Husband and I stopped by this restaurant today. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted very friendly by this girl named Sandra,this made us very comfortable and knew that this was going to be a very good experience. After we sat down, Sandra asked for our drinks,she gave us many options to choose from, we decided to go with coffee and OJ. I was very happy when I found out she was going to be our server. She took our order and everything came out just the way we wanted. Food was delicious and my chicken fajita omelette was unbelievable the best omelette I had so far. Sandra was very professional, very attentive and most important you can see that she loves what she does. Sometimes I eat at IHOP for breakfast. Usually it takes around 20-30 minutes to be seated. Once your seated the server comes to you quickly and takes your order. Usually I order the Pancakes w/ coffee and they usually come out good. The prices are fair for a breakfast place. I'd say this IHOP would be the best IHOP that i've been to. read more

I'd like to say that Jacob is one of the best servers I've had, as soon as I walked through the front door, he had no hesitation at all to get me and couple of peers settled down in a booth. He did everything within fast momentum's and in great attitude. For a waiter working at such a late hour, he always approached everybody in the restaurant in a very positive way. I don't go to IHOP very often since they put the calories on the Menu. I mean, who wants their entire daily calorie intake at 10am? Anyway, I thought it would be a fun treat for my kids. They are both young, but I thought they would be able to handle waiting for the food. First I got seated by some dumb person I was not sure if he was the waiter or a busboy. Ended up being a waiter, should have been a busboy. He sat us at a really stupid place. It was a table for six or seven and we were barely three. Did not offer any booster seats or highchairs. Mumbled something about coffee, I said no. Walked away mumbling something... Came back after a good ten minutes, took drink order and never saw him again.. Yup... My young children were getting impatient, and hungry. I kept waiting, I even threw my hand up in the air to try to get his attention. No such luck. So after waiting FOREVER I had enough. I left. Very disappointing. Maybe if I was bilingual I would have had better luck at this place. Because obviously I was overlooked and not cared about. Everytime I go to IHOP in Glendale I get good customer service, but I recently went there at midnight the other day and our server Jacob gave me the best service yet. He made me felt welcome and you don't get alot of servers like that. If you go to IHOP at night I definitely recommend to request for Jacob! read more

Avoid this place at all costs. Worst service and experience ever. Myself and several others in my party gladly gave our waitress zero dollar tips. We waited an hour for our food, I only ordered an ice cream sundae and it took an hour, yes an hour, to bring it. Plus it took about forty-five minutes just to get water and the only time we got refills was after we had finished our meals. Our waitress, who was the laziest and dumbest waitress I've ever met didn't even come over to apologize for slow service or see if we needed anything. She didn't even tell us that we go to the cash register to get our checks and pay the bill and when our food and drinks finally came, instead of serving us she put the drinks and food on the table and had us pass it down to each other and we had to hand her our plates for her to clear it. And it wasn't even our party who walked out. This family came in and waited fifteen minutes for someone to greet them. They and another table walked out after the slow service. I don't know what idiot is training their staff but you may want to retrain them correctly. Especially for the outrageous prices. Not worth the price or wait. And when I finally got my sundae, half of it was melted. Skip this awful crap hole and go to Denny's. read more

I'm sorry to be negative, but I had a terrible experience yesterday that has been reported to the Health Department and IHOP Corporate Headquarters. Waiting for my breakfast order, the waitress delivered it to the gentleman across the isle from me. Returning to his table after he had eaten some of it, she informed him that he had the wrong order. He seemed to like it, but after some gentle but firm pressure for him to give up the plate and accept what he had originally ordered, he gave in. She took the plate that he had been eating, and walked right past the busboy station, where waste food is discarded. This raised concerns, so I went stealth, and followed her to the kitchen area, where she said a few things to the cooks. She then did a u-turn, and headed back toward my table, where she saw me in her path. Probably thinking that I was up because of my frustration at my order taking so long, she said: "I'm bringing your order right now" as she displayed the plate to me. I told her I saw someone eating from that plate, and that I feel extremely uncomfortable. She was speechless, and had that "busted" look on her face. I asked to speak with a manager, but quickly changed my mind, and said: "Uh... I'll just speak with the Health Department instead" as I walked out. My fear is that when we discover this kind of thing, it's often only the tip of the iceberg. I'm not really a germ freak, but I feel that this is completely inappropriate, and concerns me that other inappropriate things are taking place. read more

This is the worst IHOP I've ever been to by far. After ordering it took over an hour for the food to arrive. We like to come to this location because there is plenty of parking. The wait was not very long for a Sunday but the service at the table was very slow. I think we waited more for our food than we did to get seated. Our server, Jessica, took our order and we did not see her again until she gave us the check; Someone else brought us the food. We watched as the waitress for the table next to us check in on her guest three times meanwhile we were still waiting for our food wondering if our server forgot about us. read more

Ihop will never see my money again ! I decided to take my three year old out to breakfast after his basketball game for a treat . We literally sat down , I was almost finished with my plate and he was still working on his ,a good amount was still on the plate. We go to the restroom ( while not to mention when I asked where the restroom was , the waitress I asked seemed to be annoyed and pointed in the direction. "Over there " I come back to our table to find it's been cleaned off and our food thrown away. I ask my waitress what happened and she had thought we left . I do give her credit because she was going to make a batch up and send us out with one . By that time though I had basically felt like I was a burden having a child and being by myself with my son. Ihop apparently cares more about the quantity of people coming thru their doors as opposed to the quality of the service they dish out. I work in a restaurant and I would never clean a table that had been gone five minutes without checking if they had actually left .The manager did offer to take care of my bill and offered to give us food. I love IHOP pancakes and was craving them as I wasn't able to eat much of anything for 9 months of my pregnancy. We were seated immediately and our drink order and food order was taken in a timely fashion. Too bad our server disappeared when we requested refills and water. When she came to our table 20mins later she had a horrible attitude. She brought me my refill and water but didn't bring my mom's. My mom got up to get the manager. We got our appetizer with our meal and everything was cold. We sent stuff back to be recooked and the manager took off the price of our appetizer. It took us so long to get our meal that my 1mo. old baby woke up by the time we left and she usually sleeps 3-5 hours. If I want bad service I'll go here. From now on I will be avoiding this location as the service is bad, the managers don't care and the food I order always seems cold. I'll dine at mom and pop locations instead. read more

HORRIBLE in every way! Long wait at entrance to be seated, waiting for table to be cleaned,long wait at table to place order, waitress was ordering FOR us, then left by saying I'm behind, without taking our drink order. We had to go get her to complete our order, then she got mad us when we asked a question about the food. Guess what happened next? You're right! They got my order wrong! Had to wait a long time to GET the waitress back, to tell her that it's wrong THEN waited a while for the food to be brought except it was inedible, the vegetables smelled and were disgusting, the meat had so much fat and connective tissue that I was going to throw up, I had to spit it out in the napkin. The ranch dressing tasted like a combination of perfume and cleaner? Has the department of health been there lately? The utensils didn't look clean,and the only other time that I went there before and ordered a coffee, the waiter brought out a mug that had a bright red lipstick on it and he actually left pretending not to see it! What a horrible place to eat, it's actually dangerous! Now I know why at the end of the receipt they automatically write "On your next visit receive one free short stack of buttermilk pancakes when you complete our survey" They KNOW they're bad!! The food and coffee is great but in our last experience here we had another customer sit behind us and started playing a game on his phone and it was blasting! I tried to zone out the noise but it got really irritating, even my baby got upset at the loud game sounds. My husband went to talk to the manager and instead of going to the crazy man to tell him to quiet down, he just asked us if it's ok to move to another table. Well we moved and we finished our meal. Before we left we wanted to speak to the manager and tell him that his decision was not right because the crazy loud man is going to disrupt another customer. "Chuy" instead weaseled himself out of the problem and told us he didn't want to confront the guy and cause a problem. We told him that it's not restaurant etiquette. If a customer is causing a ruckus he/she should be asked to stop or leave the restaurant. Sadly we won't be coming back to this place. Chuy your managing skills suck. :/ read more

I went there today for the all you can eat pancakes with bacon and eggs. First it took 10 minutes for someone to come over and ask me if I was ready. I said yes. It wasn't my waitress, it was a Latin man in a red shirt. He then took my order on a piece of receipt. I finally saw my waitress attending to everyone in my row except me. She then pokes her head at my table and brings me my food which was cold (obviously she forgot about me). I asked for another "hot" plate and she came out two minutes later. While eating I got up and used the restroom (5 minutes). I came back and my table was clean! They cleared my table. I only had 1 and a half pancakes of the all you can eat and had only 1 of 4 strips of bacon and half of my scrambled eggs. I then said to my waitress why she cleared my table and she blamed it on a bus boy who doesn't speak English or so he pretended not to know English. She then said to sit down and she'll bring me another breakfast. I told her I had to go to work and wasted 45 minutes of my day for nothing. I will NEVER eat there again. i love this IHOP. the food at this location is better then another IHOP or Dennys in the area. you can tell the the cooks really know what they are doing. The over easy eggs always perfectly funny, bacon crisp but not too crispy, and the hash browns are never burnt. All in all its a great place to have a good late night meal. I was extremely unhappy with the last visit i had to ihop and most likely my last. it was a terrible experience from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. At first it was a bit busy which is understandable. But when i am waiting in line and someone goes ahead and writes there own name on the list with or without a hostess, there is something wrong. The manager seeing all this however does absolutly nothing when i tell him and his only reply is that its a 5 minute difference on the wait. Furthermore, after an hour and a half of waiting and witnessing ten different parties be called after us,we got irritated. The only reason according to ihop employees was because they were having difficulty seating five people. After all that they sat us down in a four person booth, it wasnt until they noticed we were furious about it that they decided to do something. Why did we wait an hour and a half to be seated at a four person booth?Furthermore service was terrible food came out way too late and cold to the point we all lost our appetites.
