The restaurant is beautifully designed, which definitely earns a point, and the service was attentive and welcoming, which I also appreciated. Unfortunately, the food was a major disappointment. We ordered the beef with broccoli and shrimp with marinated cucumber, and both dishes were overwhelmingly salty. The shrimp came breaded and mixed with vegetables and sauce, which wasn't what we expected, and the beef's texture was unusual, not tender or flavorful like what you typically find at other Chinese restaurants. The edamame was just okay, nothing special. What really ruined the experience, though, was the number of small flies around our table. It was quite off-putting to see them landing on the food and even inside our drinks. Overall, despite the nice ambiance and good service, the quality of the food and issues with the flies were very disappointing. First time here and the experience was not pleasant. 1. Informed the server for a refill on our $8 iced tea and she said it's not refillable. We were surprised since the iced tea is mostly ice and hardly any iced tea.. *after discussing the issue at the table amongst ourselves, the server came back an hour later to let us know that iced tea is actually free refills and that she had made a mistake after probably overhearing us complain about it. 2. The food is overpriced for something that was simple as beef and broccoli, which is my son's favorite dish and you can't get it wrong but for some reason this place can't get it right and the flavor is terrible where my son can't even enjoy his food. 3. The seating is very tight inside the restaurant where you can barely come out of your seat without bumping into other people seats and having to carefully push your chair in so that way you can get through to go to the bathroom. That's insane. They need to do better with that. 4. The sushi is good, but not great. $12.50 for a cut yellow tail roll is ridiculous. 5. No parking validation. I was really craving Chinese food, and unfortunately there aren't many solid options in Glendale. When this place opened, I was hopeful. The online photos looked great, and I had seen a few positive posts, so I decided to give it a try for takeout. Sadly, the experience was a huge disappointment. I ordered the "chef's special" orange chicken, and what I received was not orange chicken at all--nothing like what was advertised (see photo). I also ordered noodles, fried rice, and another item that was never included in the bag. By the time I got home, saw the missing items, and tasted how bad the food was, I didn't even bother going back or calling to complain. It simply wasn't worth it. Overall, this is a no-go for me. Priced very reasonable. Chinese: the roast duck was the reason we came. It needs pre order. Takes 5 hours to cook. We got 2. It was a lot!!! Comes with 2 bamboo bowls with 2 confit and honestly can feed 6 to 10 people easy if you're coursing more food. My favorite dish, the XLB!!!! Pork. Steamed. It just hit perfectly. The stuffing was a lot and full of juice. Vibe: the decor and late hours really worked for us. After dinner we had no reason to leave. The lounge is great w couches, music, DJ and drinks. Service. Hagop is top notch!!! He is relentless when it comes to service. He was nonstop taking care of us for hours!!! Everyone there seemed very attentive and organized. Went last night with a friend and the food was good we ordered the French fries sushi and salad. I ordered a lychee martini and it was absolutely horrible so alcohol wise I was not impressed. The decorations were pretty. Service was good. What really got to me and the reason I won't ever go back is charging 75 dollars for "premium" hookah because of the flavors I got. Cane and foreplay are not premium flavors. I get it for 40 bucks at the local smoke shop. There's nothing premium abt it and on top of that 75 dollars for hookah they charge you a gratuity fee for each hookah you order. Wanted to support a local business but the over charging is ridiculous where other hookah spots use the same flavor and charge way less read more

We visited Dragon Garden after walking past it a couple of items and wanting to try it. Unfortunately, we left pretty disappointed. The restaurant design is beautiful and service was great. However, the food was seriously lacking. My friend ordered a ramen and didn't finish it as she said it was practically inedible. She complained about the noodle texture and overall broth flavor. Said it tasted like plain chicken water. Both the beef and vegetables and orange chicken were severely lacking in flavor. It was a huge disappointment because the presentation was beautiful! The beef was mostly average, a little too salty. But the orange chicken had issues with texture (gummy chicken) and the sauce didn't taste like anything. We also got a fried rice that unfortunately was also disappointing as it tasted very oily. My guess is they used too much butter, like way too much. It was very greasy and that's all it tasted of. Boiled pork gyoza were okay, textures were good. Flavor was normal, but I don't mind that for a gyoza. Now the real star of the show - the sushi. Compliments to the sushi chef. We ordered a roll with waygu and shrimp tempura - that was amazing!!!! I don't even like shrimp and I would come back just for that roll. We also got the wagyu/yellowtail sashimi over rice (i forget what the term is) and that was also really good. I hope the restaurant listens to the reviews and revisits its recipes. When I asked for a few more minutes to decide on our order, the server seemed unhappy and walked away without saying anything, which made us feel uncomfortable. We started with the Tom Yum soup. For $24, the portion was quite small. The flavor was fishy, possibly from the salmon, and the tom yum taste felt off. Even the steamed rice that came with it was dry and tough. The beef with vegetables was average and didn't taste like traditional Chinese flavors. We also ordered the baked salmon roll, which was not good at all. It was my first time dining here, though I had previously visited when it was the former restaurant, "Blackberry Bliss." One of the first things I noticed right away was the improvement in customer service. I came with my family and we were warmly greeted by the host. Our server, Hovhannes (Hovo), was incredibly kind, attentive, and gave very helpful recommendations, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We ordered a mix of Asian dishes along with a family sushi platter, and a healthy salad with shrimp. The Asian dishes were flavorful, with a unique Armenian twist that made them stand out. I am personally sensitive to salt, so a few items were a bit on the saltier side for me, but next time I'll be sure to request lighter seasoning or sauce. The sushi was good as well--I would probably ask for lighter rice next time. Just something to keep in mind: it's not exactly traditional sushi like you'd find at a dedicated sushi restaurant, but the fish did taste fresh. Between the AI generated art of dragons everywhere, the slow and subpar customer service, I probably wouldn't return. While the food was good, everything seemed to be some sort of armenian chinese fusion, which is not advertised as the entire restaurant has traditional chinese decor everywhere and staff are dressed in chinese tops, despite no one at the restaurant being chinese at all. The rice was served 15 minutes before we actually got our entrees, and was clearly sushi rice with butter and salt added, reminiscent of armenian rice in terms of flavor. The wrong kind of rice for Chinese food, though. The eggplant dish was great, but again, not particularly Chinese or even asian. They also told us they only served bottled water when we asked for water, after having already bought drinks, and couldn't give us a cup of water, despite having done so a few days earlier. After we basically said "nevermind then", they managed to find cups of ice water. Service was very slow, took about 40 minutes to get our food, and the atmosphere was stilted. They were out of their pavlova, which was actually the reason we had even returned, which was a bummer. Overall, inauthentic chinese food experience with slow and unhelpful service.
