Place was ok. I ordered steak and eggs, although the flavor wasn't bad, i ordered medium and it came very well done. For All American breakfast, regular meal was $22, kids one was $11, and they were identical. Service and entire wait staff were decent. Nothing special here. read more

Dinner is three stars, breakfast is one star. The breakfast buffet is honestly identical to any other free continental breakfast at any 2-3 star hotel, except you will pay $32 for one person, which includes forced gratuity and tax. I go to stay at the hotel for work very often and instead of ordering food from outside, I'd rather eat at the restaurant but there food quality has been declining. In addition, even if you order pick up they started charging a non - consentual 20% tip !. Employee wages are the responsibility of the owner and the tip is at the discretion of the customer if there is service involved. When there is a pick up, I am just buying food and not the service. Freeloaders are just becoming ridiculous. I just order from outside now, might as well pay for better food and don't mind paying to have someone who is actually driving my food and dropping at my door step. After a stressful week, I just wanted to grab a couple of drinks in a quiet atmosphere w/out loud music or bumping into people I know. I figured lets go to the Bar at the Hilton by my residence. LOVE LOVE +Remodeled the decor and its now modern and sexy- as an interior designer, I really enjoyed the atmosphere. Sophisticated and relaxing. +John, the bartender, was T.H.E.B.E.S.T. He was professional, informative about their menu and SO Nice. We obviously just met so he had no idea how stressful my week was; therefor his genuine and kind manner regardless was so welcoming. +Lately Im going through a margarita phase (?) dont ask....and my Margarita with Casamigo Tequila was delicious +I dont usually harp on prices for drinks because If I want a drink, I want A DRINK! However, my friend was taken about by how price point friendly it was. 4 fabulously made cocktails and amazing company (thanks to John) was under 50 bucks. That is a steal in Los Angeles. Chill vibe...chatted with some people who were visiting from out of town....and called it a day. Will def. be back to check out their dinner. The Dinner Area ambiance looked beautiful. read more

I had breakfast and dinner as well as a snack here . Restaurant was clean and service by Rosa at breakfast was excellent. She has wonderful customer service skills. Food was good . Tasted good and price point was good . Only reason I did not give this place a 5 star is due to my steak being well done when I ordered medium rare . read more

Dinning room is not open so they have you sit in the walkway of the bar. They don't have a full menu and it take 20 to 30 mins to get your food. And when it comes out it's not the way it was ordered. Our first server John who was also the bar tender was nice and friendly. The 2nd guy was not so nice and did not listen to what or how you order your food. I sent my food back I ordered a cheese burger and when I got it it was way over cooked plain and had no cheese. read more

I had lunch at the Amuse Hilton Restaurant on West Glenoaks Blvd. in Glendale. This is a very beautiful restaurant inside the tall 18 story Glendale Hilton, in the small quaint city of Glendale, CA. Appetizer: bread and butter; warm, soft, fresh and delicious. Entrée: I ordered two; Salmon Plank Plates; They were soft, flaky, and on a plank, served with small baked potatoes and baked vegetables. Diana and I enjoyed this wonderful dish. We both drank a Diet Coke with our meal. Dessert: I had; Tiramisu; it was super dupurly delicious. Diana ordered: Molten Chocolate Cake with a scoop of ice cream. also delicious. I thanked management for allowing me to take a few photos. Then I left to find another place for a review. As I do, I woke up hungry. The hotel had the perfect answer for me-breakfast buffet! I'm a sucker for a good buffet. This one was ok-nothing spectacular but it was fine. I was a little annoyed that the host spent a good couple of minutes looking for my name on a printed out guest register (really-we are still printing stuff?!) Anyway, the food tasted good and there was ample variety. But something didn't sit well with me and I was sick a couple hours later. I'm not sure what it was exactly, but I hadn't eaten anything else, so... you know. Be careful. read more

We stayed at the Hilton for a night and decided to have breakfast here. I'm not sure if they lifted restrictions yet; it seemed like they did because no one had masks but we had to wait quite a while for a table considering there were so many open tables. Then we waited a long while for our food. When it finally got there, the serving of potatoes was embarrassingly skimpy. Not only that, they were OLD old old; they were so old that they had started to shrivel (and of course cold). We both had potatoes with our dishes and both were the same. Next, one of us got the omelette. I have never tasted a watery tasting egg. The only flavor it had was the bacon in it; I wish I were kidding. My partner had a breakfast burrito and I told her not to eat it because we were going elsewhere for her. The only thing good was the orange juice and the toast. Naturally, I was upset. I told my partner, "if anyone asks me how it was, I'm going to be very honest." The waiter asked. "Well, sir I'm going to be completely honest, the food was tasteless and the sides were cold we're pretty disappointed". He asked if I wanted to speak to the manager and I said, "you asked me how it was and I'm telling you. I didn't ask to speak with the manager but it's up to you what you do with that information." I'm not one to ask for discounts or complain but goodness. The chef came over and he was rude and UPSET, "what's wrong with the food?" He asks. I tell him what I tell the waiter and he says, "well, you ate it all." WOW! The serving or potatoes was meager and I ate two bites, that's how little was served and he said I ate it. I was raised humbly and poor, we eat the food, always. We don't waste. Of course I ate most of it. My partner on the other hand hardly ate any of it. The chef told the waiter to discount my meal and walked away. No apology. The waiter was great and the hostess was lovely. Here's the kicker, one of the employees said, "I am so sorry. Had a conference here. Paid $14 for the Italian lunch buffet fast & delicious. Staffs are so nice and friendly. Will eat the lunch buffet again tomorrow so I don't have to drive & come back in & have to pay for parking again. Love the food & the staffs here. read more

I had dinner at Amuse Lounge last Wednesday evening. I was staying at the Hilton for a conference and really didn't feel like going anywhere. Amuse is kind of in the center of the hotel lobby in between two sitting areas. There are a few high top tables to sit at, but I chose to sit at the bar. It was around 7ish when I sat down and the place was pretty busy because of a large group of people from JPL who were there for a meeting. There was also a Boston/Brewers baseball game on. I ordered a Templeton Rye Manhattan. The bartender did an excellent job at making my drink. I also had a Knob Creek Rye Manhattan, which was equally as good. As time went on, I got hungry and ordered a cheeseburger and fries. Truth be told, it wasn't the best burger I ever had, but it still had flavor and hit the spot. I did have the cheese plate the next evening, and it was really good. So if you just want a place to hang out at the hotel, check out Amuse. read more

This is a great place to eat while staying at the Hilton in Glendale Ca. I have only enjoyed breakfast here but their dinner menu also looks great. I usually stick to the breakfast buffet which I am usually not a fan of but Amuse does it up right. They have the traditional eggs, bacon, sausage...where they do it right is the other items for travelers maybe not liking traditional American breakfast including fresh cold cuts, assorted cheeses, hard boiled eggs, great fruit selection as well. They also have great choices of other things like hot oatmeal with great condiments, yogurt parfaits and lost of great choices of danishes. What puts Amuse over the top is the service. Every time I have come here the guys working in the morning are all so friendly and nice always checking in with you for refills etc...if not wanting the buffet they also have a full breakfast menu with making pretty much anything you want. We had breakfast and ordered off the menu. I had an omelette which was near perfect, no slime and very little brown spots. The sourdough toast is yummy. My child enjoyed the pancakes, but if you like syrup on every bite, be prepared to ask for more. My husband's eggs were cooked as requested, over easy. Everyone cleaned their plate. Our server was friendly and capable. The only issue I had was the flies. Their was a dead fly on our table and a pesky live one. The price is pretty comparable to the surrounding restaurants. If you're staying at the hotel, it would be worth it just to eat here. The traffic is horrendous in the area. read more
