My neighbor recommended this place while we were heading home from Glendale. We ordered the Masoos pizza. It was perfect! Filled with meat and veggies. Additionally, there were no spots available for parking (the only downside), but the employees recognized us and brought us our order, so we weren't blocking traffic. Slash Pizza went above and beyond!

Let me start with staff and the owner who are were friendly , nice and professional to the point that my 6 year load daughter loves to come here ( she love the treats and off course the pizza ). I drive almost 30 miles every week to this place just for the Persian pizza even dough everything here is amazing but pizza is in another level , certainly I can say is one of the best pizza in united state. I believe I'm very lucky that we have this pizza place almost nearby.

Slash Pizza puts together a really good pie. On this visit, I settled on the " Slash Special " and it didn't disappoint. The undercarriage had a perfectly browned crispy crust and despite all the toppings, the slices had limited flop. The toppings were spread out evenly and the cheese had a nice stretch. Slash Pizza has plenty of menu options, including wings, sandwiches and salads. They also have plenty of specials for pick-up and delivery. There is a few tables setup on the inside one table on the outside. The place is clean and the young lady at the register was very polite and brought my pizza outside, where I was waiting. Slash pizza is in a shared parking lot with other businesses and gets full quick . I recommend just parking on the street.

Don't let the size of this place fool you--this small neighborhood spot serves some seriously amazing food. We ordered the Persian-style pizza and the Philly cheesesteak sandwich, and both were absolutely delicious. The pizza had that unique Persian-style flavor that many of us grew up with, loaded with toppings and perfectly satisfying. The Philly cheesesteak was equally impressive, packed with flavor and made with quality ingredients. This isn't a fancy restaurant with lots of seating, but that's not why you come here. You come for the food--and it delivers every single time. If you're craving authentic Persian-style pizza or a great sandwich, I highly recommend trying both the pizza and the Philly cheesesteak. This place is one of my favorite fast food joints , the staff are friendly, the food is delicious, and they have options for everyone! I usually grab it to go, but they've got a nice spot to chill if you wanna dine in. If I'm in a pinch and need a quick bite, this is my number one go to. I heard about Slash Pizza from a friend who spoke really highly of it, so I decided to give it a try for my daughter's birthday party. I ordered a bunch of pizzas, and everything turned out perfect. The delivery was right on time, the food arrived piping hot, and everyone at the party loved it. What impressed me most was their service. I called about 30 minutes before delivery to completely change my order because a few extra guests showed up, and they handled it without any hesitation. They even accommodated my special requests and made sure everything was exactly how I wanted it. Honestly, it's the best Makhloot pizza I've had in Los Angeles. Looking for Iranian style pizza and this is the only place in the town where is providing the lots of variety of persian style pizzas. We ordered two medium pizzas for two adults and we just finished one pizza and one left which we brought home. These pizzas are not American styles, it comes with lots of toppings (you can ask for easy toppings). Instead of marinara sauce, ketchup is the main sauce for persian pizzas. read more

I have been a regular of Slash pizza for a while and I know the staff. Basically, all the latest 1-star reviews are coming from the person and his relatives who got laid off. He's just "taking a revenge" by asking all his buddies to leave bogus 1-star reviews on this business to hurt the business reputation. If you read this, then be sure that Slash pizza is one of the finest pizza shops in town. Order a pizza yourself and you'll see what you get. To the guy who's running this 1-star campaign: move on with your life and stop that child-like behavior. read more

I'm not Italian, but pizza was probably that formula in my baby bottles. And Margarita is better than Margherita to me... Because Margarita's made with garlic. Garlic's great for strengthening the body (to fight pandemic cooties to say the least). Garlic breathe's that acceptable scent these days. So, they're two completely different pizzas. I ordered a small pizza pie and diet drinks from Slash Pizza on DoorDash because they gave me 20% Off the bill. I could have gone larger, but can't handle pizza for every meal anymore. My savings on a late-late-dinner paid the delivery guy. Save here, spend there. I recommend Slash Pizza because it's local from the Glendale-side of town and a top choice on my DoorDash APP tonight. Plenty people hangout there and not because of the liquor store next door. They make great Italian-Armenian-Iranian-American food. Be a bit liberal with your pizza choice(s). read more

I used to be a regular customer of this restaurant for years until the new management took over. The new management raised the prices over 200% since they took over less than a year ago. I called for a delivery and they stated "we don't deliver, you can pick it up". How do you run a pizza shop without delivery? Called another competitor few blocks down and they delivered my pizza at a lower price with no issues. AVOID!!! read more

This has been my goto place for 10 years until recently. The prices have gone sky high and the quality is lower than low! The last time we ordered for delivery, our pizza arrived cold, the crust was way too thin and it was dried out and awful. We called to let them know we were VERY disappointed, but the man only got defensive. I'm reading other reviews where it says there is new ownership. Makes sense now. We will not spend almost $40 on a medium terrible pizza here again. Such a shame. read more

Here's a strong version that focuses on the service, the attitude, and the quality of the…read morereplacement without sounding exaggerated: I rarely, if ever, write negative reviews, but after being a customer of this location since the late 1980s, I think I've finally reached the point where nostalgia has kept me coming back longer than I should have. I recently went in and ordered a Philly cheesesteak over the counter. I waited patiently, tipped well, and about 20 minutes later an employee looked me directly in the eye, handed me a sandwich, and told me my order was ready. I got home, opened the sandwich, and found a turkey sandwich. Completely different order. I immediately called the store and explained what happened. Instead of an apology, I was told I needed to bring the sandwich back and that the entire sandwich needed to be there. Of course the entire sandwich was there. I hadn't touched it. I was also told they would start making my correct sandwich while I drove back. When I returned, the person I spoke with, who appeared to be a supervisor, manager, or owner, told me, "You must have taken the wrong sandwich." No. Your employee handed me the wrong sandwich and told me it was mine. When I explained that, the response was essentially, "Well, I was on break, so I don't know." That attitude bothered me far more than the original mistake. Mistakes happen. Handing someone the wrong sandwich is an easy mistake to forgive. What isn't so easy to overlook is treating the customer as though the mistake was somehow their fault, requiring them to drive all the way back, and showing virtually no apology or concern for wasting their time. Then came the replacement sandwich. The original cheesesteak I watched them prepare went through the pizza oven. The replacement did not. They also used American cheese instead of the cheese I ordered, and the sandwich was noticeably underbuilt, with very little meat, as shown in my photo. After the interaction I had just experienced, it was difficult not to view the replacement as passive-aggressive. What should have been simple was, "We're sorry. We handed you the wrong sandwich. We'll make this right." Instead, I felt accused, inconvenienced, and then handed a lesser sandwich as though they were doing me a favor. I've been coming here since the previous owners, going back to the late 1980s. Unfortunately, this also isn't the first time recently that I've received substandard service or a substandard product. At some point you have to stop judging a place by what it used to be and judge it by what it is today. For me, this experience did exactly that. I'd keep the photo of the underbuilt cheesesteak attached. It supports the part of the review people might otherwise dismiss as subjective.

In the meantime we decided to take a look what there was around to go eat in the meantime. What caught our attention when looking online was the Bugolgi Pizza. We decided to head out there and try it out. We arrived and the shop was very clean. We were greeted with smiles on their faces. Once we sat we looked over the menu and decided what we were going to order. We ordered a Bugolgi Pizza and Korean Style Fried Chicken. ( We ate it before we thought about taking a picture lol.) The food was delicious, very good and presentable. The Bugolgi pizza toppings were the Bugolgi Beef, onions and green bell peppers. Absolutely like no other. There's no other place that we know of that has Bugolgi on pizza. The order of the Korean Style Fried Chicken (we got plain because of our daughter) . Our basket had some potato wedges, some deep fried dumplings, and the chicken. We also got some I believe radish side, ketchup and ranch. Everything in that basket stars! It was so good. We all enjoyed our meal. To top everything off. My fiancé and I were so amazed at their customer service. They pay attention to their clients, they want you to be satisfied. I played their claw machine and they hinted the best way to win a prize on it. They saw we needed an extra plate and they brought it out without asking. My fiancé was the one who was able to win a prize from the claw machine. Shortly after when, one of the employees ( I'm not sure if owner) blew up a little heart balloon and attracted it to the plushie for our daughter. The inside of the crust contains sweet potato mousse, which adds a slight sweetness to the palate. The combination works well. 2. The bulk sauce is a Korean sweet and spicy sauce that kind of resembles BBQ sauce. We felt that the sweetness of the sauce overpowered everything, including the spicy part. The chicken was also too dry. I did like the stuffed cheese crust though as it had a decently cheesiness to it. It was good to try, but we will skip it next time. 3. Bulgogi Taco Pizza (5/5) What is there not to like about bulgogi and taco, let alone, in pizza form? The toppings are Korean marinated BBQ beef, chopped red onions, cilantro, and hot taco sauce. It was pleasantly savory and packed with flavor that's truly reminiscent of street tacos. 4. Potato Gold Pizza (5/5) If you are hungry and looking for a carb-heavy, yet satisfying bite, this is the pizza to get. It has tomato sauce base, topped with cheddar cheese, ground beef, strips of bacon, corn, onion, mushroom, sour cream and a slice of potato wedge on each slice of pizza. Of course, the crust contains the sweet potato mousse. The bacon and seasoned potato wedges really adds savoriness to this pizza. The corn and sweet potato mousse crust adds a tinge of sweetness. The combination of all the ingredients made our taste buds dance with happiness. Overall, I recommend Hello pizza to anyone who is wanting to venture to try new pizza flavors. It's a palate experience to remember!!!

Thanks Eddie for your service and help. During my order, I found out that their pizzas have a base cost which was about $19+. Depending on what flavors you want, they will charge $6.00 for each flavor you build your own. I wanted half Hawaiian and half Vegetarian. Custom Medium would have cost me $31+ rather than $23+ for Medium Hawaiian Style only. I ended up with the latter and also got a regular Vodka Sauce Pasta. Total bill came to $38 including tax + tip. I enjoyed the pizza very much. Crust was thin. Sauce was tasty. Plenty of ingredients on pizza. Square cuts versus slice cuts. As for the Vodka Sauce Pasta, it didn't taste the same as before. This time it tasted bland as if it had plain marinara sauce only. Slightly disppointed about that, hence, 4 stars! I live about 20 minutes away, so driving back would have put me there after closing. I even offered to send a picture of the incorrect order, but was told they couldn't access the email. What made this even more frustrating was how unaccommodating the employee was. Knowing there was no realistic way for me to drive 20 minutes back to the restaurant before closing, I expected at least some effort to find a reasonable solution. Instead, I felt like I was simply being told there was nothing they could do. When I said I would contact upper management for a resolution via email, the employee even seemed relieved, rather than concerned about resolving the issue. I understand mistakes happen, but the restaurant made the mistake--not me. The least they could have done was offer a refund for an overpriced burrito that I didn't even order. It's now past midnight, and I have to drive way out of my way just to find somewhere that's still open to get food. Very disappointing customer service, and unfortunately I won't be ordering from here again.

If anyone is to blame for this review it's Glenoaks Deli for not being open anytime I need a Makhlout pizza. I was forced to get slash, only to find out they're running a massive fraud operation on DoorDash. It says 40 min delivery but expect to wait 2+ hours. I call the guy, he said some lady picked it up call DoorDash for an update, only to see what was maybe his wife in A SLASH T SHIRT, delivering the pizza. These guys are the worst person to do anything illegal with, they're the type to steal a purse and when they get charged, show up to court wearing the purse they stole. Just order a sandwhich or something next time, forget about pizza it's not worth it. I had to listen to pilot complain every 5 minutes for hours until the food came. read more

I went to Slash Pizza with my kids few days ago. I will start by saying that the place looked spotless super clean. We ordered Pepperoni pizza for kids and spicy Buffalo chicken pizza for us. The pizzas here is unbelievably fresh and delicious. Right after we order,(the stuff who were very friendly), put on some cartoons for my kids while we were waiting. the atmosphere is so great here. we had fun and we enjoyed the good pizza. We ordered a full pizza with chicken wings from here and the wings smelled terrible/old looked old and had white spots on it. I called them and they told me this is the way the chicken smells but I have never smelled chicken this bad they were very rude just saying "the chicken always smells the same" after I told him I will bring it to the restaurant and have him smell it he refused and continued to not apologize just say it is what it is basically do not order from here look elsewhere not even worth it too expensive! read more

This is my absolute favorite place to get my pizza for delivery, and they have not disappointed me once. Their pizza is always hot and fresh, not extremely greasy. For the quality the price is very reasonable and service is always great never had a bad day. Overall, this is the best place to get my pizza and pasta to go. I have never tried a better place. They have the best customer service, I called them at 10:00 p.m on Sunday, which is their closing time, but they did not refuse to take my deliver order, but they are some other delivery restaurant that you call them 10 min before their closing time, they do not take you order or they are saying the delivery person left already. I decided to give it another try today, hoping things had changed, but sadly they had not. The food is still great, but the service completely ruined the experience. The lady at the front was very rude and had no personality or customer service. She gave me cold food, and when I politely asked if she could heat it up, she did it with a very clear attitude. When it was time to pay, I asked if they accepted credit cards. She responded that there is a fee for using a credit card and also said the machine sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. Because of that, I ended up paying cash. It's really unfortunate because the food is good, but experiences like this are why businesses lose loyal customers. I have tried many times in the past to ignore the poor attitude and not make a big deal out of it, but this time it was just too much. Sadly, I will not be returning. It's disappointing when a business loses long-time customers because of one person at the front.
