I had never been to an IHOP before, but decided to give this one a try. The service was excellent, our waitress was Manuela Serna and she was always on top of everything, making sure we had everything we needed. The food was great, but she made the experience even better. Very respectful and exactly how a waitress should be. Always smiling, always making sure everything was ok and if we needed anything else. Overall the experience was great and hopefully the next time I go there, she's there so I can request her service again. read more

The IHOP in Parsippany has the best service and quality of all of the IHOP 's I've tried in Northern New Jersey thus far. The wait staff is young but professional. This morning we had Christina and she was spot on with getting the order correct, constantly checking back making sure everything was okay. The food is standard, for IHOP menu but the quality of ingenious is what makes it so much more palatable than all of the other restaurants we tried. The new practice of using "Yelp" for your reservation is great and it cuts down on the long lines you experience at IHOP's in general. Haven't been to I Hop in quite awhile. Today the coffee was weak like colored water and barely warm, but that has always been that way. The Swiss mushroom spinach omelet had onions that smelled so strong, I couldn't eat it. They did make another one but the waitress seemed more aggravated than helpful. It was basically tasteless. My daughter asked for more ice because there was barely any in the iced tea. The waitress never brought more. Won't be back. read more

Clean, good service, nice staff, and with the menu that IHOP is known for makes this the only one I go to. Plenty of parking and good location. Now if I could just get some grilled serrano peppers on my omelet every time I go there instead of getting preserved jalapeno or just a whole serrano. Service can be a bit slow at times, but the food is consistently good. I've been known to go through a few pots of coffee after returning from a gig. Butter Pecan syrup is my downfall. The dinners are great too. Don't underestimate IHOP. read more

Like wow man...Nothing better than eggs & pancakes to cure a hangover! This location was close to last nights lady conquest's crib. Staff is friendly and attentive, the Bub daddy needed about a dozen cups of Joe to get my motor running and my waitress Sheila or Shelly always kept my cup full. 4 eggs over easy were perfect, nice and runny oozing over my chocolate chip pants cakes. Went with my family on a Friday night, 10pm and they were closed! Employees were there to serve take out but not the restaurant. When they advertise that they are open until 12am they should be open until 12am ! Needless to say we did not eat there and never will again. Vincent was our server. He was intelligent, friendly, handsome, and attentive. He added to our great experience by being one of the best servers I have ever experienced. IHOP is lucky to have him. We were there for our son's birthday and were a party of nine. Vincent brought out our food, made sure everything was the way it was ordered, and even joined in to sing Happy Birthday to my son. He stopped by several times to make sure everything was okay. We were already there to celebrate something great and Vincent was just charming and made himself almost a part of our family. Very disappointed with this ihop. My friend myself usually enjoy ihop. The restaurant was clean but served was horrible. We got our food on time but not even to check how we enjoy our food or even if we needed refills. My sandwich was drench in sauce that my bread was mushie. My friend home fries were burn. What really cut cake with this restaurant was rap music that they had blasting in kitchen and staff look like they were hanging out listening to rap music blasting. I've normally like the service from this ihop, despite some hits and misses on food quality. However, when we (3 adults and 2 kids) ordered two all you can eat pancakes combo today for a family of 5 (kids ordered one order kids menu to share), we were told we cannot share the pancakes, which was fine since one of us adults do not eat pancakes anyways. We had one refill of the pancakes but when asked for another refill of the pancakes, waitress gave us a mean look and said if we want all you can eat we should order more food. She refused to give us more pancakes, asked us to pay the check and if we want more food we need to do separate orders. So it is a scam as they only bring you two at a time and they judge you by how much food you order. read more

This is one of my favorite IHOP's I been to. I went to the Ihop in Elizabeth great but way to busy. This Ihop is just perfect it's a drive for me maybe 15 minutes with out traffic but it's worth the drive. Today my server was Carlos he is a great server, he had multiple tables and still gave me great service to my kids and I. He really puts in a lot of work and that what made him a great server and I will for sure request for him every time I come if he's available the wait will be worth it. read more

So I'm here at iHop with my family around 8. The waiter must have tired because he accidentally spilled water on my dad. IHOP Is a place full of great food, but this IHOP has some of the best service and nice waiters, than I have ever seen. Another great thing about this IHOP is that the food is always on time. It's not 20 minutes after you order, or 15 minutes after you order that you will receive your food; instead it's more like 10 minutes to get your food. Even when it's crowded they always get your food to you on time. Overall great service and great people working here. read more
