Oh, I love Forage! Mostly for the bobo tree house vibe, and the veggie forward menu. The iced tea is also amazing. Sometimes the food is a bit salty, but otherwise full of healthy options (10 + kinds of salad and veggie dishes) with decedent choices, too (extra cheesy lasagna). It's a self service restaurant, but also expensive. You set your own table and pour your own water glasses. Dinner for two with beverages is easily $85 or more with tip. There are no refills on drinks like iced tea. The upside of it being self service, is you can hang out as long and chat as long as you like. There is good chance if you do linger that you might order desert or a second small $10 iced tea (with tax and tip). It would be quite easy to spend well over $100 for 2, without table service... If it were a little less expensive, I would be a regular... but if it were less expensive then it would be hard to find a table because that whole neighborhood would be hanging out here. read more

Beware! After paying $85 for a small dinner for two, I did the math with my husband at the table and realized we got charged more than the prices listed on the menu. The ordeal of asking the staff to verify this was oddly complicated. Finally the server said I was rung up as a DoorDash order and went through the process of refunding me the extra charges. After she did that I had to ask her to please adjust the tip as well to reflect 20% of the updated total. I thought it was in poor form not to automatically adjust it. In the end, we felt extremely disappointed and ripped off. They need to do some serious quality control on the food they're serving. The roasted carrots were inedible. Quiche crust is dense like water crust pastry rather than a flaky pie crust. Not my favorite. The quiche fillings are both very soft and custard-y. I liked the Lorraine the best of the two (the other was broccoli cheddar). The salad it is served with when you order it as a plate is nice. Lots of onion and cherry tomatoes, if you're into that. We also had the kale handpie and the breakfast sausage patties. My companion's comment was that the handpie tasted very "healthy" and somewhat bitter, but he is a bitter taste, so take that as you will. If you enjoy cooked kale, as a rule, you'll prob enjoy this! He liked the breakfast sausage - not too heavy on the sage and a very light meat flavor. We also ordered hot miso lattes and enjoyed them. They are only very lightly sweet, which was perfect for me. Not a very strong coffee flavor, but very nicely made, with silky foam and lovely latte art in a cup that was nice to hold. The indoor and outdoor spaces are both quite nice with solid wood tables. I bet that patio is lovely in the summer with the vines in their full glory. The pastry case had several pretty items in it, and the fresh beet and carrot salads of the day both looked delicious. Pricing was actually reasonable for this part of town and the kind of food they're serving in 2025. All staff we interacted with were very friendly and helpful. This place has a nice chill vibe. I love restaurants that just have a vibe that you don't find elsewhere. The food is excellent with lots of vegetable forward options. Outside seating is so fun. All of their coffees and teas are thoughtfully planned and delicious. Lasagna is really good! (I know, that's not the healthiest thing on the menu.). This is a cute hidden spot that's definitely worth a try! Parking can be a little rough especially with the construction but I did find some street parking. They have seating inside and outside, it was beautiful out so my friend and I opted to sit outside. You order inside and pick where to sit, the staff were welcoming and friendly. So I was looking for some organic and more healthier restaurant options and found this spot on Yelp. We we're able to get a parking space actually right in front. But it does look like limited parking. It's actually a very cute trendy spot. Feels like your in a cute treehouse restaurant. I used to come here all the time and then took a hiatus. Had not eaten all day and stopped in around 2PM. Everything looked great but I wanted something easy and asked the woman behind the counter for a rec between the fried chicken sandwich and burger. I've had the burger several times before and it was a thick medium rare patty. (First pic) What I got this time was a thin burnt patty with hard pieces in it. (2nd pic) Like a cheap grocery store patty that someone forgot about on the backyard grill. I was hungry and rushed so ate it/ but I couldn't believe how bad it was. Came here for an easy, casual saturday brunch with an outdoor patio to enjoy with our dog. I ordered the BLTA and a glass of Sauvignon Blanc. The BLTA was pretty good. Plenty of bacon and avocado which is good. I think they used a Japanese milk bread which is delicious however, I wish they toasted the bread a bit, but that is just a personal preference. The french fries were pretty standard and nothing to write home about. I could've done without. The wine was good but it was brought out much later than my food. I wish it was brought out earlier or at least at the same time so I could enjoy it with my food. Instead, I sat and waited for my wine to get to the table before enjoying my meal. When I got it, it was cooked medium and I usually like my steak medium rare. * 2 sides: Mac & cheese - was just okay. The large rigatoni pasta that they used was a bit over cooke for my taste. A tad over al dente. Beets & carrot salads - were marinated beautifully with some kind of vinegraitte dressings. Will get this again!! * Lemon Tart + meringue. The fries although those simple were super crispy and delicious. The BLT was a little bit of a miss. We didn't think it had enough toppings on it at all and definitely not enough bacon. There's both inside and outside dining, which is very charming. We parked on the street. I don't know if there's any lots nearby. This space is amazing, very unexpected from the street, when you go inside it's a lovely space adapted from a house, really nice patio area too, framed by passion fruit vines. Food is fantastic, I'm Vegan so had a selection of 3 side salads, beets and carrots, carrots in tahini sauce and curried cous cous, all really great. My dining partner had the salmon bowl, which they loved. This restaurant reminds me of a great restaurant in Dublin called Avoca cafe. You order at the counter where you can see the salads and some foods in front of you. If you're looking for something creative, fresh and tasty, in a great ambience, highly recommended. We finally stopped in during the lunch hour when it's been our go-to breakfast spot for so long- a local favorite for lunchtime reasons as well! I ordered the local seasonal tossed greens salad and quiche- it happened to be an arugula and kale mix with just the right balanced dressing and feta toss. The quiche was superb! A layer of cheddar first melted to the base layer of a flaky buttery crust, then the fluffy egg portion generously stacked. My date ordered the breakfast burrito, and remarked that he forgot how satisfying and plentiful the portions are.
