Went here with husband early Saturday morning. We ordered corn beef hash, steak omelette with pancakes. I tasted the corn beef hash and I could tell it was spoiled and it also smelled like rotten meat. The steak in the omelette was old and chewy. There is no way that they didn't know that they were serving customers old rotten corn beef hash! I called manager and she apologized and asked if we wanted a sandwich. We decided to give this place another try seeing it's been awhile due to the customer service. I was amazed how all the employees were working together as a team it was a busy Sunday as usual but the wait was not long the service was friendly and we got the food on time . Then I notice the manager was working with his team I thought that was awesome we even gave him a compliment. I would give it a 5 star but the 2nd visit wasn't as exceptional it wasn't that busy either my point is this seems to happen when restaurants are not that busy the service is not as fast and the employees lack off just don't loose focus on the days that are not that busy every day you should give 100% customer service . I'm updating my review we found the perfect waitress her name is Sandra . She is always friendly, smiling and we go so much now she knows our order lol . We always ask for her . This location is pretty decent. The food is really good and reasonably priced. Some of the servers are excellent and are really on top of things and you can tell they know what they are doing. This place was awful. I use to come Ihop on Sundays as a child and the food was great. But now, it's a disgrace. First off, me and my three friends were sat down and didn't get our orders taken until 20 MINUTES later. Waiters walked past us multiple times and my friend had to walk up to a group of them standing around to take our order. The place was also empty so there was no excuse for them not even taking our drinks orders. By the time we got our food, we were in the place for 40 minutes. And the food was not even close to WARM, the turkey bacon was crusty and the food in general was worse than usual. Workers were not wearing their masks correctly. I understand we are all going through a rough time but for the workers to treat us like we were invisible is just rude. Also just found out TODAY even though I went to IHop exactly a week ago, they took my card's number and bought a movie off of Amazon Video for 5.99. I have to say the service was very slow. I ordered breakfast for to go. Their sever said 15 minutes. I got there in 25 minuets. Apparently, it was not ready. The front desk asked me all the information and my order again, then walked to the kitchen. She chatted to their kitchen staffs and started to packing. Sometimes, you gotta do IHOP. For me, it's either the IHOP Burger or the Rooty Tooty Fresh and Fruity. If you can say Rooty Tooty Fresh and Fruity, I think you deserve it. This particular IHOP wasn't originally 24/7 and then it was 24 hours on Friday and Saturday. I think it might be 24/7 now. It's clean and located in a good area. Came in for take out at 9.30p on a Sunday night-- the place was DEAD. Service was quick and the take out order didn't take too long to come out. I did notice that, for being open only 2-3 years now, the booths are in REAL bad shape... brown vinyl with silver duct tape all over. Slept in and so only choice for Breakfast after noon is iHop. I have come here off and on over the years less and less. Let me say the staff are very nice. The place is clean and the system for dealing with the wait-list is great and makes a seemingly impossible wait bearable. I ordered the Bacon Temptation Omlette without the white cheddar sauce and chose three pancakes as a side. The food came out hot and in a reasonable amount of time. The omlette was tiny and had the equivalent of one strip of bacn crumbled into it. Not really a "Bacon Lovers" quantity of bacon for something bearing its name. The pancakes looked fine but the batter was horrible and they were slightly undercooked. This is unexcusable for a restaurant who made its name on good/great pancakes. Now for the best part of my visit Jocelyn; my server. She was great and came to check on me a few times. She smiled ad did everyone I saw working and made me believe they were happy to make the meal great. So the two stars are for the staff and cleanliness of the restaurant. My wife and I stopped in for lunch today and the restaurant was filthy with leftover food on many of the tables and garbage on the floors. The hostess sat us right next to the kitchen so we asked to move. Then she struggled to find a seat for us since most of the tables still had food on them, so she sits us next to two screaming kids who kept sneezing all over their food and the table. Train your hostesses that couples don't want to sit next to screaming children and nobody wants to sit by the kitchen!!!! Needless to say we left. I've been trying to call to talk to a manager, but they keep telling me she is at the bank. So I decided to buy IHOP for dinner last night. We had it Sunday for the first time in YEARS & were impressed...So I ordered online before I left work, get there and have to wait a while... customer service was good... I made sure all the containers were there when I got in my car, and proceeded to drive home. Got home and was NOT happy......plain pancakes instead of the specialty ones I paid extra for, omelette had peppers and onions I requested not to be on, and best of all, they took the bag of microwaved kids meal macaroni and threw the WHOLE bag in the container. So after 10 hours of work and 2 hours of commute time, we load up in the car to go back and speak to the manager. The manager is apologizing and offers to remake it and give 2 free meals next time. We told her we were not interested, as we would not be coming back. She then explained that they don't have control over refunding online orders, but she could offer a gift card for the amount we spent. I told her I would just take a picture of us giving the food back and dispute it with my bank. She continued to make statements about she could call her manager, then decided to refund us in cash and "she would explain it to her boss". I commend her for making it right, but the fact that there were so many issues with the order and she did not seem concerned enough to address the issues, makes it clear there is a problem at this location. We had to find something else to eat & ended up having to wait 45 minutes and pay twice as much for a new takeout order. Do yourself a favor for dinner... skip Ihop and check out Rockwood right next door. read more

So I ordered food after sitting in there for about 15 minutes by food came out but it took them 10 minutes to realize someone was actually in there looking to get food. The person that took my order did not get my order correctly. Come to find out it is the manager I told her I did not have another 15 minutes to wait for the order to come back out so I told her to cancel my order. She told me because the check is closed but I would not be able to get my money back. I asked her if I could speak to the manager. She informed me that she is the manager and I said if y'all do business like this no wonder there's nobody in here I've been asked her where the other lady was that worked here who won that was very polite. nice and got my order correct every time I came in. I will start off this review by saying I realize we were going at a odd time, and that I really can't expect too much from an IHOP... But still.... That being said... We arrived at 11 pm, since they were one of the few places open in the area. We were quickly seated. Our waitress came back and asked if I wanted more water. She brought me another glass but didn't check back in with us to refill my husbands glass or get me more water later but continued chatting with other fellow employees. As we finished our meal my husband went to the bathroom and I stood at the front desk waiting to pay for the check. A male waiter flagged another female waitress down telling her to take care of me. She flagged yet another waitress down and told her to take care of me. She finally made her way over to me, took care of a check in her hand, and then finally took care of mine. I gave a 10% tip to our waitress. I debated not giving one at all, honestly but I figured I would leave a little. Since my husband was still in the bathroom I sat in the front waiting area. Our waitress came and talked to the girl at the front desk, and not noticing I was there complained about the low tip I had just given her. Oh heavens. Just as others have said: service is not good. We arrived at 8:30 on a Saturday morning, it was not real busy, no wait and we were seated promptly. That's when the experience went downhill. We waited 10 -15 minutes without being approached by a server. When the hostess walked by we ask for a server and she said she would get him. Well another 10 minutes goes by and we decided its time to leave. Asked for the manager, and still had to wait. So we left. This is not the first time this has happened at this iHop. It's sad enough that the food is just above McDonalds take out but to have poorer service is to much. We won't be back. After many years of eating at this location, today at noon was the worst service by the manager and the cook, my wife's burrito had the a big chunk of avocado with skin on it and the avocado toast was 1/2 of the regular size so they bring 2 small slices and they try to charge double. We ask the server to call the manager to review our check, the server discounted one avocado toast and told us the manager said she wasn't coming ... what? really ? Very disappointed in the service at this IHOP location. Today was free milkshake day. Our waitress asked the table behind us, white senor sisters, if they wanted shakes. They were asked when they arrived as well as after paying the bill. Not once did the same waitress ask my table. After a good 5 minutes after paying the bill we asked her about it. We did get them but should not have had to ask. Each table had a poster about it too. The food took a while and was not all that great. Chocolate chip pancakes were only OK and plate was not decorated like usually at other ihops. Bacon was sent back to be cooked more and cheese hash browns were super hard around the edges. The Denver burger was dry too. The waitress did come back once and after bringing check asked if more drinks needed. Also the tropical drink isn't to good! The staff were talking to each other a lot and some inappropriate things were heard from the kitchen. Overall a very bad experience. This place was hilariously bad. A friend and I went in at 10:00 one night. The friendly waitress mangled our order (e.g., providing 3 orders of hash browns for 2 people; I ordered one serving). My friend ordered 5 pancakes. After 3 requests and 30 minutes, he got 3, with the waitress saying that she couldn't convince the cook to make any more. I don't even. We never got our sausages. Finally a server came over and took our order. Food came out pretty quick and was good. However, the water botched my order telling me that it came with pancakes or hash browns. I ordered the pancakes and received hash browns. He failed to fill up my water after asking twice. The food and service isn't the main issue I have here, it was the air quality. They had a constantly flow of hair/ dust particles floating in the air landing on our food the entire time. It was quiet disgusting and seems to be the air filters need to be changed. The idea of ordering breakfast online and being able to sleep in a little bit is a GREAT idea. However, I have done online ordering three times in the past, and it has been awful each time. Finally learned my lesson. I ordered online early one morning. I put the order in about two hours in advance, and scheduled the pick up for 40 minutes before I had to be to work (I work in the same shopping center as this IHOP). This was on Mother's Day. I get to the restaurant BEFORE my pick up time, and let the hostess know that I'm here for a to go order. Right after I sat down in the waiting area, about 15 people come in (mostly fathers with children, as it is mother's day .....). There was at least 1 person with a pick up order, like me. Anyways, all of these people got seated, and the other gentleman received his pick up order, all while I sat there, ignored, for about 30 minutes. I reminded the hostess that I was waiting on an order, however I NEVER RECEIVED IT. I had to get to work. In total, I think I sat there for 45 minutes. I did a mobile order, so I had no option but to pay ahead of time, otherwise I would have paid when I actually received my food. BUT I NEVER DID! And to be honest, this has happened twice at this location. I put the order in WELL IN ADVANCE, but they couldn't get it together enough to get my order out on time. I even triple checked my pick up time and date to make sure I wasn't the one making a mistake. So horrible. Wish I could put less than 1 star. read more
