The pizza was good, not great. Pretty pricey. Crust is really thin. I substituted onions for black olives on their supreme pizza and they upcharged $1.50 for that. I also asked if they can do 2 flavors for their 2 pounds of wings and they said yes on the phone, however, they ended up charging me for (2) separate orders of 1 lb of wings which ended up costing me about an extra $10. Would have just got 1 flavor if I knew that was going to be the case. Felt like I got ripped off spending $100 for 2 medium pizza and wings.
A good pizza spot that satisfies both you tastebuds and foodie needs! The food itself is tasty and if you need just a slice or two, you're good to go! (Grab a milk tea next door and you got a legit foodie combo!). The service is always helpful and friendly. I always ask too many questions and they're always good at answering them. The ambiance is friendly. It's not a big spot but there are many seats outside with all the shared restaurants.

I can't say enough good things. The service is good the people are kind and the pizza is delicious. We will continue to travel the 42 miles to enjoy this spectacular place
I will be coming here until the day I die. When I have kids, this will be our family pizza night every week. I've tried almost every pizza here and they're all great. I haven't tried any sides so I can't speak to those, but from the pizzas, I don't think you can miss. Dough, ingredients, sauce, cheese - all top notch.
Rocky's Gourmet (!) Pizza (RGP) is right next door to the Starbucks spin off, Bux fast Pick up. Both are in the Crossroads center across the street from Glendale City College: and as such they get a lot of college students (per Alex who kindly allowed me to snap his photo so i could file it with this review) in for a quick pizza fix. Since it is early in the day (10ish am on a Saturday_ i was able to get the lowdown from the owners son, Alex who personally helped me with my selection: a small Veggie pizza and a (yum) fountain diet Diet coke. As you all know if you have read any reviews of mine of Pizza joints: the crust is the THING. The crust here at RGP is very good not great. And not great because it badly needs salt. That's the negative. The positives: and there are quite a few. The crust is well baked via a Conveyer Oven at about 500 degrees which produces a finely crusty piece of dough with a slight yeasty taste...which is a good thing. RGC just piles on the toppings and did so with my Veggie Pizza: onions, various veggies, tomatoes as well as a good amount of cheese and a oreganoy sauce. The owners here are from Iran and made Pizza there so there is a slight slant towards Iran in their Pizzas. I can go with that especially when it produces such a good product. (though as i noted...salt in the crust is an issue). RGP also has a full menu of Sammies with bread from Porto's: a local bakery known for its primo baked goods. The toppings are impressive as they are plentiful and fresh. The physical plant is super clean as is the bathroom. The floor is so clean you could easily eat off if it. There is a small counter on which to eat plus a slew of tables outside which RGP shares with the other joints in this center. Service-wise: Alex is a nice, personable guy whose knowledge about what this unit produces... is first rate. Oh, by the way: they sell Pizza by the slice which you don't see very often and which is probably a plus when the college students come in looking for a quick meal. Soft drinks only but makes sense with the college right across the street. I will be back. Cheers!

Quickly enough, I was up next with my order ready, small chit-chat with the possible manager/owner, and eagerly I went to get home and feast on these - all was good! PARKING (FREE) They shared a tight parking lot with several other businesses, I luckily found a spot. Otherwise there seemed to be some parking along the parallel drags of Canada Blvd. and Verdugo Rd. - 'nuff said. ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE Located directly across from Glendale Community College, this seemed primarily a takeout joint although pre-COVID-19 there was a small amount of space for a few tables and chairs which were removed at this time. I appreciated the clean and clear environment with an easily legible menu above up on the wall behind the order counter which was directly in front of you. There were some outdoor tables if you wanted to hang around. Plenty of natural lighting came in through the front glass windows and front doors while standard electric ceiling lights covered the rest. First off, the staff were super nice and down-to-earth The prices were great too. I've been to spots in LA and paid $8-10 for mediocre mid pizza I love the area that it's in as well-it's nice to just unwind and sit back and enjoy some pizza. Their pepperoni and Rocky's mix pizza slices were delicious but the thing that took the cake was the BBQ Chicken Deep Dish slices. The sauce and bread were superb and the toppings were a perfect amount. I usually hate deep dish but this one was a thinner style which I liked. 5/5 read more

Side note: because the Breakfast Pizza comes only 8" they will have to up charge you for any alternative crust. Soooo worth it though read more

HORRIBLE PIZZA .... HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. We called to ask about their deep dish and asked how deep because we really wanted deep. The lady seemed to not understand our question about how deep so she went and asked someone and came back and said 4 inches deep. So we put in a $80 order and IT IS NOT DEEP DISH AT ALL!! The food came cold and tasteless but then when we call the man that answered the phone 'Eddie?' Was rude as hell ! Actually called me a liar when I said pizza was cold ! And he told me that the woman that told me 4 inches was wrong but nothing he could do about it ?!? Maybe take it off my bill ?? Nope! He just didn't care at all! read more

Absolute gem of a pizza place. I'd give this place 10 stars if I could. The pizza here is very delicious and nostalgic. We tried their Persian style pizzas called Makhloot (Rocky's Mix Pizza) and Makhsoos (Rocky's Special Pizza). Specifically, their dough was perfect and the cheese was so fresh we could taste it. The lady helping us, her name was Edlin and she was so sweet. This place is right across from Glendale Community College and has of parking on the side. There is not a lot of seating inside but just outside their restaurant there is a patio area with lots of tables and chairs for outdoors seating. I would definitely recommend this place. read more

We ordered 2 large specialties: one being Makhloot and one being Makhsoos. They're both favorites of mine and my families. Rocky's is the only place that makes it fantastic. It's so flavorful and super thin. We can't pick which one is the best because they both are. Not only is Rocky's great at making amazing pizza but their sandwiches are pretty incredible too. We ordered 3 mortadella sandwiches and 4 hot dog sandwiches and WOW. They were so juicy and tender while the bread was toasted and semi crunchy. Just the best!! We love coming here and they also deliver too which is great. read more

today I decided to order my usual pizzas but this time from Rockys I am very disappointed first of all I didn't ask for thin crust they made their own choice without asking I gave 2 star only for one of the pizza was not bad but Margarita and barbeque Pizza was awful totally wrong and strange taste and the price WOW 3 pizza 97 $ went directly in to the trash we couldn't eat I will attach photos FYI .same pizzas I order from ameci cost 62 $ ameci margarita and barbeque pizza are delicious even some times I order extra for next day most of the time my orders from ameci pizza or milas pizza and some times from stone oven pizza they are the best I was working at Italian Pizza place 24 years ago I know about pizzas and pastas. read more
I have a favorite pizza spot in Solvang and this place reminds me of it! Their pizzas are amazing!!! I also love their salads! Can't go wrong with getting pizza from here!! The portions are great! Large size is perfect for two people! read more

Visited my tia in Glendale. I was craving some pizza and she suggested Rocky's which was down the street. I ordered for pick up and called about an hour before they closed. I was very content with the pizza. We ordered deep dish pizza with sausage & pepperoni and the other half with pineapple & Canadian bacon it was super delicious. And their customer service was excellent. Cashier was super nice. They didn't look bothered since I ordered right before closing. I definitely will be coming back here if I'm in Glendale. read more

Simply amazing! Quality, clean, and full of flavor. We used to order from big names until we found out about Rocky's. I would reccomend their Makhloot. In fact, we ordered the Makhloot after our MMA friend Gegard Mousasi after he won the championship belt and he loved it. read more

Thankfully they're doing to go right now during this covid craziness. Picked up a chicken and pineapple pizza with extra cheese and omg it was so good we couldn't wait to get home to eat we ate half in the car! It was my first time having it per a friends recommendation. read more
