    Charburger with fries
    Vanessa A.

Foster's has been my family's go-to burger spot for almost a decade now and for good reason. I love this location for the open seating and big windows. I've always had great interactions with the staff and everyone is very friendly. The chargrilled patties are cooked perfectly, enough to get that nice crust and still keep the meat inside juicy. I love that you get to customize your toppings and they make it easy with the paper pads to mark your order. Even the fries are awesome, well seasoned and they've got malt vinegar on the tables to really take it to the next level. This location is part of a shopping center so there's plenty of parking right out front.

Good burgers and onion rings. Little more expensive than we were expecting. Fries were good too.

Never a bad experience. I've since tried the hot dog, cheese steak, multiple burgers and once the chili cheese fries. Just straight up good stuff. The little burger is a little dry compared to the regular charburger so I tend not to go that route. Sometimes I order the half fries. I still haven't tried the onion rings or wings, but they both look and smell amazing. I have never had less than great service. Yes, sometimes it takes longer than others, that's the nature of this kind of business. One time they forgot my pickles. That's the extent of incorrect orders. They happily gave them to me when I asked. Their cheese steak is one of the best I've had and their fries are the bomb. I love the hot dog, dont' love the bun it's served in, but that's pretty minor. The chili cheese fries were a meal all on their own.

The funny thing about the less than perfect reviews on Foster's Grill (when reviewing the burger) is that you craft your own burger. I would say if you don't like the burgers here, it is because you don't know how you like your burger! You choose exactly what you want on it and how the burger is cooked. So let's move on. You go to Fosters for a burger and fries. If beer is your thing they got a nice selection there as well, even some nice crafts. Two things I like most about this place. I have never seen it too busy and their fries. Fosters knows how to do French fries. If you don't know the answer is you make them from a real friggen potato, not a frozen plastic bag from the freezer. If your a New Englander like me, they have vinegar readily available. You dubbah's are covered. This is a nice simple burger joint for nice simple person like me. Uppity model type from "The Ladies of Lake Manassas" can find something bougie closer to DC.

Had lunch here today - was the first time visiting this Foster's location. This location is pretty popular! On a Sunday afternoon - there were 20 or so folks in line in front of me. Ordered the Grilled Hot Dog - with everything: mustard, ketchup, relish, onions, chili, and cheese, comes with a side of fries and got a lemonade to go with it. I sat at the bar and waited - took a little over 15 minutes for my food to come up - but they were cranking out a lot of food! I snagged a knife and fork - I've learned from eating these in the past - that if I don't want to wear half the toppings and get them all over my hands - best to cut it up into manageable bites and devour it that way. The dog was moist and delicious - seemed a tad on the salty side - but not so much so that it detracted from the overall experience. As regulars at Foster's will know - they offer Malt Vinegar as a condiment. I can't remember the last time I've eaten fries doused with it - so I gave the fries a good soaking. Sooooo good!

Service is great, food is always predictable. Love the thick milk shakes! They have inside or outside dining, no issues with either.

Best burger in town...fast food and actual restaurant alike. However, the prices and the wait time make me double guess every trip.

Omg so many thoughts on this experience…read more I'm so glad i didn't immediately know it was a restaurant located in a hotel. This prob would have deterred me, even a little bit. The Apple map directions here confused me a little due to this, but parking was really plentiful so that's a huge plus! I went on a Sunday morning and lo and behold there was a hole farmers market or pop up set up all through haymarket! Busy weekend for a brunch but haymarket is SUCH a cute little vibe and town with so many hidden gems, like this one!! Literally every single item I saw waiters bring out from the kitchen looked so scrumptious, every person around us immediately began digging in and enjoying their meals...and honestly, no crumbs were left behind pretty much every time. We started ordering a yummy cocktail. I was really in the mood for the Paloma with grapefruit juice but sadly they were out of grapefruit juice fortunately, they had plenty cocktails available that were not explicitly on the menu! I ended up having a delicious espresso martini, prepared, right and honestly, I would have had another!! Not too sweet. Not creamy. And with 3 beans. Impeccable no notes. I ordered the red House breakfast. Man those home potatoes were so delicious....they clearly cooked them seasoned deliciously and then flash fried, so crunchy!!!! Amazing. I found that their execution on their meals was really impressive. My sunny side up eggs were cooked perfectly and paired so yummy with the toast. The bacon had delicious flavor too. I ordered a biscuit because I had heard that their biscuits were really yummy but unfortunately they did not have their bacon biscuit so it was just a classic biscuit. It was good, certainly dense and clearly homemade. My girlfriend got the poutine. Looked so delicious and was really enjoyed! The gravy was thick and flavorful! We sat down and enjoyed plenty of conversation and a really nice environment. Nobody rushed us, service was just the right amount of attentive without interrupting conversation constantly, and the floor to ceiling windows let in beautiful natural light and views of the town. It was the perfect brunch spot for a low-key, but delicious meal. Just a hair out of the way without being too far. I came out with a really good friend of mine to celebrate my one year wedding anniversary with her and it was the perfect possible location. Shout out to the staff for being so welcoming and kind, and even taking a picture of us when we asked to commemorate the occasion. I'm sure they are used to people walking in to the hotel lobby looking as confused as I was looking for red House Tavern.

The food was average at best when it came out. Super disappointed. We came here for my mom's 5 year beating cancer anniversary and it wasn't much of a celebration.

Road trip, Sat., 8/1 to the 33rd Annual African American Festival in Manassas ended up here…read more Super small but super cute, super trendy restaurant. We all agree on 2 thumbs up across the board for decor and ambiance. It was giving industrial-NYC-Soho vibes. Quite impressive for Main Street Manassas. Timing was everything ... we were too early for the dinner crowd and just missed the lunch rush so the parking Gods were on our side ... we snagged a spot right in front of the restaurant. Stephen was a gracious server / bartender to our wee little party of 3. The beers were cold and the Cadillac Margarita was decent. The Rueben and bbq wings were raved about (especially the bbq sauce ... it was legendary)! Unfortunately, the salmon bites and the pork belly deviled egg appetizers were soooo salty and just not edible. Also $15 was diabolical for the portion size of the salmon bites. (Pic attached) I've paid that for a full bourbon glazed salmon meal with rice and veggies. Not a deal breaker. Would most def return to try other app / entree / summer cocktail options. Looking forward to hearing YOUR opinion. When you go, tell them you saw it on yelp.
