The restaurant is beautifully designed, which definitely earns a point, and the service was attentive and welcoming, which I also appreciated. Unfortunately, the food was a major disappointment. We ordered the beef with broccoli and shrimp with marinated cucumber, and both dishes were overwhelmingly salty. The shrimp came breaded and mixed with vegetables and sauce, which wasn't what we expected, and the beef's texture was unusual, not tender or flavorful like what you typically find at other Chinese restaurants. The edamame was just okay, nothing special. What really ruined the experience, though, was the number of small flies around our table. It was quite off-putting to see them landing on the food and even inside our drinks. Overall, despite the nice ambiance and good service, the quality of the food and issues with the flies were very disappointing. I wouldn't consider this an authentic Chinese dining experience.

First time here and the experience was not pleasant. 1. Informed the server for a refill on our $8 iced tea and she said it's not refillable. We were surprised since the iced tea is mostly ice and hardly any iced tea.. *after discussing the issue at the table amongst ourselves, the server came back an hour later to let us know that iced tea is actually free refills and that she had made a mistake after probably overhearing us complain about it. 2. The food is overpriced for something that was simple as beef and broccoli, which is my son's favorite dish and you can't get it wrong but for some reason this place can't get it right and the flavor is terrible where my son can't even enjoy his food. 3. The seating is very tight inside the restaurant where you can barely come out of your seat without bumping into other people seats and having to carefully push your chair in so that way you can get through to go to the bathroom. That's insane. They need to do better with that. 4. The sushi is good, but not great. $12.50 for a cut yellow tail roll is ridiculous. 5. No parking validation. Never returning to this place.

Absolute must have. I think it's called Thr Dragon Eye. This is a perfectly balanced in taste and portion. Almost melts in my mouth.

This is the 3rd time I've been here just in a few weeks. Ambience atmosphere staff are top-notch.

I've tried their restaurant in Armenia last year and noticed they opened one in Glendale. Food was amazing and their Beef Broccoli is a must try. The cucumber salad is swirl cut so it's very refreshing and zesty.

Dragon Garden is a new spot in Glendale and we were pleasantly surprised that it delivered the taste we were hoping for. The food is really good -- especially the noodles, which were definitely a highlight for us. The ambiance also gives off a nice, slightly fancy feeling, making it a great place for a casual dinner that still feels a bit special. The only downside might be the pricing, which is a bit on the higher side, so naturally you come in with higher expectations. However, overall it's still a place worth trying and a nice spot to bring your family for a good meal.

We were walking, and we stumble upon this hidden gem tucked away. It's Asian fusion with an Armenian twist. The food is delicious. Sushi is fresh which is so important for us considering where big-time sushi eaters. Every dish is delicious. Presentation is on point. Customer service is great. We definitely went back to back in one week.

I was really craving Chinese food, and unfortunately there aren't many solid options in Glendale. When this place opened, I was hopeful. The online photos looked great, and I had seen a few positive posts, so I decided to give it a try for takeout. Sadly, the experience was a huge disappointment. I ordered the "chef's special" orange chicken, and what I received was not orange chicken at all--nothing like what was advertised (see photo). I also ordered noodles, fried rice, and another item that was never included in the bag. By the time I got home, saw the missing items, and tasted how bad the food was, I didn't even bother going back or calling to complain. It simply wasn't worth it. Overall, this is a no-go for me. What you see online is misleading, and the food does not live up to the photos or the hype. I wouldn't recommend wasting your time or money here.

Yummy food, perfectly balanced combinations of asian fusion dishes, also good selection of desserts. Servers are attentive to you table all the time. You don't need to flagg them, if you know what I'm talking about)). The restaurant design is fantastic, modern and antique mix. Highly recommend.

Great spot off the main drag. It is a one stop shop that delivers. The sushi is prepped by Japanese chef and the Chinese food is prepped by Chinese chefs. It adds a different level of execution. Then, the vibe. It's a total vibe. The comfort and decor is awesome. Sushi: we got nigiri and cut rolls. I had to hold off since we had prepped a 7 course. Otherwise I would love to try everything. Priced very reasonable. Chinese: the roast duck was the reason we came. It needs pre order. Takes 5 hours to cook. We got 2. It was a lot!!! Comes with 2 bamboo bowls with 2 confit and honestly can feed 6 to 10 people easy if you're coursing more food. My favorite dish, the XLB!!!! Pork. Steamed. It just hit perfectly. The stuffing was a lot and full of juice. Vibe: the decor and late hours really worked for us. After dinner we had no reason to leave. The lounge is great w couches, music, DJ and drinks. Service. Hagop is top notch!!! He is relentless when it comes to service. He was nonstop taking care of us for hours!!! Everyone there seemed very attentive and organized. Return: I would go back, probably order the rest of the menu. It is intense menu. Too much for 1 sitting. I would probably need 3 visits to try everything.

This was my second visit, and unfortunately it didn't live up to my expectations. From the beginning, we felt a bit rushed. When I asked for a few more minutes to decide on our order, the server seemed unhappy and walked away without saying anything, which made us feel uncomfortable. We started with the Tom Yum soup. For $24, the portion was quite small. The flavor was fishy, possibly from the salmon, and the tom yum taste felt off. Even the steamed rice that came with it was dry and tough. The beef with vegetables was average and didn't taste like traditional Chinese flavors. We also ordered the baked salmon roll, which was not good at all. I had high hopes for their VEAL BAO / BUN , but they turned out dry and hard. Overall, the flavors need serious improvement!

With the seemingly ever-changing landscape along Brand Blvd. in downtown Glendale, this establishment has been around since 2012 (which I believe was the first and only time I came here). Primarily known for its inventive craft cocktails and a killer whiskey selection, it was a nice place to sneak away into before or after your main event... or, maybe this could be the place to spend an entire evening. Would this bar famously make an impression on me to remember to return in the future!? After a few minutes of reviewing the menu, we each placed our order at the bar, our drinks were delivered quickly while the food took mere minutes to arrive at the table. We had to approach the bar each time we ordered something, but any empty glasses and plates were collected at the table. Once we closed out our tabs, we were thanked for coming as we headed out into the night. Everything was chill and easy - thank you! PARKING (Varied; FREE this instance): I parked in the nearby original Glendale Galleria parking structure and simply walked over first to The Americana then to this place. Otherwise, there was limited parking along the main drag of Brand Blvd. and other surrounding side streets, the nearby Glendale Galleria II parking structure, The Americana parking structure that offered validation, numerous public transportation options, and rideshares - 'nuff said! ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE A dark cavernous speakeasy-like place with open space, various tables and couches strewn about, and a large long somewhat decorative bar with an impressive whiskey selection displayed behind it. I appreciated the exposed brick walls which gave it that old-time feel with a few framed pictures hung on them. Minimal natural lighting came through the front doors and windows while minimal electric ceiling lights filled in rest. There was at least one projection TV where we watched the Dodgers game while music played in the background. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&start=24&select=SomLKsk1KVcemeOCHGOZfg ATTIRE Totally casual, so I would normally be in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops. OVERALL It was nice to slip into The Famous Bar for the first time in over a decade, and if I found myself spending time in downtown Glendale again, I'd consider another visit. Sadly, I try to avoid the highly congested area as much as possible. I loved the fact that they had a daily happy hour (4pm-7pm) and late-night SU-TH happy hours (10:30pm-close), so there was always a deal to be found. The drinks were the main reason you came, while the food was just an add-on. The prices were elevated, but you had a good menu selection of libations (nice local craft beer list) to choose from. The customer service was easy, friendly, and straightforward. I found very good value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $42.00 BEFORE any discounts/tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice... Starting with the ribeye: it landed on the table with a solid sear and that melting herb butter slowly pooling into the meat, which is always a good sign. Cooked to a true medium, it held onto its juices and had that balance of charred exterior and tender interior you want. Flavor-wise, it didn't need much seasoning was on point, and the butter just added that extra richness without taking over. It's not trying to compete with a high-end steakhouse, but for what Eden is a vibe-forward, social dining spot it absolutely delivers. Dessert kept the momentum going. The crème brûlée had that satisfying, audible crack when you tap into it, with a nicely torched sugar layer that wasn't burnt or bitter. Underneath, the custard was smooth, creamy, and not overly sweet, which made it easy to finish even after a full meal. It's a classic done right, and a strong closer if you're lingering at the table. The crafted cocktail lineup deserves a mention too. This isn't a place where drinks feel like an afterthought. Presentation is clean, flavors are balanced, and you can tell there's some intention behind the mix. Whether you're starting the night or transitioning into more of a lounge vibe, the drinks fit seamlessly into the overall experience. Speaking of vibe that's really Eden on Brand's main draw. The space leans into a dim, upscale lounge atmosphere with music that sets the tone without completely overpowering conversation. It feels like a hybrid between a dinner spot and a nightlife destination, making it ideal for date nights, birthdays, or just a night out where you don't want to bounce between multiple places. Service, like a lot of spots in this category, can vary. On a good night, staff are attentive and keep things moving at a nice pace. On a busier evening, there can be some lag. It's not a dealbreaker, but it's noticeable enough to mention just come with a little patience if the place is packed. Overall, Eden on Brand isn't about precision fine dining it's about the full experience. You're here for the ambiance, the energy, and a menu that hits enough high notes to keep you satisfied. Order smart (ribeye is a win), save room for dessert, and don't skip the cocktails.

Not only that, they were either out of or didn't have enough of so many things. No shishito peppers, ran out of filet mignon after a handful of orders, out of the sake we ordered, only one bottle of the wine we ordered was available...it was almost comical. In addition, service was abysmally slow & forgetful, food came out cold, and wasn't that great/cooked correctly either. My "rare" filet mignon was medium at best. The "rib chop" my coworkers got was flaaat as hell and overcooked with inconsistent presentation/preparation. Can't send my overcooked filet back of course because it's the last one. Crème brûlée was actually soup in the middle. Bread pudding was dense and unpleasant. Potatoes were cold. Given our group dropped almost three grand, it was pretty damn lackluster. It's too bad because it's in a great location and has nice ambiance, but that doesn't make up for everything else. Brownie sundae was the lone highlight.

Atrium is located off Orange, a street that doesn't have much going on, but the good news is there's a huge public parking structure just south of the restaurant with plenty of metered spaces. The restaurant itself has a casual outdoor seating area that fits around 20-30 people, and a much larger indoor space. Inside is absolutely gorgeous--seriously, out‑of‑this‑world décor. Outside is more relaxed, and since the weather was nice and the indoor area was nearly empty, we asked to sit outdoors. Service was perfect. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and didn't make us feel awkward for ordering just two small dishes. My friend ordered the Greek salad, and I went with the tuna tartare. Everything was incredibly fresh and served ice‑cold (as salads should be--I can't stand warm salads). The flavors were balanced and delicious, and the presentation was stunning. I almost didn't want to eat my tuna tartare because it looked like a piece of art. There must be a master chef in the kitchen who really knows what they're doing. Now, the price... definitely on the high side, borderline crazy. We paid $64 for two starters. Imagine if we had ordered entrées, shared a dessert, added a drink each, and maybe some coffee--the bill could easily climb to $300. Will I come back? Maybe, but probably only for a special occasion. Incredibly attentive! We had a couple of cocktails: Basil breeze (good) and atrium bliss (a little sweet). Then we shared the atrium chips, falafel and Mediterranean flatbread (all very good). I then had the atrium chicken salad which was surprisingly good! Very gingery which I loved. We will be back!

Echoing what everyone else has been saying - the service is SO slow. It was about 45 minutes before we were able to order our second drink and our water glasses were empty. They have so many runners bringing the drinks out but only a few servers and, from the looks of it, one bartender (on a Saturday night - what?!). The server was saying he was trying to find a manager to help out but they were nowhere to be found. Clearly management is fine with these service times since they're still making $$$. The drinks were delicious, and I loved that there were heaters on the patio (though they did get very hot at times). Our server was so kind and brought us a celebratory drink. I do wish there were more explanations with the beverages, especially for the Paid Vacation as most people will not realize you're supposed to bite into the buzz button for the tingly sensation. I would come back, but need some time for my wallet to recover first, haha!

We arrived around 10:45 checked our name on the guest list and were in quickly. Drinks were average priced Jack & coke $12.00 Modelo $7.00. The mix drink was perfect and the bartenders were quick. Two dance floors playing Cumbias, Regetton and hip hop. The crowd was chill and of all ages. I enjoyed how there was no long lines to get in like in Hollywood & DTLA and there was enough Space so we where not bumping into people. Will Definitely go back.

Let's start of with the fee. It's $15.00 per person, which I never really heard of right when opening. We came at 9:30 which usually the ladies get in free the first hour. I rarely go to clubs and have not been in a while just wanted to try it since I heard so much about it. Was not great in my eyes. They charge you to hold coats, hats etc. this is not a good look. The bartender was very nice and did well on hooking us up with the our order, but that's pretty much it! This place is not diverse and only play one type of genre of music, unless they changed after we left. We waited for an hour, but still the same music. I love Latin music but I think it's good to be well rounded will all genres. Overall, I will not come back unless they change the music/ dj.
