Came here this past weekend and ordered a crispy chicken sandwich with onion rings. It was solid, though the chicken was definitely skinnier than other ihop locations (Manassas, VA and Germantown, MD) I've gotten the sandwich at. My wife got the value meal but her pancakes were pretty mid which isn't great. Service was pretty good and food came out fast. Now when we got the receipt, I noticed that I was charged for another persons order (who had a higher bill) by mistake. So they voided it and charged me the correct amount. It was annoying but it happens so no biggie. There's a parking lot near by but if you come during farmers market time, just note it'll be busier. read more

I thought that the food and service here was great. My server was Dayane, and anytime I needed anything she was there for me. Drink was always replaced almost immediately, and I had frequent check-ins to make sure everything was good. The food was wonderful. I ordered the Sirloin Steak Tips & Crispy Shrimp. The sirloin tips come with mushrooms and onions. There was a great balance between the mushrooms and the onions - no more of one than the other. The steak was seasoned nicely and cooked perfectly. The fries were nice and hot, and salted well. I did say to cook the steak rare, twice, but the request was not heard, clearly, from the ticket. Oh well! No big deal. It was still flavorful and tender anyways! The shrimp is where things go downhill just slightly. I feel like the shrimp could have been so much better, and more plentiful. 5 shrimp compared to the full serving of steak, when you're paying for them both as a pair, seems a bit off-balance. The crispy mouth-scratching bread crumbing would be better off switched to a smooth tempura batter. Most of my complaints are within the purview of the corporation's portioning and quality control area. The inidividual IHOP staff at this location did everything right. Table was clean. Silverware was clean (Trust me! I used to be a dishwasher for the company!) Floors were clean. Staff were respectable and in good appearance (uniform-wise). I appreciate everything this location did to make my stay enjoyable, and provide me with a nice breakfast after a long shift at work! read more

We arrived around 8:00-8:30 PM and the service was a mess from the start. One employee took our party size and never followed up, and another came later asking the same question with a rude, uninterested attitude. When we sat down, a nearby table was piled with dirty dishes that stayed there for a long time without anyone cleaning it. The staff was disorganized and careless. My kids' order couldn't be made because they "didn't have waffles," and the server added unnecessary rules about milkshakes and the Kids Free offer. Everything felt complicated for no reason. At checkout, the manager, Olga, argued that my IHOP reward couldn't be used, claiming she had "20 years working there" and had never seen it. After checking with the owner, she returned saying it could be applied. Very unprofessional overall. Experiences like this are exactly why self-service and AI systems will eventually replace waiters in places like this. Many customers simply want to order, eat, and leave -- without dealing with bad attitudes or confusion. That day will come. I will not be returning to this IHOP, and I do not recommend it. read more

Hubby and I love coming here. We usually make it once a week here recently. The food comes out piping hot and delicious. The prices are terrific especially for what get. We always have different servers and each one is personable, knowledgeable, and hard working. We always always always feel very welcome here and never rushed even at their busy times. read more

Horrible experience! We were seated in Angela's section. She was very rude and dismissive. When we arrived to the restaurant it was pretty empty. But she took our order and disappeared for a long time. We observed our food sitting in the window for some time. When she finally reappeared and brought our door out EVERYTHING was cold as well as over cooked. I waited to let our server Angela know but she did not return. As I looked over to the kitchen I saw a gentleman helping with orders and assumed he was a manager, but he let me know there was no manager on duty. I then asked who I could speak to about getting our food reordered. While I was talking to another gentleman, Angela walked up asking what I needed. I let her know our food was cold and we could not find her. She instantly got nasty. Saying we weren't looking for her then started speaking Spanish to an older lady who helped us. Saying we didn't look for her but the lady let her know she actually looked for her. The gentleman told us not to worry and resubmitted our entire parties order. I returned to my table. As we waited u saw our order in the window and because u Yelp I began to snap a picture as I snapped my picture I saw Angela or server look at the window and continue walking we waited a few more minutes. I haven't been to this ihop on several years because the last time we went was for my son's birthday and the service was horrible. I should have known when the majority of tables had dirty dishes on them (which remained the entire time we were there). Our food took a long time to come out despite it not being busy and then to get the bill, we had to walk around to find someone as we had waited 20 minutes. Everyone was just in the kitchen talking. I got a $10 off coupon in the mail so we tried to go today but they had a sign on the door that they could only accept cash so we couldn't go. read more

Very sub-par experience at this ihop. - DO NOT use Yelp waitlist here. I've successfully used Yelp waitlist at other places. This ihop has Yelp waitlist as an option (which I used) but it was not honored. - We were a party of 5. The waitress messed up 3 orders. (She completely botched 1 order, gave incorrect sides for another, and forgot the other order). She was nice, but the food was definitely not correct (note: we didn't have any "unique" orders, all orders were all straight off the menu) - I asked for hot sauce, and got it 10+ min later when my food already cooled down. I asked for extra napkins, that came 10-15+ min later. The food was regular ihop delicious, but the customer service was definitely lacking. read more

Better than the average IHOP for service, although I will say the service varies more than it should. If you can, request to sit in the back left area of the restaurant, especially on a weekday. This is where they usually put larger groups and parties, so it's a bit noisier but the service is faster and friendlier. We were seated back there for my sons birthday recently and the waitress went out of her way to make sure to keep his all-you-can-eat pancakes coming. The entire waitstaff also came out to sing a special birthday song and present him with an ice cream sundae (which he also polished off). It really made for a special special start to his day. We returned a few days later, were seated in the front area and received indifferent service, wrong order, food served barely warm (sent back and they made it over) having to ask for everything (including water and pancake refills). The quality of the food is still solid, and the price is right, but I do wish they could provide consistently good service. Yet another visit (on the free short stacks of pancakes day) and we were again at the back and received excellent service. Lesson learned! We will ask to be seated in the rear area whenever possible. Overall, this is still one of the better IHOP locations I've been to. If you're looking to feed your family a good hearty breakfast you can't go wrong with IHOP and their bottomless pancakes. read more

After casually mentioning to our waiter that the sausage was undercooked he then sulked off and came back with our bill. We then paid, it came out to $35 and we gave him a $50 to ensure a much larger tip then he deserved he gave us a $5 and a $10 back. We then tipped him $3 in quarters as that was all we had other than the larger bills (he then in front of me) PUT MY QUARTERS IN THE GLASS OF WATER LIKE THEY WERE TRASH. Just not good! The food was room temp and dry. My son's two by two actually looked like plastic food on a plate. The eggs were fried hard when he ordered over medium. My omelette was dry and tasteless. The cheese wasn't even melted. The bits of steak literally looked like it was from a vacuum sealed package and sprinkled on top. No moisture at all! My son's burger looked fake and wasn't even warm. My daughter got the Nashville hot chicken melt, not good! The fries were crunchy but the inside was dry. Even the pancakes were suffering which surprised me because that is one thing I've always enjoyed at IHOP but not now. The service was ok but the waiter needs some personality and more service training as we had to flag him down for refills or anything else we needed. It wasn't crowded so the service definitely should have been better. We sat in the back and the door to come in for take out allowed lots of cold air in, way too cold back there. One perk was my son got free pancakes for his B Day but I at first I was confused because we didn't order any for him. When we asked the waiter said it's his b day that's why they are free. I had breakfast here today for the first time. The place was VERY busy. However, I managed to get lucky and scored a table for one in about 5 minutes. I ordered the Sausage Gravy and Biscuits, which also comes with two sausage patties, two eggs, and hash browns. I also ordered coffee and a glass of water. I have no idea what was going on with my server Ryan. He was a young guy, and very polite. But it took about 15 minutes before my coffee and water showed up. He must have realized he had screwed up because he suddenly appeared with my beverages and apologized profusely for the wait. It must have been about 25 minutes before I received my order - it seems like that is a bit of a wait - but I will say that the place was busy and a rocking. When my food finally arrived - the Sausage Gravy could have been a bit hotter temperature-wise - made me wonder how long it had been sitting on the counter - waiting for someone to deliver it. The potatoes and eggs were find temp-wise. All of the food was very tasty. The service was lacking, however. 4 stars for the food, 2 stars for the service. read more

This is a great location. They have a new manager and his impact is being felt. Prior to his arrival the employees would be confused and seem overwhelmed when checking in a lot of people on busy weekend mornings. However, that never deterred the employees from taking care of the needs of the customer as they are genuinely interested in providing you with a good experience. With the new manager on board, they have reopened their electronic check in service so that they can notify you when your table is ready via text message which is helpful when it is busy. One word of caution though, they rely too heavily on that system and expect patrons to pay attention to their phones. They will not readily call out your name like at most locations, so this would be the one thing I would "complain" about. My wife and I were letting my three year old watch tv on her cell phone so we did not know that we received a text message saying that our table was ready. I had to borrow the phone from my three year old to look for the text message, luckily we were only three minutes late on reacting to the text message. Had they just called our name, we would not have had this problem. This place is not without its challenges, sometimes the wait staff forgets small things that ordered, e.g. a side of sour cream, or sometimes they are slow to bus tables which can back up the waiting time, but overall the people mean well, the manager cares, and the food is always good. It is a typical ihop so don't expect anything special, but you will get good service from genuinely good people that work there. read more

Tasteless food served cold I find myself in an IHOP every three or four years. That's enough to remind me why I haven't been there for three or four years. This time, I was with a group of people who saw it as the only choice and I went along. I'll say up front that the service was reasonably prompt and the servers nicely nice. The food, not so much. There were eight of us and NOBODY finished their meals. I will allow that IHOP does serve up generous portions and still, this is Amerika (imagine the "k" backwards) where we are taught to clean our plates. And regarding the generousness, most entries come with a side order of pancakes and the ones we received needed to be sent back because they arrived at our table cold. I'm not talking about warm, tepid, or even cool... they were COLD. Interestingly, the plates they were on were hot. I would hate to imagine the kitchen process that allowed that to happen. For me, a 2-star rating means I will never return on my own, at least not in this decade, and recommend alternatives if others suggest it. read more

Of all of my years of coming to this ihop this was the worst. They did clean the tables or the floor. I took 30 minutes for us to get service. My grits tasted like creamy water no amount of salt and pepper could fix it. My milk shake was warm, the pancakes were ice cold, the service was terrible but it wasn't good either. If there front of house was that deity I don't want to know what there back of house looked like, and when we first got there they didn't have any sliver wear raped so we had to get plastic but when my husband got his food it was so hot that the plastic melted.
