BEWARE of them laughing and talking about customers in their language!
To the management: customers know you're doing it, it's painfully obvious and unprofessional and just flat out RUDE.
They pick and choose who they offer tea and water too. Out of at least 12 months worth of services, I was offered water/tea once and watched hundreds of others be extended the courtesy.
My experience: I used to love this place. I started coming when they barely had customers or a buzz. I followed a nail tech here as I was already familiar with his services. Their pedicures were good so I stuck around. A little on the pricey side, but I am willing to pay for quality. I even recommended others I knew to come here.
Well that honeymoon only lasted so long. After coming faithfully - every 2 weeks, spending $60-$80 most visits, tipping very well and being sure to ALWAYS make an appointment, I began to notice a shift in their professionalism. During my last visit, I sat down for a fill and the tech didn't even greet me, smile or acknowledge me. Just grabbed my hand rudely and began working! When i politely brought it up, I was told "I don't speak to customers anymore." Then he tried to laugh it off. Well it wasn't funny. He also is very finicky about the way you rest your arms. It almost always seems to be wrong for him, and spends most of the appointment adjusting how you're sitting to make it more comfortable for him. I should be able to lay my hands comfortably and loosely without being constantly picked at about how I am resting my arms and hands! No one else does this, and it often hurts my lower back trying to adhere to what makes him comfortable. Big fail!
Nhi does great nails and design. I really don't have any issues with Nhi. BUT as of the last 2 months, my nails break after 2-3 days! It never fails and this didn't use to happen. I am not hard on my nails, and sometimes I will look down and my nails will be broken. I grabbed a paper towel at work, a nail broke. When you spend $80 for your nails and they break after 2 days, it's disheartening and it looks crappy. I can't claim they've made changes to their materials, but it seems cheap. I am moving on unfortunately. If it weren't for the broken nails, I could have made it work with Nhi. read more
