Judging by the amount of photos I've attached... I'm never disappointed. In fact, I'm always leaving IN LOVE with my nails. Literally can't stop staring at 'em sometimes. They recently moved to a new location which is a lot more airy and bright, slightly further into Alameda. The group of women they got there is solid! My go-to girl is Dani, she's got a great hand at art and is all around a delight to chat with. She really ensures I feel pampered at the salon and I love her attention to detail. I booked with Dani for a long overdue pedicure. I immediately felt calmed by her professionalism and good nature, and then saw her quickly make work of my embarrassingly tough and long toe nails. I normally find salon chairs a bit dingy, but the equipment here was all clean and new. They even add a little "shower cap" to the foot basin so you're soaking in a protective barrier, if that's something that appeals to you. This is my new favorite spot for myself and my family and Dani is my new favorite nail tech. I would not recommend coming here because you may have a shady experience. I made an appointment on Vagaro with Naomi for gel-x nails. The shop wasn't opened when I arrived and Naomi let me in. She started filing my nails, and then for some reason passed me on to Camille to finish the rest of my service after her arrival. First of all, if I book a certain person, I expect for that person to start and finish my service. Never again. The nail technician removed my previous gel mani with A series of drill files. She filed to the point that sheets of my nail plate were peeling off and she was plucking them away with tweezers. You can see where she pulled away sheets of my nail, ended up with a bumpy pockmarked gel mani from an uneven nail plate. They charged for a full on manicure but essentially just did a polish change and light reshape/dry manicure. No cuticle work, or real cleanup or any extras (soak/massage etc) So far 3/10 nail have broken at the base of the nail. I've never had my nails break with gel manicure. Super sad because I've been growing my nails out and this place destroyed them. read more

I have never been so happy coming out of a nail appt! I've been trying to find a nail tech in Alameda for ~4 years and am soooo happy to have found Jessi. Before her, I would drive to Santa Clara to get them done or wait until I was down in LA. Jessi is really communicative and you can see how much care she puts into her work. This is a review for my manicurist, Cristal Garcia. I have been a client of hers since March 2021, when she was at a different salon in Oakland, and have followed her to Daily Glam. Before Cristal (basically, pre-pandemic), my gel manicures would barely last two weeks. With Cristal as my manicurist, my nails are in the most amazing shape they've ever been! My nails are strong, healthy, and long, which is miraculous as a former nail-biter. She has an amazing attention to detail in shaping my nails, cleaning them up, and applying the polish. My manicures now last me up to three weeks and barely chip (knock on wood). I also love going to Cristal because she feels more like a family friend who I've known for a while now and catch up with at family parties. Also, I love the location of the nail salon!
