Meat Lovers Pizza Pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, salami, ham, Italian sausage, American bacon.

General: My friend and I were looking for gluten free dinner options that were open a bit later in the Glendale area when I stumbled upon this pizza place on yelp. My friend was a bit hesitant to try it since a lot of reviews were older and there was no menu, but we decided to give it a chance. Good thing we did! Menu is available online and that's where we ordered as well. Super easy process. We decided on the Large 16" 8 Slices meat lovers pizza with gluten free crust (ancient grains). The large meat lovers pizza was $31.52 but with the gluten free crust added an additional $6. It was $37.52 NOT including tax. Total came out to be $41.46 including tax. Food: The meat lovers pizza was absolutely delicious. Meat Lovers Pizza included pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, salami, ham, Italian sausage, and American bacon. am not gluten free and I was a bit apprehensive since sometimes the gf version of stuff isn't good but I was pleasantly surprised. My friend also really enjoyed it. Service: service was great. Online ordering was easy and convenient. It emails you when you first order and then sends another email that they're working on your pizza and the approximate time it'll be ready. We went to go pick it up and the gentleman asked for our name and grabbed it for us. He also gave us a small paper bag with paper plates, utensils, and napkins. Ambiance: ambiance is a chill pizza place. It's not very big and there's a couple booths. Good place for small fmilies or friends or casual date nights, but not for super large parties. Parking was easy but we went at about 9 PM and according to their hours they close at 9:30 PM. They did have designated pizza boy spots in the lot tho! Overall, my friend and I enjoyed this spot and would definitely come again for some gluten free pizza! My friend was also appreciative with all the gluten free options and I did notice on the pizza box it was stamped all over.

Good pizza with lots of options for dietary restrictions. We stopped here for a super quick bite and had a good experience. Excellent Service.

    Calzone to-go box

Oh my! An absolute gluten-free paradise. I cannot believe I barely discovered this place yesterday. The GF calzone is the fluffiest (!!!) dough ever. My wife couldn't tell the difference from regular dough (she's the regular one; I'm the defective one, haha). The GF garlic knots are also so incredibly fluffy! Be warned: the garlic on these suckers is very authentic and not to be reckoned with. It's delicious but it will put some chest on your hair The marinara is very flavorful! Ingredients were all very high quality! We were promptly attended to by several of the staff/owners. They were very kind and attentive. Restrooms were well cared for and clean. They really seem to take seriously their gluten-free offerings and handling. It's part of their business model, not just a one-off gimmick to seem trendy. This is going on my gluten-free restaurant list that I will regularly patronize. Can't wait to try the other gluten-free apps and desserts and 8 (!!!) different GF pizza crusts. Thank you, Pizza Boy(s). Please don't ever go out of business.

    Amazing Garlic cheese bread
    Lucy T.

This is the best gf cheese bread I have had! The bread was fluffy, crunchy on the outside and most in the middle! The cheese and garlic on top had the most perfect consistency and flavor! The chocolate cake is flourless which is perfect! It's rich and has the taste of perfect dark chocolate! The service was great! I asked about gf items and he told me his list! The ambiance is cute and quiet! I recommend you try this place!

3.5. Decided to try this place out since it was vegan. The guy at the register, didn't offer to help or ask if we had any questions. Ordered the avocado pizza on sweet potato crust and the spinach pizza on a almond flour crust. The crusts should have been swapped and I think the pizzas would have tasted better. There was no sauce on any of the pizzas which made it taste a little dry but eating it with ranch did help. Liked the crusts though - never even knew these options existed. They have a decent parking lot or you can park on the street.

    gluten free garlic knots!
    Rei R.

I'm pretty sure Pizza Boy's gluten free garlic knots changed the trajectory of my life. I don't think I've ever been able to have a garlic knot prior to today? I'm a lifelong celiac, and this is the closest thing to the real deal. We got pizzas too and they offered what felt like unlimited choices. So many crust options, so many different pizza varieties. All perfectly fluffy with a slight crunch. My partner who isn't gluten free and is a cook was also so impressed with the quality of gluten free pizza here. This is Celiac Heaven!

It's like a cheesy hot pocket but a million times better!!!! Must try! Ughhh. ..I'm addicted!

Hi are you open I'm calling no one is answering? I've waited since 9 since your opening 9:30am no one is answering its 9:43?

    orders are online only!

Do you use a separate oven for gluten-free pizza?

I have celiac and I'm really sensitive. This place knows what they're doing with gf. I've only had the gf flour crust, none of the alternatives.

What vegan cheese do they use?

    Follow Your Heart!

Hi are you guys open now? No one has been answering the phones?

    Yes open!!

What are the ingredients in the cauliflower crust?

I just spoke with the manager today and he said flax and water (like a flax egg) plus cauliflower. The flax will make it crispy. I know it seems hard to imagine there are only 3 ingredients. It’s soooo good!

WHEN: Tue @7pm…read more Located in a small plaza, while there is free parking, it's also quite limited with it being share with other business establishments. However, since we came at night time where most of them were closed, we got parking right in front. This spot is more of a take-away place, with 6 counter seatings indoors, and maybe 3 chairs right out front. This tiny burger spot seems to be run by just one person, so it helps that you can self-order at their kiosk. He was very attentive juggling between cooking the made-to order items, and check in on the costumers in case they had questions. After placing my order at their one device, it was roughly a 15 minutes wait. Here's what we ordered: CHEESEBURGER - $9.90 High-quality beef patty smashed with grilled onions, serviced on a toasted Martin's potato bun and topped with pickles and their fry sauce. I really enjoyed this rich tasting burger. I think that fry sauce was a huge factor...but also that soft bun...and that flavorful beef patty. I really enjoyed this. FRIES - $5.25 Golden Thing-Cut Fries. Perfect. I mean this was made to order so they were warm, crispy and so dang good! It's how fries everywhere should be! I was hoping to come back during my trip in LA, but it's okay, it won't be the last time I visit.

The crispy lace edges, the juicy center, the grilled onion, the slightly spicy sauce, the slightly sweet bun...all dreamworthy! Their sweet potato fries aren't all that great to look at, but omg, always perfectly cooked and salted! Perfectly complimented with the fry sauce. All that said, we were disappointed when we received our last order: 1. Packaging change (paper wrapped instead of cardboard box for the burgers) robbed the craveable edges of their crispness. Plus there was so much grease on the paper wraps it actually made it messier to eat than before. 2. The sauce has changed. The spice level increased (still not too spicy), but a side of sauce (which you pay more than a $1 for) is now sent in a premade branded packet. I have zero issues paying extra for a good sauce made fresh in-house, but instead of tasting like a fresh sauce made with mayo and spices, it now tastes of oil and spices and is not nearly as tasty. We noticed the difference on the burgers as well, so it seems like their sauce is all premade now and not nearly as good.

The Black Cow Cafe has been part of my life since my college years, so when I came here now, it was always filled with nostalgia and a slowed pace over a calming meal.
