I wish I remembered her name because she deserves a shoutout! Despite how hectic the restaurant was, she stayed friendly, attentive, and on top of everything. Honestly, I felt bad because she seemed to be covering so many tables, but she never let it affect the quality of her service. The brunch was delicious and definitely lived up to expectations. What a clean, open space! I was greeted warmly and shown to my table quickly. My server Katia was very friendly and checked on me an appropriate number of times throughout my meal. I ordered the Purple Haze drink and it was as delicious as it was beautiful. The Chipotle Steak & Queso Hash was a bit salty for my taste but still good. Very hearty and a decent portion size, I had to box up what I couldn't finish to go. I dined solo and didn't feel awkward or uncomfortable. I sat and read a book for an additional 20 minutes after I was finished. It wasn't very busy and there were plenty of open tables. I might not have stayed as long if it looked like people were waiting but again the server did not rush me or imply I was unwelcome. Our experience at First Watch was very positive. We had a table for 6 and our daughter was given crayons and a drawing to color and that kept her occupied until the food arrived. David, the General Manager, was extremely accommodating and checked in, which I thought was amazing! I ordered the Works Omelet with a substitution of turkey sausage instead of bacon and mozzarella cheese instead of the cheese offered. It was a good sized meal and the eggs were cooked perfectly! The current seasonal specialties- tres leches french toast - the toast was good, but the tres leches made me want syrup - a lot more syrup- as it made it drier even with the whipped cream and strawberries. The chimi steak was too dry (they didn't ask us how anyone wanted it done... so not the best), though the hash was plenty of potatoes and the egg was done right with the chimi churri sauce a nice touch across. Service was ok, but very busy so they didn't come around much. Coffee cup was already dirty, passed it back for another one. They have a coffee pot upfront for those waiting. First time here. It's a national chain restaurant. You can't make reservations but availability during the week is usually easy to get a table. The Belgian waffle was good but soft and didn't have much crunch. The Tri athlete was good as well. The side salad was surprisingly very good with a nice lemon flavored dressing. The English muffin was definitely more dense than a traditional English muffin, more like a roll than an English muffin. The BLT Benedict was very good and the hollandaise sauce was very creamy and tasty. The million dollar bacon was sweet and peppery. Overall the service was super slow, we had to ask for the waitress to take our order after we sat for 20 minutes. The food did come out pretty quick but most of them weren't super warm. I've been to this First Watch so many times that I can't believe I'm just now leaving a review. But here it is: chefs kiss, every single time. It's so cozy in there and definitely gives off farmhouse brunch vibes!! The food is always fresh, hot, and delicious. The regular menu stays the same, which I love, but they always add a holiday or seasonal menu with extra food and drink options--best of both worlds. I've never had anything here that wasn't good. The service is consistently great too. It does get very busy, so I recommend joining the wait line before you go--once you arrive, just check in at the desk and they'll give you a good idea of the wait and how many parties are ahead of you. Pro tip: anything on the menu with "hash" in the name--get it. The Belgian waffle is fluffy, lightly sweet, and just a little crunchy, especially with the warm syrup and butter. The Million Dollar Bacon is easily in my top three menu items--don't skip it. This location is in a busy shopping complex, but there's always plenty of parking. I also love that you can scan your receipt and check yourself out if you want. I've only had breakfast here so far, but based on that alone, I highly recommend this place. I've been to first watch twice. The 1st was an ok experience but I wasn't wowed nor did I feel welcomed. I am one who gives 2nd chances and I went back. And the service was wayyyy better! The food was delicious and it was just a easy better experience overall! I had the Farmhouse skillet hash and it's was a great portion, great taste and it was recommended by my waitress. The restaurant is semi busy mid day i guess my fellow brunch lovers but no wait. They do close I believe at 3p but don't quote me. I definitely would go again especially when I'm feeling brunch. Today especially was a truly kind and accommodating experience. We were a group of 8 and we were told a 30 minute wait. It ended up being more of 50 minutes. We didn't say anything about the wait, but the manager was very apologetic and let us get 3 sharing appetizers since we waited longer than what we were told. Totally unheard of these days with this type of service. The manager came around a few times to check in with us and our waiter was also super kind. Having dined at this First Watch multiple times before, we were aware of the quality they typically offer, and this experience felt subpar. When the server returned and asked if everything was okay, I informed her that it wasn't great, but we couldn't wait any longer for our food to be remade. She offered us to-go boxes, although I wasn't sure how that would resolve the situation. I was disappointed as the first two things I asked for they said they were out of and then after asking for the second item the waitress told us they were transitioning from their summer to fall menu. They would be better off letting people know they were out of things upon sitting down and pulling their advertisements off the tables that are promoting their summer items they no longer have. Went on a Sunday morning and we were seated right away, the place is spacious even for the big crowds they get. Yet I still wait, My side of country sausage gravy arrived (odd that it was not a cream based gravy but it was ok yet very spicy (not mentioned in the menu). And I still wait for my smoked salmon eggs benedict. It finally arrives and I cut into it and the egg is hard cooked and the ciabatta roll was hard as a rock. I asked the waitress if I can get some soft cooked eggs. She said sure, I will take the plate and bring back the potatoes so you can eat something while you wait. Mean while my 2 guests were done with there food. My food finally arrived and the waitress said the manager was going to come over and talk to me. He came over and said he was talking off my Salmon Eggs Benedict. Then the waitress came over and gave each of us a $5.00 coupon for a future purchase.
