Since we were splitting it's a decent cost for two people but a bit steep if eating solo. Drink fridge has a nice selection of options and they serve the kettle chip brand of chips. The star of their sandwich is the bread. The turkey was average but hit the spot as we were starving. Nothing memorable and I wouldn't feel compelled to order it again. Persian pizza is always popular, you can see the local support for this small business is high. Perhaps I just haven't found the right menu item to become a raving fan. Will likely be by again as its location is convenient but wouldn't go out of my way to make it a point to eat here if there were other options available.

I spent the other half in LA (Westside and now Glendale) in search for the best Philly cheesesteak. All failed - to be fair, some got close but was quite drive from Glendale. After more than 2 decades, I found it - the closest to a Philly cheesesteak that LA has to offer. Calling out to all Philly transplants in the area that bleed Eagle's green, Phillie's red, Sixer's blue, Flyer's orange and all things Philly check it out. Aro, the founder, has tasted Philly's best - Pat's and Geno's - but also Jim's. He imports Amoroso bread and uses the right steak and mix of cheese, onions, mushrooms, and peppers. Enjoy! Go Birds!

I jokingly said - "let's get a beer" and it was in the morning! We walked to Big Mama's and YES there WAS BEER! You order on the kiosk and they make the order. I ordered a pint of beer (Pacifico) and sat down. Next thing you know, this nice lady is making a pitcher! uh oh. My wife noticed and I went up and told her that we ordered a pint. She said, oh, thanks for telling me and proceeded to make the pitcher! She put it down on our table and said the pitcher is "on me". Really? So NICE! Unfortunately I couldn't drink the entire pitcher with my wife since we had things to do, but I did leave a good tip for her - this place is so nice! I did see the big slices they can make. If I had known it was only 4 pieces, I would have ordered 1 lb instead. The delivery was on time, and the delivery driver was very polite. While I would recommend this place for pizza, I would not recommend it for wings.
