Boneless chicken, half original and half soy sauce - comes with random pieces of French fries and gyoza (potsticker)

I love supporting mom and pop shops and this place is so deserving of a good review. The owners are so funny, engaging and service oriented. We didn't have to ask for anything- they knew when to bring us a Togo boxes, extra napkins, etc. Service went truly above and beyond. We ordered a lot for the just the two of us but our leftovers made for excellent meals the next day. Orders are made fresh. The pizza uses good quality cheese, and came with a little bit of everything- olives, bell peppers, ham, sausage, bacon, mushrooms and the sweet potato filled cheesy crust was chefs kiss. The chicken was crispy and big meaty portions. We would love to come back when we are in the area again. The restaurant is casual with large dining tables, tv screens to watch sports. I also saw a coffee shop inside and a flower shop! Super nice owners and excellent food.

Amazing holiday atmosphere

We stopped here after our day at Descanso Garden with our 1 year old, and oh my god what a lucky find!!!! We walk in and are greeted by the friendliest man, who immediately acknowledged our baby boy and got him smiling. The restaurant atmosphere is small-town vibes in the best way. It was decorated for Christmas and our son had a blast running around playing (the owners got a kick out of him, which makes this place beyond family friendly!)! We ordered potato pizza, the house pizza, a side of sweet and spicy wings, and the sweet potato cheesy bread sticks. All I can say is, we were blown away. The combination of flavors on the potato pizza is seriously incredible - that is officially my favorite pizza of all time. The flavor profiles are so unique... it's like the last truly creative pizza in LA. Our boy loved the potato pizza and cheesy bread, which made our night easier. The WINGS!!! I was pleasantly surprised that they were actually pretty spicy - great flavor and they were crispy. Everything I want in a sweet and spicy wing. If we could rate Hello Pizza higher we would. Bonus: one of the owners took down a Sonic the Hedgehog mascot head and let our boy play with it while we waited. Seriously, this is the vibe we want in a small, hometown pizza joint,

The Korean Sweet & Spicy wings are tooo die for!! We ordered 15 and it wasn't enough we ended up ordering 16 more! The buffalo wings are great also! These are THE BEST wings we have ever had! The house salad was delicious! The pizza ooohh the pizza! The Italian Job is for us garlic lovers! The regular pepperoni, is not just regular, it's delicious! The Hawaiian with The Golden sweet potato crush, must eat backwards! Crust first! Everything was fresh, delicious and tasty! We will definitely be back for more! Thank you so much for an awesome lunch! Our host was awesomely funny!

Found this nice Korean-inspired pizza place in La Cañada Flintridge....their bulgogi pizza was amazing!! I'm told that you have the option of doing a half-and-half (i.e., half Bulgogi, Half Kimchi). The ambiance is really nice too, with K-pop music blaring on the speakers. There's even a flower shop. Also, great friendly service from the owner, Danny....thank you!! More visits to come!!! 정말 감사합니다~~. 또 올게요~~

I got an email from them telling me they will be giving me a refund even though they told me over the phone they couldn't so I could remove my review lol well here's ANOTHER review for you :) they sent me a threatening email saying I should remove my review because they have a recording of my conversation with the manager apparently being racist which is completely 100% false. Did I cuss out the manager? Absolutely because it was deserved. Did I ever say anything racist? NEVER. Keep your threats to yourself. How dare you?? What a terrible look for a business. Now we know the type of people that run this place.

Whenever we are in this area we always stop by to see Danny. He is a very hard working owner. He takes pride of his business and has the best personality. The Korean pizza and chicken is good too. You won't find a better Korean pizza in this area. Always get the Gold anything the sweet potato crust is amazing. they have good lunch specials but I wish I can try more menu items everything looks so good. Thank you for always taking care of us Danny!

When I tried pizza in Korea, I wasn't a huge fan. I loved the interesting flavors and I really loved when they incorporate sweet potato into the pizza. However, the way they did their dough was not pleasant. It was extremely soft and pillowy. As a pastry, that sounds lovely but as a pizza, not so much. Then comes Hello Pizza with the best of both worlds: the Korean twist/flavors with the American crust! We LOVED it! We got the Golden Potato pizza, which is their most popular pizza. It had ground beef, bacon, corn, and cheese. Their crust is stuffed with sweet potato mousse and oh my gosh, it was absolutely delicious. The textures were great, the flavors were fantastic -- even though we weren't hungry, we ate a lot! I loved the sweet potato! The whole pizza was the definitely of sweet and savory! We also got the Gold Cheese Stick, which is their version of bread sticks with cheese and sweet potato mousse. It comes with a garlic dipping sauce that is slightly sweet and complimented it perfectly! You can get the garlic sauce on its own too so be sure to grab some to dip your pizza in! It's definitely a must get! It's a bit unfortunate that they weren't allowing dine ins when we went so we had to get it to go and eat it at our hotel. Service was good! Everyone was friendly! Would absolutely recommend and would definitely come again. It's a bit far from where we normally stay but worth it. We're planning another short SoCal trip soon and Hello Pizza is already on our list of places to go to!

Definitely a great restaurant if you're craving Korean soups - I got the Galbitang and it definitely hit the spot. We also got the bossam which was great for sharing among the group and just a perfect mix of flavors and textures. Side dishes included kimchi, pickled daikon, and fish cakes. Outside there's many plants that make walking in very welcoming. The food may be for some people, but not for me. I ordered 6 on the menu which I expected to be extremely flavorful based on its appearance, but it tasted very plain to me. I did order a more simple item on the menu compared to others, so I guess I should have expected that. My family enjoyed theirs which is good. There are plenty of other options, but they are mostly spicy; however, the side dishes are amazing! The cost is a bit pricy, but if you like it, it's worth it. This was an overall pretty good experience, and would recommend; just make sure you're a fan of this kind of food.

I LOVE TOFU SOUP!…read more this place was quite busy when we walked in but we were seated immediately. parking was pretty narrow and limited in the adjacent spots but there were so many people i think they just park on the streets and walk, it's not very far. ambiance is cool they had an aquarium for me to stare at. i really liked the both of my beef tofu soup. it was served with purple rice which was pretty cool. we also ordered the rice cakes with ramen noodles and that was actually pretty spicy, spicer than my medium-level spice broth. but super good! the chicken in the combo was delicious and sizzling as well. overall i don't really have anything negative to say. servers were attentive and were more than accommodating to replace one of our items when the lid of the vinegar dispenser flew off and turned my friends cold noodles into vinegar soup essentially. big fan!

I LOVE TOFU SOUP!!!…read more got the beef tofu soup and it was deliciousss. one of our group had burnt rice but the staff were quick to replace it. the spicy cucumber here is so good i ate like 2 plates honestly. i will say is that the spice scale isn't super accurate. i am pretty bad with spice so i got a mild and it was just ... alright... i feel like i was missing a lot of the flavor, not just heat level. my friends who got medium and spicy let me try their soups and they were way better and honestly not that much spicier. so i would say give a higher spice level a try if you want more flavor in your broth. we also ordered a bottle of soju to share and some of the spicy chicken. those were good too!

This place is basic, nothing fancy and there's really no ambiance or special feelings associated with it - it's just an old-looking sit-down and serve establishment. The few people sitting to eat were random; I was there to order to-go. After asking what was the patrons favorite dish(es) the lady quickly pointed out the most expensive items on the menu. Of course she did. My eyes rolled but I was polite and decided to order something I recognized and wouldn't hate myself for in the morning. Chicken Teriyaki Can of coke My bill came to $34.23 Ahem! What? Why does a plate of Chicken Teriyaki cost so much? And why $3 for a can of coke? I just cannot wrap my head around it. This isn't a fancy restaurant at all! In fact, it's as basic as it gets with no ambiance or warmth. I cannot recommend this place at all. The food was pretty poor and nowhere near on par with classy eats that try to reach that $$ figure. Montrose is certainly a place where there are people with money and no taste...looking for reasons to spend it willy-nilly. I thought I took a photo of the plate when I got home. Guess not. Avoid if you aren't made of money and prefer well-prepared meals, not quick, mushy fast-foodish stuff.

I love that they gave a combination of white and dark meat, I was worried it would all be wings and it was well portioned. I enjoyed having a little salad with the fried chicken pieces and rice. The sauce was light and gently sweet, a very complimentary dip to the light crispy crunch of the breaded wings. Korean fried chicken cravings definitely happen and its good to have one in the foothills. We just happened to be in the same plaza shopping at the market nearby when we first noticed it. We've gotten the original fried chicken wings, original fried chicken drumsticks, sweet and spicy wings and the spicy garlic wings. I've found that the original and sweet & spicy are the 2 flavors I like best for wings. The drumsticks are a little too filling and I'm really in it for the wings. The flavor of the original fried is good and the crunch is even better. 10 pieces of these wings is $15.49 while 10 pieces of the sweet & spicy wings or the spicy garlic is $15.99. The spicy garlic was a little too strong for me. I needed to eat that with a good amount of rice. The sweet & spicy is good on its own. The flavor was not too overpowering. The double fried nature of these wings make for an extra crunch which we all look for... That's always good. We also typically get the pickled radish as a side but at times that is even too strong. Located on Foothill Blvd in the same plaza as Seoul Market and directly next to Sakana Sushi. Parking is in the shared lot or along Foothill. Service the times we ordered in-person was friendly. It seemed like a family run business. Signage out front doesnt really let you know that it's a Korean fried chicken spot. When we first parked in front of Chicken Day while headed to Seoul Market, I did a double take in wondering what type of chicken shop it was.
