    Burrata Toast

Hadn't been here in years and I'm so glad we finally had to chance to revisit. Menu had been updated since the last time and there were so many yummy options to choose from. First off you have to order and then choose your seat. They have tables outside and a few inside as well. There also aren't menus, just a QR code to scan. We ordered a variety of items including the ricotta French toast, breakfast bowl and burrata toast. Food comes out as they are prepared, something I'm not a fan of but I can deal with. Overall the food was really good. The burrata was probably my favorite from everything we ordered. The breakfast bowl was ok, I should have asked for the bacon to be crispy because it was soggy which I don't like. Drinks were also good, but they did mess up on our order. However, they did remake them for us. The rose matcha which I got was good, the sweetness was not overpowering. Would come back to try more items!

Another very deserving 5 star place from my 4 day LA trip. Things must be different down because when places are too focused on aesthetics and "pink" in Norcal, it's a bad sign. But Love You Latte must be decorated and made with more passion because this is a go to brunch spot! I got the Luxe Lox Crepe and a dirty rose latte. Both are so much more delicious than I could describe. I even tried my friends' plates and drinks and they were all so good! Super yummy brunch and kind staff! Definitely have to go here again.

Great café with very tasty coffee and a pleasant atmosphere. Everything was excellent. I will definitely come back again. Special thanks to our waitress Lydia -- she was very attentive, friendly, and professional. She made our visit even more enjoyable.

Love you latte is such a cute brunch spot, hidden in Glendale. At first glance you might miss it as it just looks like apartments/work offices. They do have a big sign that says Love you Latte which helps point them out. Parking is solely street parking and it's metered parking. It can get busy, but there's parking on neighboring streets as well. For brunch I had the Mozza Bello with chicken and a strawberry lemonade. Price wise it is a bit more on the expensive side as it was roughly $28 for both items. The sandwich was big and came with a nice side salad. The mozzarella gave that nice cheese pull and the pesto added depth of flavor. It was a nice sandwich overall and I would come back for it. The lemonade was good, it wasn't too tart or too sweet but it isn't an item I need to come back for. The staff was very welcoming and inviting. The lovely lady at the counter helped me choose my order and it was overall so yummy. I do wish they would've provided more napkins or checked up on us a bit more. Overall a cute little spot to come with your friends and enjoy a nice meal. Just remember to get there early to find parking!

The food, lattes, and ambiance are top-notch! The menu offers several standout options that really set this place apart from other brunch spots in the area. I ordered the El Jefe Bowl, my boyfriend had the Everything Hunk Bagel, and both were absolutely bomb. We also tried the Salted Butterscotch Latte and the Banana Cookie Butter Latte. If you're a true coffee connoisseur who prefers the taste of coffee over sweeter syrups, these drinks may not be for you, but overall, I'd still order them again. Kelvin took our order and brought out our food, and his service was excellent. He was attentive, friendly, and made the experience even better.

If I could give **Love You Latte** 10 stars, I would... and then I'd write them a love letter too. From the moment you walk in, it feels like you've been hugged by the smell of fresh espresso and baked happiness. The vibe? Cozy but cool. The kind of place where you (accidentally) spend three hours and consider moving in. Ask the amazing owner Taline, it happens ALL THE TIME! Let's talk about the coffee. LIFE. CHANGING. I don't know what kind of magic they're brewing back there, but every sip tastes like it was handcrafted by a caffeinated angel. Smooth, rich, perfectly balanced -- not bitter, not watery, just "where have you been all my life?" energy. If coffee had a personality, this one would text you good morning and mean it. And the food?? I was not emotionally prepared. Everything tastes fresh, thoughtful, and made with actual love (which, given the name, tracks). Whether you're in the mood for something sweet, savory, or "I deserve this after the week I've had," they've got you covered. I ordered one thing and immediately started planning my next three visits. But the real star? The service. The staff is so warm and genuinely kind it feels illegal. They remember your name, your order, and possibly your life story. It's the kind of hospitality that makes you want to tip 50% and bring them holiday gifts. In a world full of rushed drive-throughs and mediocre lattes, Love You Latte is a reminder that coffee can be an experience. A delicious, heartwarming, slightly addictive experience. 10/10. Would fall in love again.

10/10 Brunch Spot. I came back for my girlfriend's birthday and I was not disappointed. The food is great, the ambiance is beautiful, & the staff is always nice & friendly. I'd definitely recommend this spot to those in the area

The Black Cow Cafe has been part of my life since my college years, so when I came here now, it was always filled with nostalgia and a slowed pace over a calming meal. Opened in 1994 by a father and son, they embodied the community's "Main Street USA" vibe with a neighborhood diner where everyone knew each other, and you were served a soothing homemade meal during breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Did this cafe leave me with warm memories of the past, or did I cower from time's inevitable changes!? PURCHASE(S) Green Milan 16floz Drink ($7.95): My body needed something "green" and this sounded interesting. I thought it would be one of those health smoothies back in the 80s, but instead a frothy hazy light drink with a light grassy aroma and a middling leafy flavor. I didn't dislike it, but I wouldn't order it again. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&start=24&select=Uo_FrA9ezkxhIn4VnwEVtQ Vegetarian Omelette w/Country Potatoes & Sourdough Toast ($18.95): Made with avocado, cheddar cheese, mushrooms, Ortega chiles, pico de gallo, salsa ranchera, spinach, and topped with sour cream, an omelette was also on my eating bingo card. This smallish portion on the healthier side was packed with fresh goodness and fluffy eggs. The country potatoes were plentiful, nicely seasoned, but lacked the outer crisp I liked. The large sourdough toast with creamy butter and preserves rounded out the meal well. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&start=24&select=vDf51dNgOCoyIaPX_AOvrw Fish & Chips w/Coleslaw & Muffin ($17.95): Made with tempura fried Icelandic cod served with jalapeno tartar sauce, and Hawaiian coleslaw, the three fish pieces were crunchy, hot, and thick but needed more seasoning so the tarter sauce came in handy (no vinegar!). The coleslaw lacked much flavor and moisture, and the muffin was moist and warm. This one could've been better. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&start=24&select=dsLbeFauDvvnvXiA6IZhBA [ONION RINGS/STRAWS/STRINGS ALERT - 4.0 of 5.0 STARS] Substitute Onion Rings ($3.95): I replaced the french fries with these, a good side portion with many rings of different sizes, these were hot, dark golden browned, crunchy, and had a tendency to crumble when bitten into while the onion ring (not sweet Maui) pulled out at times. Everything arrived within ten minutes, and we were checked on periodically. All was good - thank you! PARKING (Varied: FREE this instance): I found a spot in the large public lot directly above the restaurant off of Florencita Dr. Otherwise, there were metered spots along the main drag of Honolulu Ave. and all surrounding side streets- 'nuff said. ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE A packed layout filled with tables inside and along the front sidewalk, the decor was as if grandmothers united and gave it a country farm house appeal https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&start=24&select=HWq31BkepPCR8uWcUf4Gtw with odds-and-ends and knickknacks. A minimal amount of natural lighting came in through the front glass windows and doors while a mix of recessed and track electric ceiling lights filled in the rest. There were no TVs nor could I recall any background music over all of the loud conversations. ATTIRE Totally casual, so I would normally be in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops. OVERALL It was nice to revisit The Black Cow Cafe, and hoped to return soon. The menu was packed, the food was good, the prices were comparable, and the service was busy but manageable. Plus, I always preferred to support small local mom & pop businesses. I found very good value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $69.00 BEFORE any discounts and/or tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice... AMEX! 4.0 STARS

We finally had the opportunity to go there for lunch yesterday and it was indeed fantastic! Such a lovely little place!! The food and service were both great. I ordered the Chicken Caesar Wrap and my husband had the LA Cheesesteak Sandwich. Both were delicious. The wrap was different because it was made with balsamic dressing rather than ranch and had croutons inside which gave it a crunch. The cheesesteak sandwich had nice flavor kick to it. The serving was very small - i feel like American portions are often obscenely large (and don't like that), but this was much smaller than average and I was still hungry after eating it. The flavor was ok, but nothing to write home about. And the shrimp were very small - what my husband and I call "bait" shrimp. Not the large shrimp you usually get at a nice restaurant. Since i was still hungry, I ordered a cobbler. It was fine, but not great. Texture was a bit strange - not traditional. Probably won't come back. The food is just not that interesting. It's like the kind of food you'd eat at a Midwestern buffet restaurant.

We thought he was a new employee because he had no clue what he was doing. He had NO personality no interest in general. When he first came to our table he didn't say hello or offer us appetizers or a cocktail. He asked for our dinner order. We ordered the fajita quesadilla and a combo plate. Daniel brought me the wrong taco; the taco was mostly lettuce and cheese very little meat ~ I was surprised because when I ordered this in the past it was excellent and done right (Not his fault tho he did write down my taco order incorrectly). He never came back to our table to check on us. When we were done we asked for a box because we had a lot of food left. He looked at it and brought us a tiny box. What was he thinking?? We asked the bus boy for another and he brought us the correct size. It was hard to get Daniels attention; we tried a few times to flag him down but he wasn't looking at us. We watched him a few different times throughout our time there, to see how he was with the other tables. We came to the conclusion that he looked like a fish out of water. Maybe he was overwhelmed even though the restaurant was a little more than half full last night at 5:30. Then he brought us our check while we were still eating! I told him I wanted to order dessert. Again, he had no clue what he was doing. I suggest the management take a look at this review and address this issue with him. Our experiences here have always been great, been coming for years. We love this place but we would never have Daniel as our server again.
