Perfect gem in Glendale! They have welcoming service and very reasonable drink prices. The atmosphere is cool and casual, making it great for a low-key night. Great selection of drinks and even have some mocktails on there. The Mango Sticky Rice was amazing, if you like fruit drinks and coconut, definitely get that one. Prices are reasonable too. I went there this past Saturday April 4th, I arrived a little after midnight and had one beer, I was catching up with an old friend who was coming from far away and it wasn't too busy for a Saturday night but it was the evening before Easter. At around 1:40 the lady working there announced last call and there was a guy and a lady sitting at the bar, the lady bartender announced last call and then she told us (my friend and I) that it was last call and that we needed to finish our drinks and leave. I got up and before I left I had some water and she was just staring at my friend and I with a look on her face like waiting for us and US ONLY to leave. With that being said, I know she was just kicking my friend and I out and was letting her friends stay and I'm pretty sure she knew one of the people sitting at the bar works at another establishment close by. I've been coming to this place for over 10 years and have never been treated like this when I love coming here and have had so many memories and good times and karaoke Thursdays and much more. Oh man, what can I say about this place that hasn't already been said a hundred times. The staff is amazing, the cocktails they make are somehow even better. If you want a quiet drink with someone who's company you enjoy, this is absolutely the place. I loved the snacks too, which is something you usually dont notice. Not usually a bar person but came to support a friend who was performing for a music event night. Had a few drinks myself, parking isn't the worst in the area and it's in Glendale which is a nice area to visit. They do multiple types of events here and this was my first experience at the famous bar. I'll definitely be back, the vibes were great, and a singer I'm quite familiar with happened to show up randomly I got to see two singers I liked. My only critique was the struggle to get a drink ordered but it was very busy and it seemed like a less than normally staffed night so I'll forgive that one small negative. Although I love the bars in Studio City, I think I may have just discovered my new favorite spot in Glendale. I met a few friends for drinks last Friday @ The Famous, which is located in the heart of Glendale. I ordered my regular old fashioned with Makers Mark. The bartender perfected my drink both times. This is the perfect bar to go to after dinner, before calling it a night. Their music was upbeat and I loved the ambience. The servers were attentive to all guests and extremely prompt in bringing out the drinks. Their prices are fair and service is superb. Stylish, upscale bar on Brand in downtown Glendale that is perfect for nighttime vibes, The Famous was a delightful spot for us to make a final stop before retreating to the hotel. We grabbed gin and tonics at the bar and found lounge seating where we chilled, drank, and watched the people bantering around us. It was a Thursday evening when we went to The Famous, where it wasn't packed wall-to-wall, but there was a good crowd. I think there was some bachelor's party or something in the back, which could have explained the delay in obtaining our tab from the bar. Also, I think only two bartenders were working, which probably should have been one more from the crowd, but it was a Thursday night. Went there to celebrate one of my good friend's birthday last Thursday. What a blast!! The atmosphere was fun, the bartender was amazing!!! Everyone was having a wonderful time. The drinks were excellent and they also have water easily available on the side for self serve. There is pay parking up front, and there is also a parking structure right behind (90 minutes free, $1 every 30 minutes). HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! read more

1st time here and interesting to find Filipino beers on the menu. Great early 2000s throwback hits playing on a Saturday night and the place stayed busy throughout. Typical modern bar vibes with moderate to loud noise. No bar snack options but they do have a good variety of international snacks for purchase. Our server for the first round was very friendly, took the time to let us know about the different options they have for the Filipino beers. However, 2nd time around another server seemed more interested to make cocktails and a bit reluctant to serve a round of beers. It was my first time at the Famous bar and they've just reopened. The decor is beautiful with real dried leaves and flowers over the bar leaving a nice smell, the couches and chairs are really sturdy and comfortable. The staff, security, bartenders and owners are top-notch with their excellent service. I came with a friend who doesn't drink alcohol and there's a decent selection of mocktails on the menu. The caprese-ish in particular was the best drink we've had in a long while, with a salty savory flavor that feels light to drink. Highly recommend!! They have a pop up food vendor set up outside (they announce on their IG on who will be coming when). Was lucky enough to have Amboy's burger which was so so delicious. I can't believe what happened to me tonight. I was talking to some girl I recognized and her friend interrupted our conversation and told the bar staff I was harassing her inappropriately and they decided to kick me out. A few TVs and one large screen projection to watch Montreal get smoked by TB in the Stanley Cup Finals.
