I celebrated my birthday here and the staff were so kind and welcoming! We waited shortly in the bar area which is pretty small. The ambiance is cute but it gets pretty loud in there. Then they walked us over to the outdoor patio which was perfect because we practically had the space to ourselves! The menu is small so we got at least 2 of almost everything & did family style (we had a party of 9) I believe their menus are seasonal, we got 6 pastas 2 Rigatoni 9/10 1Cacio e pepe 8/10 3 Tortellini 6/10 3 plates of steak 7/10 2 Caesar salads 10/10 2 sides of potatoes 8/10 3 breads 7/10 2 bottles of wine No stand outs really, but everything was good! I liked their selections of wines. I loved the vibe here and would definitely come back! Our bill came out to be about $650 and gratuity was included. The only issue I'd say is parking, thankfully for a Friday night I got lucky and had parking out front. But it's only street parking.

Lolo's is an upscale wine-cocktail garden-cave-scape populated by overly attentive servers straight out of the Materialists. Most suitable for patrons with disposable income who can appreciate light pours and mediocre food as set dressing for the atmosphere created by the dimmest lighting and the brickest of walls. In other words: does my burrata have to be 20 bucks? Like everyone else noted: 20% gratuity automatically added to the bill for everyone (the language they use is "for parties 2 and larger"). The wine itself was decent but still overselling what they offer here.

Bread and butter! Bread and butter! Lolo is exquisite hidden gem in east Hollywood area with exceptional wine list and somewhat intriguing food. Interior of this place is intimate at night time and it could be the ideal spot to spend time with your friends or partner! Service is elegant and not "annoying" as in the other places. Some appetizers I even searched with chat gpt to make it home by myself - they are tremendously amazing and delicious! I will visit this place again and again!

I love Lolo! Went down here for a wine night date and it was the perfect spot. Dimly lit lights and chill ambiance with ton of space at the bar or small tables with loveseats makes for the perfect experience. We sat on the open bar wide so servers were casual but very attentive. I also loved the range of wine, they had skin contact which is my favorite!

Cool little wine bar in the East Hollywood area. Food was pretty good but the desserts were spectacular! The vibes are all there. A lot of plants dimly lit restaurant vibe. Outdoor patio area is nice. Definitely great for a date night.

I've been to Lolo's multiple times throughout the past year and recommended it as my go to wine bar spot. However, I was shocked this time around because the already small portion sizes have shrank even more. When I ordered my steak (which had already risen in price), it came with two potato's split in half. which is INSANE to call it a 'side'. Our bill was almost $200 for three dishes and two glasses of wine because for a table of two, there was an automatic 20% gratuity added as well. We were still starving afterwards and the price did not justify the meal we had at ALL.

Food & wine were absolutely delicious! My favorite was the mushroom ravioli and the "skin contact" wine. Service was great, and the ambiance in the evening was cozy candlelit patio vibes. I'll be back to try the rest of the menu!

Gorgeous wine bar with great food! -- Atmosphere -- The parking is a little tough during the weekdays / traffic hours but you can find meter parking by Shakeys and walk a block. You need to walk through a black gate that's generally closed to enter the venue. Trust me, the inside is beautiful. This place is great for 2-4 people, there are small round tables for smaller groups but there's also a lounge area for larger groups. They have wine fridges in the back with a friendly Sommelier, she was super helpful and attentive when I was picking out the wine. -- The Wine -- They have a great selection of wine bottles and wine by the glass that range in different types (Sparkling, Orange, etc). Their wines range between $16-$18 by the glass, you can also get a bottle of wine to open (though there's corkage fee, this is standard). I ordered their sparkling on the menu and it was delicious, super refreshing and super unique, it was a natural wine. Everyone else at my table was pretty happy with their selections as well. -- The Food -- The menu there is made for shared / family style. We ordered: - 3 Appetizers to start, they were all very delicious but the memorable ones were the Crudo with Cherries (it wasn't fishy at all, the sweetness & crunch toppings really made this special) Burrata with Tomatoes (the burrata was fluffy and a completely different texture than what I'm used to, and it was absolutely amazing. It was lightly sweetened with honey & balsamic, and the tomatoes they used were to die for). - For the greens, we ordered the Zucchini and while it was delicious, I wished we also had ordered the Little Gem Salad. If you're a veggie eater, I would recommend ordering more here - For the main, we got a single dish of the mushroom pasta. It definitely was not filling for 4 people and we should've gotten at least another 1-2 mains. Overall, it was a great experience, food was great but you'd need to order a lot to really get full. Wine selection is amazing.

A candlelit dinner, a wine lounge and hummus served with grapes, are all found here. It was one of the best date nights I have had in a while. A beautiful secluded restaurant that features patio seating and a wonderful wine selection. I ordered the Brown Butter Hummus (this dish would be considered vegetarian for some) but I really wanted to try something different! So happy I did, the flavors had me melting in my seat, so so good! I've never experienced grapes with hummus before and now I can't think of a better combination. My main course was the Pomodoro Pasta, it was a chef's special since their other vegan option wasn't available at the time. The sauce itself was incredible, I'm a sauce girl so extra points for that lol. The whole dinner experience was truly lovely, hoping to visit again.

loooove! I've been wanting to try this place for awhile now. careful though you might miss it because it's a bit discrete. but when you get in there, babyyy it's adorable! sooo cute and intimate with an indoor and outdoor patio vibe and a lot of little nooks for private dining. the food was delightful. they know their pastas. we tried the Roasted Zucchini, Pickled Cucumber, Breadcrumbs, Salsa Verde; bread and butter, cacio e pepe and Rigatoni Pomodoro. we were there pretty early like the very first customers (it's first come first served) but our server was still super efficient, offered suggestions and gave us time to decide. everything was divine. will definitely come back!

Wowoweewaa I would consider our stop here as second dinner. We were in the Fashion District before the sunset to try wings at a new spot. We figured we would count that as appetizer. We ended up here after making a last minute detour after plan a fell through. My friend had this in her list of places to try and it happened to be the closest to where we were and where we were headed (home). So, a win. Fortunately for us, there was street parking. Score! I love when that works out. We got there looking a little lost. I blame the smokes that went down. I have a feeling the hostess found it amusing to see us struggle to open the door. Trust us, we were giggling the second we realized we just had to push. Short story long, this place is adorable. You would never guess the inside had the vibe it did. We started off with the bread & butter that let me tell you was just perfect. The crunch level was wow. We moved on to the prawns that had a hint of some type of herb that we didn't care for. We ended with the spaghetti limone which at first tasted too al dente, but after waiting a bit longer the succeeding bites got better and better. Overall, everything tasted great. So much so that all the plates were fully empty. We opted to hit up KTowm for dessert so I have something to look forward to for next time. The service was impeccable. I wish I got his name, but the guy with the braids who waited on us was amazing. At one point he scooped up some paper on the table like a ninja we kept trying to figure out exactly what he got. He always made sure we had water without us even asking. If anyone cares, this is exactly where you see people. KStew was a couple tables aways from us with her gf. 5 mins after she walked out, RPatz walked in with Suki. It was so L.A. I loved every second.

The list clearly favors organic and biodynamic producers, which I always appreciate--minimal intervention, letting the terroir and varietal speak without unnecessary manipulation. The flight format was flexible, offering around five selections with the option to choose three pours. I went with a sparkling red, an orange wine, and a white--each bringing its own personality to the table. The sparkling red was lively and slightly unconventional, the orange wine had that textured, skin-contact complexity, and the white rounded things out with a clean, expressive finish. Our server elevated the experience by guiding the tasting order, which made a noticeable difference in how each wine showed. It's always a good sign when the staff understands how to pace a flight rather than just drop it off and walk away. We didn't explore the food menu this time, so I can't speak to the full program, but purely from a wine perspective, it lands at a solid 4 stars for me. The space itself is ideal for a relaxed midday tasting--plenty of seating, with a great outdoor setup. The tall greenery creates a sense of privacy without feeling closed off, making it just as suitable for a casual date as it is for catching up with friends. Honestly, if you've got a flexible workday and don't need to be on camera, this is a pretty perfect spot to post up with a glass and ease into the afternoon.

My gal pal and I came here on a Friday evening for wine flights and bites, and it reminded me why this place has remained such a neighborhood staple over the years. The inside bar was completely packed, but we lucked out and snagged one of the little outdoor tables. We shared the tater tots and a charcuterie board, while my friend got the Croque Monsieur. Everything paired perfectly with the wine flight we ordered from a visiting winemaker from Spain. His name escapes me, but it was such a cool experience getting to hear him talk through each wine personally. Covell does a great job bringing in unique guest winemakers and making wine feel approachable and fun rather than intimidating. I also love that they occasionally host live music, comedy events, and other happenings -- it gives the space a warm, community vibe. Both items were fresh and I could not taste any fishiness. We also ordered the Mushroom Risotto and Cacio e Pepe. I thought the risotto was good, but the rice was definitely undercooked. I would have said something, but we didn't have much time left. The pasta reminded me of Mac n Cheese. I thought it was way too salty and didn't really do it for me. Grabbed the last table at Bar Etoile before sunset. What a nice neighborhood restaurant...an…read moreinteresting mix of items that can make anyone happy. I liked the skin contact wine they're serving now. Light, refreshing and some fun pear and apple notes with light floral finish. The New Fashioned tasted very much like an Old Fashioned. Damn...I thought the world went away, but there was a line straight out the door as late evening turned to night. With some folks giving up after using their wait time for drinks and snacks on the benches outside. Spring peas are excellent. That ricotta gremolata is just a nice dressing for the blanced snap peas. Caesar beef tartare Just darling how the bread is sliced into cubes to mimic croutons, so you can mix it all up and eat it like salad if you want. I wish the beef was seasoned a touch more. Lobster rillettes or lobster salad? Don't know and don't care...it's pretty tasty, but a touch more salt would make it even better. The super thin crepe is a nice surprise. Also got the steak frites...a cut that is sous vide before a hearty pan sear with au poivre sauce. Frites served separately to preserve crispness and an aioli. This is a case where the frites were a touch too salty for me. The chowpup did not notice and consumed with a gusto. I wasn't a fan of the crème caramel...the caramel was a touch over for me...just a little too bitter and the custard felt to airy and not vanilla or sweet enough to counter the caramel. They had just run out of the strawberry sorbet. Thanks to Brad for a nice evening!
