best Cubans I have had. My husband got the beef tongue reuben and it was done perfectly and had more meat than you would expect. We also got a side of shishito peppers that were so good with a nice lemon flavor! We didn't order pizza but they looked good and definitely would give them a try. The service was great, order at counter and the plates, silverware, food brought to you. Had a few beers on draft and a fair amount of cans to pick from. This was my 3rd time back visiting from LA. All 3x I've dined here did not disappoint! It's definitely my GO TO spot in the Lompoc/Solvang area. Ambiance is laid back with long high top & low top tables. You pay for the order first & then sit to be served. The workers were always friendly & attentive. I liked how their menu had many different options & I noticed it also changed whenever I returned back so you could try something different but at the same time, keep what is delicious! My fav dish which I've ordered all 3x was the miso cod. It's flaky & seasoned to perfection. Husband wanted to try their duck salad this time & I was happy to see Escargot on the menu so we shared all 3 dishes. Everything was enjoyable to eat & the portion size was good for 2 people. The duck was tender & surprisingly blended well with the salad. The Escargot was flavorful. We even had leftovers of the fish & took it with us. The only small complaint I have is I wish the bread was more soft & less burnt. As for drinks, we both ordered a glass of red wine each. The cashier/server was very generous to let us try a few different reds to compare which ones we wanted to order. He even comped us a glass bc he forgot to charge us for one of them. We had a mixed experience here. The Caesar salad was delicious, with a citrusy dressing that was more flavorful than a typical Caesat dressing. We ordered two pizzas, which they are known for. One was OK and the other heavy and bland. The Gorgonzola, apple, and bacon pizza was mainly white sauce and Gorgonzola; any apple and bacon were not evident. It tasted fine nonetheless but was more of a cheese pizza than expected. The crust was rustic and appropriately chewy. The chicken, pesto, and red onion pizza was heavy (the shredded chicken was clumpy), and the assemblage lacked flavor. There were no distinct flavors from any of the ingredients. The crust was very bland. This pizza certainly needed salt, the chicken should have been seasoned, and the pesto lacked any basil flavor. The toppings were too heavy for the crust. Their beer selection is odd. With nearly a dozen choices, half were hazy IPAs, one a sweet dark, one pils, one lager, one pale ale, and one American IPA. They need fewer hazy IPAs, and would benefit from a broader assortment of styles. Maybe a stout, red, and rye? The seating is communal, and people clearly were enjoying themselves. The venue is quite loud, making conversation hard. The staff is friendly and efficient. Prices are moderate, with pizzas a d sandwiches/burgers plus or minus $20, salads plus or minus $16, and heartier mains $30 to $55.. Most reviews are very positive but there is also a persistent minority of disappointed reviews. I suspect the execution is uneven, so maybe you'll be happy, or maybe you won't. I might try coming here again, but I might not -- eating out is too costly to take a gamble. There are one or two shared starters, but essentially no sides available. read more

I love this place! The one down side is that dishes come out as they are ready, meaning someone might wait a little. Amazing grilled cheese sandwich with small but delicious side salad. Wonderful pizzas, and so on. But I read the 1-star reviews, which have lots of misinformation: 1) They take credit cards. 2) you pay when you order; no one sets a check down on your table, etc. etc. Either these people have reviewed the wrong restaurant, or there was malicious intent. read more

5/10/2026 We ordered at 5:30ish and sat to enjoy our beer and wine. It is fascinating to watch an open kitchen operate. The staff thought we sat too long without our meal and comped the meal and offered another beer. We really didn't sit that long but apparently they thought so. A HIDDEN GEM tucked in a repurposed warehouse decorated with artwork and hanging neon signs in Buellton, CA. If a friend had not recommended me, I would have zoomed past this Central Coast neighborhood to my destination. Menus are hand-written on a butcher paper. Make sure to get here before the busy hours. Luckily, we found a table upon arrival, but after five minutes, a mass was waiting outside to be seated. Service was a little slow but expected since it was a packed house. Make sure to check out their unique bathroom signs. It made me giggle for creativity. What we ordered: WHITE SHRIMP (white shrimp, pancetta, chile, garlic, toast) - I wish the toast were larger. Instead, it was two bruschetta toast with a jumbo shrimps on top. For the price, it wasn't enough. REUBEN (beef tongue pastrami) - My favorite entree. I am all about exploring the wild side of food, and making a Reuben sandwich using cow's tongue (or lengua in Spanish) is no exception. This taste was spot on, like a typical Reuben pastrami sandwich. The only variation is the meat used to cure the meat. WHITE PIZZA (sheep's ricotta, provolone, mozz, parm) - Quite cheesy, using four different types of cheese. I love cheese, and using variations to make cheese pizza is the best way to eat. SAUSAGE PIZZA (fennel sausage, tomato, mozz, basil) - Kinda like a margherita pizza with sausage on top. I liked it and appreciated that they made all their pizzas in the clay oven pizza oven. Overall, Industrial Eats is solid four stars, and if anyone in the area is passing by, it is quite worth stopping by for the Reuben. read more

This place is unique. I can say the food is good. My husband had the short rib shepherd pie and is great and a good portion. The tempura asparagus & mushroom bisque soup were also very good. I would have loved to give this place a 5, but service was lacking. They brought my husband's meal out and I was still waiting. He was able to finish his meal and I still didn't get my food. Industrial Eats has such a menu unlike anywhere else - oysters, sandwiches, flatbreads, salads and more! You place your order at the counter and they bring your food to your seat. Depending on the time of day, it could be packed or you might get lucky and not have to wait long. I've been a couple times and have found seating pretty easily. They have local beer and wine available. I've loved all of the food we move tried here except for the flatbreads which always seemed to be burned, and with so many other amazing things on the menu there's plenty of much tastier options. This place is simply magical. I've been coming here for years and everything here is not only the sum of is it's parts but a union of flavors that you just can't get anywhere else. Unfortunately, I was served something akin to a school lunch, classic loaf toasted white bread with thin bacon fragments. Awful. Not to mention it was just a sandwich, no side salad or fries. We were visiting Buellton CA for 4 days. On the first day, we went to Industrial Eats for lunch. We had the Banh Mi and the Crispy Fish sandwiches. Both were so delicious! I especially liked the relish and dressing for the Banh Mi. It was so unique and tasty! The sandwiches were enough for our lunch and dinner. We returned the following day for the Fennel Sausage Pizza. It was amazing, the sausage was so tasty (best Italian sausage I've ever had). The next day, we ordered a Caesar Salad to go. The staff were all very friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed and casual. We were so happy to find a place that served innovative dishes, fresh ingredients, and such friendly staff! My sister and I had a late lunch on Black Friday. Despite being after peak lunchtime, there was a line to order and the front dining area was packed. We placed our order and took our drinks next door to the "Grand Room" dining area to wait for our food. We had my 2 large greyhounds with us, and they were welcomed inside as long as they were quiet and well-behaved (pretty much a definition of the breed ). It was much quieter in the Grand Room than the main room, and my hounds settled down quickly at my feet. The food was excellent. I couldn't believe the huge portions, too. Very mid. We were visiting for a wine tasting weekend and were recommended this place for a bite to eat from one of the local winery servers and it wasn't anything special. Definitely wish we stopped at a fast food place instead for a burger fr lol. The fries are just frozen fries heated up and the bbq brisket was not good and definitely heated up as well. The brisket is all chunks of fat, so gross! Cafeteria food vibes for sure. We were just desperate for some food before our next winery so ate it all but it was painful lol McDonald's woulda been better and that's saying a lotttttt. We opted for sandwiches and pizza to go with the beer and cider. Brisket sandwich- really tender meat and very well seasoned. The coleslaw was a perfect pairing. Margherita Pizza- the dough was good and toppings average Reuben sandwich- they had a little twist that the meat was lengua which was really soft and tasty but I wish it had more sauerkraut Cuban- loved this sandwich!
