The service was very quick and kind. There's a large variety of options. There were many things on the menu that I usually don't see at other sushi restaurants so it was nice trying new things. The salmon carpaccio was great as well as everything else we had. No complaints about anything we had. The chefs were very nice. The place was clean and calm. Overall a great place.

We loved loved loved the sushi spot, and stopped here quite a number of times back in 2022 and 2023 while in LA. Their customer service is great, the sushi rolls are excellent and the interior is super cute, the ambiance is warm and inviting. Will definitely go back in the future

Love this place - food's great, especially pricing and portions. Went here for lunch with my daughter, we both ordered a bento box each - you get to choose from 2 or 3 items- and comes with miso soup, salad, and rice. We also ordered 2 sushi rolls. I got the chicken katsu, mixed tempura, and steak teriyaki - it was so much food. And delicious! My daughter got 2 orders of the chicken katsu, and beef gyozas. With all the food to go, it was enough for dinner! Highly recommend - will definitely be back. 10 out of 10 for me!

    SUPER PHILLY ROLL

I went here on March 17, 2023 with my friend. I ordered the super Philly roll. I liked how fresh the salmon was. There were 8 pieces. I felt satiated after eating them. Service was good. The waiter answered my friend's questions. Lighting was semi bright. There wasn't much natural light coming through because there weren't any windows that I could see. Only natural light went through the door. There were at least 6 tables inside. I liked that the furniture was wood.

this place was BOMBBBB all day BOGO 50% off for their specialty rolls (which have a lot of options) we ordered 4 of the specialty rolls and it was the perfect amount of food and ran us just shy of 60 bucks total so not bad for 2 people. the best rolls imo were the yummy roll, and BSCR. the lemon was good too im just biased. cali-land was super good as well but the more i ate the more i was over the cream cheese. service was super quick and rolls came out very fast. ambiance is super cool. highly recommend!

FIRE CRACKER ROLL, TAKOYAKI, SUPERMAN BURRITO, PRINCE ROLL

Came during their Buy One Get 50% Off Promotion. I don't really order specialty rolls when I go out for sushi, so this promo was the main reason I ordered 4 of the chef special rolls. Everything was presented very nicely. We got the Superman Burrito, Volcano Roll, Prince Roll and Firecracker Roll. Out of these, I liked the Superman Burrito and Prince Roll best. The fresh sashimi combined with the shrimp tempura were the best in terms of texture. I didn't enjoy the Volcano Roll as much mainly because the tuna on top was overcooked and the roll itself was mushed together that it made it difficult to pick up. I got the firecracker roll for the scallop, which ended up being really small. Combined with a thick piece of cucumber, I couldn't really taste the scallop texture. We got oysters too, and thought these were okay, mainly because they were really small. Takoyaki was just alright as well as I thought it could have used more octopus. We came on a Saturday without a reservation and only had to wait about 10 minutes for a table. The service was really speedy. Our orders came out less than 5 minutes after we placed them.

    SALMON BLUE CRAB

I come here for their Salmon Blue Crab Roll. It is delicious. There are other amazing rolls on their menu, but this one is always a must order for me. Salmon is fresh, buttery & fatty. Blue crab is fresh, sweet, clean taste to it without having too much of a fishy flavor. Definitely worth trying if you haven't.

Disappointing so much burn sticky rice

This location needs to improve with their cooking. Tasted like it was microwave. I would recommend to not come to this location in Glendale instead go to the one in West Hollywood.

WOW! This place just made me regret every 5 star review I have given... THIS is what you call a 5 star restaurant! The ambiance and setting is immaculate. The servers were all extremely attentive and checked in multiple times even if they weren't my server. Even the chopsticks and bill were elevated! Also, I really appreciated how well designed the menu was. Of course the sushi was delicious! Fresh, beautiful presentation and cut into the perfect pieces. Honestly I can't think of anything this place could have done better. I can't wait to come back! I wish I lived closer to this place.

The ambiance in this place screams DATE NIGHT! I love it! My bf and I went here on Friday and enjoyed all the food we got. Everything was hot and fresh and we enjoyed it a lot! The service was also good and we got our food and drinks right away. I loved all the food we got and when I saw the check I was amazed with how much food we got for the price that I saw. I will definitely come back with my man!

Always looking for a great new sushi and spot and this might be the one. Let's start off with the sushi, fresh, very tasty (didn't matter which roll, sushi and specialty item). Usually all sushi spots only have sake or soju but here we had a full bar which was amazing and let me tell you they do not skimp out on the drinks. The waiters were all helpful and always making sure we were taken care of. They have multiple locations and I've been to two of them and I can truly say both were very consistent. Our new sushi spot for sure, try it out if ever in the area.

Insanely delicious food! One of my favorite sushi spots in LA. I absolutely love their baked rolls and mussels! Tasty and fast, with friendly staff and consistently good service.

The service is fast and the sushi is good, they have multiple options and a very cozy vibe. I tried the butterfly pea tea from here and it is amazing! It has a cute esthetic. Updating stars as we got sick.

    No :(

No... only restrictions for those specials is that you have to dine in to get it. No specials on take out.

Is there a brown rice option for the sushi?

Today's my daughters Bday and before this pandemic started we would go almost every week. Is it open for dine in yet?

About a week ago it was still take out only

Do they offer ayce or happy hour and if there's certain times for the happy hour, thanks?

This particular location does not offer sucede unfortunately. The one in Covina does and it's all day.

One of my favorite things to get at Fish King is the plate with the swordfish skewers. This dish is honestly so unique, and I haven't found anything like it anywhere else. It's basically two shish-kebab style sticks of seasoned swordfish, peppers, and tomatoes, and it's served with a few sides in addition to fried veggies and shrimp. I also really enjoy their tacos. They also have very generous servings of poke (I personally don't get the poke from here because it's already mixed in with raw onions and I don't like raw onion). Prices are all very reasonable--the swordfish plate I mentioned earlier is around $15 and a pretty large amount of food. Fish King does get pretty busy especially around mealtimes so it's better to order in advance and pick up so that you don't have to wait around as long. I think if you order in person, you can expect a 20-30 min wait when it's busy. There's a small lot on the side of the market and sometimes you can find street parking too. There are some tables on both ends of the market so you can dine in, it's very casual.

You can tell they genuinely want to create something special, not just inside the store, but for the whole community around them. That's awesome. Second, the food here is phenomenal and actually priced well. It's refreshing to find a place that serves such high-quality food at prices that still feel decently affordable. Their lunch menu is next level just the photos alone will make you drool, and again great prices considering 2026's economy. It is delicious, satisfying, and honestly a better value than many cafes that charge the same or more for food that is nowhere near as good. The ladies who run the shop are also incredibly friendly, warm, and personable. They are always courteous, fun to talk to, and bring such great energy to the space. Every visit feels welcoming and upbeat and I look forward to coming in to grab a huge pack of smoked salmon for $18 and some fresh Russian bread (toasted with butter!) for a few bucks. We were seated right away when we arrived, although it took a while before anyone came to take our order. We started with the sizzling razor clams, and honestly, they were the highlight of the meal, perfectly cooked, well seasoned, and a great start. Unfortunately, things went downhill from there. I ordered the Bun Bo Hue, and it really missed the mark. Several ingredients felt poorly prepared. The tendon was so tough it was basically inedible and had to be pushed aside. The pork blood tasted like it had been cooked separately since it had none of the broth flavor soaked into it. Even the beef slices felt out of place, almost like they had been pulled from a pho bowl and dropped into the BBH at the last minute. The broth itself lacked the richness, spice, and strong lemongrass flavor that normally makes Bun Bo Hue stand out. It just tasted flat. There was also a mix-up with our order when the wrong dish came out instead of the lobster. When the lobster finally arrived, it was badly overcooked and much smaller than what was shown on the menu. On top of that, the music was blasting the entire time, no one really checked in to see how things were going, and it took multiple attempts just to get our check. When we mentioned the food issues, the response was basically, "We'll let the chef know." Not exactly the kind of service you hope for after a disappointing meal. Really wanted to like this place, especially after such a strong start with the razor clams, but overall it ended up being a letdown.

Tonight was meant to be a special birthday dinner for me, and although the restaurant was very busy with large parties, our table of two felt completely forgotten the entire evening. We spent a significant amount of money (around $150) and yet received very little attention once larger groups arrived. The most frustrating part was waiting nearly an hour after asking for boxes and the check. We had to flag down our waiter multiple times, and when we finally asked again, instead of apologizing, he responded as if we had been waiting by choice. It honestly left us shocked because we had already asked previously and had simply been ignored. What disappointed me even more was the manager's response. After asking whether we were satisfied, I explained that the restaurant appeared understaffed for the number of large parties being handled and that smaller tables were clearly being overlooked. His response was essentially that everyone is treated fairly, but unfortunately that was not our experience at all. I understand restaurants get busy, especially with large events, and I would have completely understood a sincere acknowledgment of the delay. Most restaurants at least apologize properly, check in, or offer some small gesture after such a long wait. Instead, we felt dismissed. It was also disappointing that despite mentioning it was a birthday celebration, there was no acknowledgment whatsoever -- not even a small candle or dessert gesture that many restaurants typically offer to help make guests feel welcomed and appreciated. I truly used to enjoy coming here, which is why this experience was so upsetting. The atmosphere and entertainment are beautiful, but service matters too, and tonight we left feeling ignored rather than valued as returning customers.
