I really like these selection of oysters, it is very seasonal, and do you have plenty to choose from! I really liked the scallops as well. I would skip the hand rolls next time. You are really here for the oysters, more than anything. There could be a wait, but you're looking to enjoy a glass of wine and some raw shellfish. The service was pretty good, everything came out in a timely manner, and I had no issues. Seating is pretty well spaced out, so you will not be hearing about someone else's business while you're seated. This is a pretty cool restaurant with a good ambience, definitely recommend it if you're craving oysters out in Pasadena. I would recommend the smaller oysters, as they are sweeter.

My boyfriend sweetly made a reservation for us during Dine LA. Our friends recommended this spot to us for their oysters. It's a cozy spot off of Colorado with a casual ambiance for a date or with friends. We were able to combine the starters with half a dozen oysters, per our server's recommendation. Although they were sold out of the first choice of wine, our server was knowledgeable about an alternative that would pair well with our dining options! Each course was phenomenally cooked, seasoned, and timed. While the food was out of the park, what really stood out was the excellent service from each team member!

My go-to spot whenever I'm craving a good lobster roll and fresh oysters! I've been here multiple times, and the quality and freshness of their oysters never fail me. The lobster roll is always delicious, and the brioche bun is perfectly browned and crisp every single time. It comes with your choice of fries or potato wedges, and they're always cooked just right. They serve it with ketchup and a delicious tartar sauce that pairs so well with everything. Their sashimi is also consistently fresh. I also love the decor -- it perfectly matches the seafood vibe. They even give you the check inside an Old Bay seasoning can, which I think is such a cute and creative touch! The servers are always so helpful and knowledgeable. They take the time to guide me through the different types of oysters and explain their flavor profiles. Definitely a spot I'll keep coming back to!

Popped in for lunch on a Saturday and was able to get a table right away. I really like the aesthetic of this place decorated with fishes, it has a mix of bar seating with a tv , booths and tables. I think there also may be some outdoor seating, saw waiters using a side door and I spotted some tables outside as well. This was my first time visiting so we wanted to try a few things. Ordered a 1/2 dozen oysters, handroll flight, ceviche, pickles for the table and a lobster roll w/ fries (forgot to take a picture). Oysters were pleasant and well shucked. It comes with a minnoette which has a nice vinegar taste and a horseradish with cocktail sauce. They also offered us Tabasco to top our oyster off. The handrolls were okay, I think with a lot of sushi spots in the area you may be better off holding on this and trying sushi elsewhere. They weren't bad but they weren't memorable either. The ceviche has a nice level of heat to it and pairs well with larger chunks to place on tortilla chips. Definitely good for sharing. If offered ask for chopsticks to easily distribute the marinated fish into your chips. It made eating it much easier. The pickles for the table come with a variety of pickles and a very generous portion. l Kirby cucumber pickles, bean sprouts, golden raisins, onions and yellow beat. If you enjoy pickles you will appreciate the variety of flavors in this dish. Honestly don't think I've had pickled raisins before and they were pleasant. Ironically my favorite dish was the lobster roll with fries. Their fries are perfectly cooked and seasoned. I was actually not in the mood for fried food hence a lot of rare options we ordered but the fries really knocked it out of the park. The lobster roll comes sauced and topped with chives and sits in a buttery sandwich toast. Definitely filling given the generous portion of lobster and not overly rich or drowning in butter. Probably one of the better lobster rolls I've had. Service was very attentive, friendly, and food came out pretty quickly. Definitely a good option for fish lovers staying in the area.

Branzino - not dry but lite on flavor. The veggies were good though.

This is my second time here. This time we tried their DineLA special. It was $55 for raw bar, an appetizer, soup or salad, and entree. Was a very good deal. The raw bar came with shrimp, scallop and kunomoto oyster. Everything was very fresh. Loved the sauces, they paired very well. The octopus was very tender. The ceviche was more of a poke which raw salmon and some white fish. I preferred the ceviche over the octopus. I tried both the albacore salad and the calm chowder. Definitely get the clam chowder. The albacore had no flavor. Also, tried the crab cake and the branzino. The fish had no flavor nor did the asparagus but the eggplant mix was pretty good. The crab cake was delicious and very delicious. The place is very small, maybe about 15 tables and a bar. Service was good. They kept coming to take our empty places but didn't offer to full our waters. You can park at the Marriott parking lot on Raymond. I'll definitely be back for the raw bar, ceviche, clam chowder and the crab cake.

A little hard to find briefcase of signage BUT ONCE YOU DO get ready for some of the freshest fish you can find i had the clamp chowder and crab cake...what a great choice! Everything was so good i got the the miso black cod as well and was SUPER HAPPY.

We randomly met friends here after the wait was too long at a tea house lol and we're so glad we went! It was a little off putting at first because it has a heavy fish smell when you enter. But the fries and fish tables were so good that I forgot all about that smell! The vibe was busy--lots of families w kids. We will definitely be back when in the area! Oh and I was told the fish and chips were great. The pickles...I could have done without those. Picked raisins were not my vibe. But others at the table loved it.

This place is so good and cute! The service is amazing, and the food is so fresh and tasty! Starter, we got 2 dozen oysters. We started with a dozen samplers and we decided that we liked the olde salts and we order a dozen more of just the olde salt. Husband got the fish and chips, and they are one of the best fish and chips we have ever had. I got the scallops and they were amazing! I wasn't sure what to expect because I wasn't expecting a creamy sauce to go with it; they were cooked to perfection. I would definitely get these again but only if I am super hungry because they are really filling and rich! Everything we had was on the light side except my scallops. Loved them, but will only get them occasional because of the richness.

Fish Tacos - Not good at all.

A good experience in a really cute spot in Pasadena. Service was friendly and efficient. Food was a bit mixed. We both loved the N.E. Clam Chowder. It had great broth, finely chopped veggies (loved that!) and a good amount of clams. My wife got the Lobster Roll and it was delicious. Loaded with Lobster, buttery and came with a huge portion of fries. I got a Crab Cocktail starter that was good, and the Fish Tacos which were a huge disappointment. Zero flavor and very mealy. I wouldn't get it again and would definitely not recommend. Since the Fish & Chips is cod, as well, I'd avoid that, too. Not a very extensive wine list, but they had a good pinot noir. Beer on tap. All in all, good, but not great. I'd go again, but won't rush back.

Great food! Went here for a weekend meal to try to lobster rolls and they were very impressive! Buttery, well seasoned, and loads of lobster. What stood out the most were the fried oysters deviled eggs though! A bit pricey for only 4 eggs but definitely worth a try.

I had a pretty decent experience here but to be quite honest. We still left kind of hungry. Don't get me wrong. The food was amazing. But my big back ended up going to pick up food somewhere else. My only issue with this place was the quantity of the food. I wish there was more!! Fried Pickles 4/5 - These were really good! I wish it was a bit more crispy but overall it was still really good. Steamer Basket 5/5 - Everything in here was also pretty solid. Tastes really fresh! Fish tacos 4/5 - The fish itself was so crispy and good. My only issue was the salad the came on top of it. It was just so hard to eat with all that topping on it. I had to eat it separately. Branzino 4/5 - The same thing with this dish. It came with a little side salad that did not really go well with it. Maybe if we were able to choose different sides for this. Fish & Chips 5/5 - I think this dish was one of my favorite. Everything on this plate was fried to crispy perfection. Oysters 5/5 - These were so good!! Super Fresh. I would definitely come back for the fish & Chips!

Tuesday night and not too busy . It was freezing & I'm glad I brought my winter coat .Concrete floors , no frills basic minimalist 50s style diner vibe . The clam chowder was excellent with lots of finely chopped carrots, ham , potatoes and a few clams in the shell. The menu is not inexpensive with the lobster roll price at $44. I'll return anyways and try more items .

Hi Steve, though limited, we do have salad, kale, house fries and a few other small plates that are vegan. Hope this helps!

The options are not very nice actually. You're either on the very busy Falr Oaks st. where I think there are 2 tables for 2, or you are sitting in a covered shared space that's sort of a walk-corridor; I'd hardly call it a patio. And I have seen… Read more
