What is talent? This is talent!! I only tell Timmy nature color with cat's eyes and it comes out so good!! Elegant yet sweet. Perfect for every occasion and it's short!!
I absolutely LOVE Tulip Nails Salon, and Quy is hands down the reason I keep coming back. She is truly one of a kind. There is no nail design too crazy, too detailed, or too specific for her she always delivers, and somehow makes it look even better than the inspiration. Quy is a true perfectionist in the best way possible. She takes her time, pays attention to every single detail, and genuinely cares about her work. I never feel rushed, and I never have to "settle" or second guess anything. I can honestly say I've never once worried about not liking my nails (even when trying something new) because I already know they're going to come out flawless. What really sets her apart is her consistency and professionalism. She listens, she suggests improvements when needed, and she makes sure everything is perfectly shaped, clean, and balanced. My nails always last (5 weeks retention EVERY set) , always look fresh, and ALWAYS get compliments. If you're looking for a nail tech you can fully trust, who treats your nails like art and takes pride in every set, Quy is your girl. Tulip Nails Salon is super lucky to have her and so am I. I won't go to anyone else!

Yvonne did my newest set and I am in love! They remember my name and are so warm and welcoming. Plus my nails last a long time after coming here. Today a full family came in (mom, grandma, grandpa, and daughters) and they all knew the staff and got great service. If your whole family goes there, you know it's a good place!
The BEST salon out there!!! We called and made an appointment ahead of time, they were more than accommodating for my three friends and I. We were seated. We got pedicures and manicures. I showed a picture of wanted I wanted and got EXACTLY what I wanted. Honestly it's the most perfect nails I have ever received and my toes look amazing. So happy with the service and such amazing work!!!
Found this salon while browsing Park Street. Salon seemed aged and may benefit from renovation, but looked clean. Staff were courteous and professional. Got a regular pedicure. Cindy/ Sandy(?) was very gentle and thorough with my pedicure. Received all of attention that my feet needed. I appreciated the warm towel compress and massage chair. Pricing was not clear on website/Yelp/Google. When I asked at entrance of pricing for a pedicure, the gentleman working there said $30. However, I was charged $32 before tip by Sandy. It gave me an impression that they change the pricing accordingly to people : ( ? Please be upfront with better fair pricing.
Quy does my gel-x nails and takes her TIME with the appointments. She really does make sure the shape and design is what I ask for and it's nice having a nail tech that isn't rushing you out the door. Sometimes I take a month in between sets and the retention is TOP-TIER. Literally. Never had a nail pop off.
Monthly pedicure time! Yvonne did my Pedi and like everyone else at the shop, she is very thorough but I also like the way she massages my legs. She has a firm touch that I like. Everyone will say hi to you and use your name when you walk in. I had a long, hard day today and it was so nice to get a cold bottle of water while soaking my feet. When the hot paraffin wax touched my feet, all my problems went away. You deserve this kind of treatment too! Make an appointment soon!

Even though my nails are always simple, I'm super picky about the shape & Quy always takes her time to make everything even & perfect for me! I also really appreciate that she asks me if I like the shape or if she needs to fix anything after she finishes filing them. It gives you a moment to check your nails to make sure they're to your liking -- it's a small gesture, but it's thoughtful. She also makes & sells her own juices at the shop & they're delicious! I had the "green juice" most recently, but have had watermelon & orange too -- all were yummy! The pedicures here are great too! Not sure of the ladies' names, but have always been happy leaving here!
Gel X nails or acrylics you can never go wrong with the mother daughter duo. I truly love them I've been going here for over 8 years . Catch them on a day wheee mimosas are offered and it's truly a vibe

Tulip Nails is my go to in Alameda for my Mani's! All the staff are welcoming, but Timmy is the reason I've gone back a couple times now - his process is thorough and he's so soft handed! I wish I got a picture when he did square before these sets below were done, but he does the square shape perfect too. This is my first time doing fun designs instead of nudes or pinks, so I'm happy that Timmy is kind to work with and talented to do these sets for me. The salon overall is relaxing and there's fresh juice for sale in the back! I haven't had a pedi here yet, but every time I come, the chairs are filled with families or couples getting group pedis done and the loyal regulars coming in as the salons already full. It's a smaller space, but definitely cozy, clean and perfect for your mani and pedi needs. read more

Nail art by Anna and pedicure by Timmy. Anna is patient and detail-oriented and always makes the cutest designs from the photos I show her. I specifically request her and have not been denied a nail art request! Timmy is also great and uses a foot scrub. Both my pedicure and manicure last over a month. This is the only nail salon I will go to in the Bay Area and I've been to quite a few! read more
Came here as a recommendation from my friend to see Quy. She is friendly and very gentle while removing and doing my gel nails. She took her time to make sure my nails turn out great with every little polishing details. We chatted our way through naturally, and I enjoyed our conversation. I feel like we are friends already. I also asked her to wax my eyebrows, which she did an excellent job. Young and talented, I highly recommend and will definitely return for future nail necessities. read more

Appointments were easy to schedule and the ladies that work here were nice and on time. Initially had two different designs in mind but the nail artist was not able to do it. Default to a gel nails with gems thinking what can go wrong. The nails started to crack and show lines where the diamond was gel/glue on few hours after the Thursday evening appointment. The lines are visibly worse with time but the nails with just the gel polish were fine. I am pretty convinced it's due to extra nail cures to secure the added gems. read more

Quy is the absolute best! She's the only person I trust to do my gel-x nails and I'm one of those indecisive, yet very particular clients. Quy helps me brainstorm designs and they always come out beautifully! Also, I only get my gel pedis (white color only bc ya girl's boring) at Tulip bc theirs last for at least a month with no chipping! I didn't catch his name, but the fabulous man with the glasses does my pedis and he is very meticulous with his work Pro tip: Schedule ahead of time, otherwise you will be waiting bc their services are highly sought after. If you want your gel-x done by Quy, call in first to make sure she's available. read more

Tulip nails does not disappoint! I wanted a really fun look for my vacation trip to Kauai. I brought in a photo and they were able to recreate it even better than the picture! The attention to detail is spectacular. Be sure to call ahead to make an appointment, they are popular and get busy. read more

Sadly this was a terrible service experience. The pedicurist dug into my big toe so hard that it bled. It is now swollen and painful. Then after my toes were painted and I had sat, the pedicurist said they were dry. She tried to put my sandals on and they dragged the paint on my big toe off, ruining the paint. I was polite and paid/tipped anyway, people make mistakes. I came back today-- next day-- and asked her to simply repaint the toenail. She asked me to pick the polish and then left me standing without speaking to me, in the front of the store for 20 minutes. Another customer came in after me and was seated in a chair, and had their service begin while I was still standing there-- with my two kids-- just trying to get my toenail repainted. I politely offered to come back at a better time, and asked what would work better for them. They still ignored this request and left me standing there, and motioned to a chair. My kids were hungry, there was no sign they were at all interested in politeness or customer service. In addition, my toe (pictures) is swollen and throbbing. What a disaster. Causing an injury then ruining a paint job, and then failing to rectify it in what would have been pretty easy and painless. Very unprofessional. I want my $32 dollars back. read more

As someone who gets nails done on a regular basis, this is by far the BEST nail shop. Timmy was amazing and so great with detail! Not a single flaw in sight. A friend brought me here for a manicure, and I had the pleasure of working with Quy! She was fast at applying my gel manicure and was great to chat with! Very thorough and meticulous with the French Tip application. I love how the colors came out! During the manicure, my friend asked about the eyebrow waxing, and Quy convinced me to try it. Was previously traumatized by a rough eyebrow shaping incident as a teen so I've always been hesitant to do anything since. She heard me loud and clear and made sure to keep the shape very natural and as painless as possible! Salon itself was busy but well maintained. Cost of services was $45 + tip. Definitely a great deal! Will definitely return! read more

I have been a client of Yvonne for over 15 years- and recently had the opportunity for her daughter Quy to do my nails. Quy did a phenomenal Gel-X set for me. Quy is a perfectionist. My nails are perfectly shaped, the polish is even, and most of all the nails are quality!! Quy is also a professional nail tech with a great hand and eye for intricate nail art and can execute what I think are difficult designs with ease. I cannot recommend Quy enough if you are looking for a nail tech who specializes in Gel-X and nail art! read more

Yes, they do! I don't know the pricing as I didn't get it done myself, but another customer requested it while I was there. I'm sure you could call to inquire about pricing.
Does anyone know if they do holographic nails and how much for holographic acrylic nails?? Thank you so much
I got my chrome nails done for $50.00 using my real nails. They don't do gel, but will use the UV light to dry your nails faster- so don't forget to put on sunscreen!
