    BBQ Chicken Sandwich
    Rebekah M.

Decided to write a review because the BBQ chicken sandwich has always been one of my favorite sandwiches in LA. there's not a location near me, but I will drive out of my way to come get this. They did give me one today that was a little burnt, but I asked them to remake it, and they gladly did. The side sales are also always great

    Goat cheese chicken salad

This place went downhill. Such sad portions now. Barely any chicken anymore and the salad itself is a lot smaller than it used to be. This place has lost a loyal customer of over 5 years so sad

Just meat and cheese. Where is the rest of it?!?!

I just ordered from here on DoorDash and received the most pathetic sandwich of my life. I got a build your own sandwich and there were no toppings inside at all. Just meat and cheese??? There should be at least lettuce and tomato, and my drink was not included either. The price I'm paying for nearly everything to be neglected or forgotten is ridiculous. I will never order from this stone oven again, I'm so disappointed.

Spicy sandwich ! I added tomatoes lettuce and onion

Gourmet sandwich I think yes . Best food in the food court . They need more advertising I been going there for 3 years and just now noticed this deliciousness

SUPER HARD Bread, dry chicken and pasta

OK soooo....I was excited to see this location open since the Ontario location closed after Covid. 1st-they were NOT busy when I arrived, but didn't answer 2 phone calls to place a phone order...2nd-the sandwiches (BBQ Chicken & Chicken & Basil thingy) were DRYYYYY, both not enough sauces and old, dry, paper-like chicken. 3rd-the pasta was dry as well. 4th-the lettuce was literally dirty. *EASILY the most disappointing part of all is #5-the bread was burnt AND oily!!! What on EARTH HAPPENED to this place? I want my time & money back. I should have gone to Pietro's in Pasadena as planned.

    Garlic and Basil Chicken Sandwich

This place makes their bread fresh and it is so good! The garlic and basil chicken sandwich was tasty and light but also filling. Watermelon lemonade was good too! Got a side of salt and pepper kettle chips. Great customer service too. When asked for no cheese they offered to make a bread fresh since it usually has cheese baked into it. That took about 12 minutes. That was really nice of Salvador, thank you for going above and beyond to make our sandwich great!

Asian Chicken Salad (awesome) don't be fooled by the picture, the salads are pretty large!

I love their salads and strawberry lemonade. All of their salads come with focaccia bread that is SO soft and their portion sizes are giving. This place is always busy, but my orders come out fairly quickly. I've never had any problems and have always been helped by kind people. I recommend the ASIAN CHICKEN SALAD, so good. Great stop for lunch if you're at the mall!

Here I am with another edition of "Mall Rat Eatz" lol look at me pretending to be a food blogger haha. Anyways I've been to Stone Oven before and I enjoyed it cuz the Asian salad was good and so I decided to come back and try their Mediterranean Chicken Salad. I got Mediterranean and a side pasta salad which really looked appealing to the eye at least for me because I'm a sucker for bow tie pastas haha. The salad consisted of mixed greens, grilled chicken, Roma tomatoes, cucumbers, Kalmata olives, Spicy pita chips & feta cheese dressing. First off let me tell you I'm a fan of Mediterranean food when I saw this Mediterranean style salad I had to go for it. I mixed the dressing which had a great vinegar taste to it. Flavorful and strong and it mixed well with the salad. The spicy pita chips which looked like French fries lol was actually good. It added a nice crunch to the salad like croutons but pita chips. I will say it could use a bit more spice because I could not taste anything. Maybe because I love spicy food and couldn't taste it but it was lacking in the spicy department. The chicken was delicious! It was a cut up chicken breast which actually surprised me cuz it was pretty juicy for it and as you foodies know chicken breast usually are dry most of the time but this was juicy so it was delightful. The star of the salad show were the kalmata olives! It was so good! I'm not supposed to eat it cuz it's hella salty but I couldn't say no and it was a part of my salad haha. I will say this though I thought they were pitted whole and i bit into it and they still had the seeds. my left teeth are crying lol. I had the pasta next and man it did not disappoint! For the amount you got it was more than a side in my opinion it could of been a small meal on its own which tells me that this was a good deal for what it cost which was less than five dollars! The flavor of the pasta was great! I liked the fact that there was enough sauce to make it just under creamy. Not too saucy but not too dry at the same time it was just right! I enjoyed the bits and pieces of I think they were dried Roma tomatoes or some type of dried tomato. The service was good they ladies up front were helpful and of course the ambiance is what you usually get at a food court in the mall. Loud, good smelling food and a lot of happy eaters or at least I would hope they are! Overall my experience was good 4/5 stars to me! Just the only thing I wish is that the spicy pita chips were a bit spicier and that the olives were pitted I think I chipped a something jk hopefully not though But yeah I'll be coming back here for sure!

We've tried the Ian Glass (added protein) and the Larry Mantle, and a friend got the Terry Gross. We've also tried the sides Mr. Beans and the Aloha Pasta Salat. Everything has been so good and so fresh! My fav is the Ian Glass by far! It was so good and so filling. The price is pretty fair for a solid sandwich with good ingredients. Service is quick and easy, no frills. You stand in line, order, and then wait. You cannot and should not go back in line to check on the status of your order. When they're ready for you, you'll know. There are a few tables outside, so grab a seat and enjoy your sandwich! Tip: order online for pick up if you're short on time! But if you're really short on time, this probably isn't the place to go for you. Since we've biked here, I don't have any experience with street parking, but since it's in a residential area, it always looks full. So be aware of street parking! You may need to circle around a few times.

Calm, thoughtful, and somehow better because nobody is yelling at you. You take a bite and think, "This was researched." The ingredients make sense. The bread has integrity. Nothing is flashy, but everything works together -- like a tote bag full of flavor. Sometimes they sell out, which feels right. If they didn't, I'd worry they were sponsored by a mattress company. I ate the sandwich quietly and nodded, like I was agreeing with an interesting interview. More pickle please.

Out server Emily was a delight. So friendly and accommodating (and thanks again for the Baklava!) We had the lamb shwarma plate and the fried chicken plate, both with hummus. Also a side of the Za'atar/sumac fries. Fries came out first PIPING hot, crispy, seasoned perfectly nom nom. The entrees quickly followed. The lamb was so tender and juicy and bursting with flavor. And the fried chicken was AMAZING. Shwarma that is breaded with an amazing mixture and fried. Genius! The plates also came with hummus topped with whole chickpeas (YUM), dilled rice, a cabbage salad and other greens, grilled pita bread, olives and my personal favorite, pickled radishes. Many reviews describe them as beets (which I also love) but these are radishes and they pair so well with the rich meat. An umami bomb! Portions HUGE (we have a full meal waiting in the fridge) and prices very reasonable. Patio is a very fun hang with pretty lights. My only knock is on the chairs which are not exactly "comfy." But that's a trivial issue. Service was attentive and staff so friendly and helpful. I can't remember Emily's colleague's name but shout out to her and her Rasputin's shirt (yay Berkeley vibes.) It was getting late, so while I waited for the kid in the car at their activity, I went on The Heights website found an order form and placed an order for some sammies all in 5 minutes. I didn't even ask the hubs or the vegetarian kid what they wanted. I went with what I thought they'd like. 15-minutes later, I was picking the sandwiches up at the walk-in only shop. There was no line and better yet, they were wrapped up and ready to go when I walked in. The smiling lady asked if I wanted napkins or utensils. They have case after case of cold drinks so we picked out a couple of drinks, paid for those and left. It was easy and fast. Enjoyed the yumminess at home.
