This past year has had a lot of challenges, so it was a pleasure to get a nicely cooked medium rare sirloin steak. My respects to the chef and wait staff. Absolutely solid, and this is a really nice location. If you eat alone as I do, or have a significant other, family, you'll like this too. Other steakhouses are too expensive. Yes even that boomerang one. This is a better value, with much higher quality. Love the sweet potatoes. Admittedly with butter and cinnamon, it may not win in the healthy category. Just recently moved to the area & we enjoy LongHorn but the steak was sooo good like better than what we had back home. The cook from that night needs a raise. Tasted like a 5 start restaurant steak. Our server was also the bartender so our service lacked due to her being busy but she was nice. When I went to LongHorn Steakhouse this week I grabbed a Wild West Shrimp, with no peppers, some bread, and a side of their wings. I had never tried their wings before. I'm not gonna say that their wings will be my new go-to, or that they're the best ever, but I will say that if I was driving thru town and my stomach rumbled, and I was craving wings, they'd be at the near-top in my list of places. The wings were tender and juicy, with a nice beautiful rich smokey flavor. I'm not sure if they marinade the meat or not, but when it's cooked it retains an enormous amount of flavor; whatever seasoning they use also seems to be put on top as well, because there's always a nice little sprinkling of flavored flakes on top of the wings. The flavor is simply amazing. With these wings comes a compliment of side sauces. The orange is a moderately spicy tangy hot wing sauce. I assume the white sauce is ranch - I have never needed it! I think they should simply ditch the sauces and let the wings speak for themselves. The wings are so amazing on their own. When you pair the wings with the side of wing sauce all the flavor, that the wings did have, just goes right out of the window, and is replaced by a burst of heat. There's not much flavor to the sauce, it's just HEAT. Sure, there's something there, and it doesn't taste bad at all, but the next seconds all your mouth can process is HOT HOT HOT. And the heat fades quickly, thankfully. It has a nice tangy almost BBQ taste to it, with a slight sour note on the end. The hot wing sauce, in my opinion, takes away from the great taste of the wings by flooding it with a rapidly-fading spicy hot flare, rather than complementing the exquisite taste of the original flavors and high quality wing meat. But, to each their own taste buds - I'm just glad it's a side of sauce and not something they put on without your asking. The wings have a slightly crispy exterior, and a decent amount of inner fat, and plenty of meat on them! I am very pleased with this menu item. The shrimp was great. I mean, its small shrimp breaded and deep fried, what more could be better about it? Fresh hot and delicious fried shrimp is the best! I almost always get this when I come here, simply because the portion is enough to fill you up for a lunch-time snack, AND it's relatively cheap, by 2 or 3 dollars less, compared to everything else on the menu like the salads and the steaks... read more

Rib eye steak tenet and flavorful. Lobster bisque excellence, excellent service, chicken, wings, tender, and moist flavorful. However, this was all over shadowed by excessive seasoning on the steak and chicken wings. Have the occasion to eat it this location many times however the seasoning amount per order this time was disgusting. read more

First time and it would be my last time. My chop steak had a pieces of stone inside. A half way through the steak, I crunched multiple pieces. These are not charcoal pieces. I kept wondering what it was but the only thought that I can think of is cracked grill. My favorite was baked sweet potato, which is unfortunate. I wish I had a good first impression. read more

We went on a Saturday afternoon at 1:30p, non-holiday weekend in the summer. I had called ahead to let them know we would be a table for 8 with a wheelchair and they were ready for us when we arrived. We had excellent service from the time we arrive to the time we departed. We had the mushroom cheese and spinach cheese appetizers and they were wonderful. We all had burgers and lobster and shrimp chowder and one person had the salmon. Everything came out exactly as we ordered, it was all hot and fast. This was our second time going to this location and first time with a large group and I highly recommend for lunch. read more

Three of us went, on March 20,2025, to the Longhorn Steakhouse in Manassas. The interior of the restaurant is very attractive, and seating is quite comfortable. We were seated and a server came to our table. She asked if we wanted drinks. One of us asked for a cup of coffee. It was completely cold. One ordered hot tea, and the other ordered a soda. She returned and took our food order. One person ordered a T-bone steak, medium rare, and two of us ordered the rib-eye steak medium. Our dinner arrived in a timely manner. The T-bone was cooked well DONE and it was quite tough. One rib-eye was as ordered. The other rib eye looked like the cook was not paying attention or was just angry. It was extremely salted and the salt/seasoning was very visible. The rice pilaf was heavily salted/seasoned. Our server said that she would get the manager. He looked at the T-bone and said it was obviously cooked well done. He said that he could see the excessive salt/seasoning on the rib-eye. Both steaks were replaced. Both the server and manager apologized. We certainly would not blame the server who unfortunately is the first person to hear when something is not correct. I did not finish my replacement rib-eye. My enthusiasm had greatly diminished. We had kind words for the server and she was tipped 25%. We could imagine her exasperation with this experience. I did the online Darden Restaurants survey. Towards the end of it there was an apology about our experience. It had would you like us to contact you. I checked the "yes" and certainly listed my email and home phone number. It is now 4 days later and no email or phone call. We understand that no one in business wants to hear negative comments. Perhaps their survey should not suggest that they might contact an upset guest. It would seem that the "contact" a disgruntled guest is simply listed as a part of advertising or making the company to appear to care. The three of us have been in management positions during our careers. One of us was the Assistant Manager of one of the critically acclaimed hotels in the world. Our overall experience at the Longhorn Steakhouse makes us not anxious to explore this or another Longhorn restaurant. It was a very disappointing experience. The next visit to Northern Virginia we will very likely explore other restaurants. read more

I was shocked at how the food wasn't that good. The steak I had was tough and chewy, I'd say a 4 out of ten. My daughter and I wanted a steak and I told her longhorn was probably better than Texas Roadhouse for a juicy steak. It really wasn't at all. My husband got the t bone again and he said it was great. Unfortunately we got there later in the evening so they ran out of baked potatoes but the manager was great and offered us a free dessert. I wanted to do a fair comparison of the two popular steakhouse chains in Manassas. By ordreing the same thing at each, I felt it would be as close to apples to apples as I could get. I placed a atkout order for a signature 20 oz. ribeye, loaded baked potato, caesar salad and roasted brussel sprouts. The seak was bone in so it increased the weight/meat ratio, was more expensive and although odered medium, was rare (almost raw). The brussel sprouts weren't roasted, they were INCINRATED. the potato and salad were fine. A small loaf of wheat bread accompanied the meal. As it was a takeout otder, atmosphere wasn'i rated. The carside service was conveniet, but nothing memorable. FOOD - 3 stars.......................C+ SERVICE - 4 stars...................B+ ATMOSPHERE - NOT RATED PRICE - 3 stars.......................C+ Overall, 3 stars, a solid C+. This location has now become one of my go to restaurants. Our last experience was especially memorable. We were celebrating a birthday and our server went above and beyond my expectations. Nayeli, added candles to our dessert and when we got our check there was a bday card signed by the staff. I was so moved by this sincere gesture. We got the 20oz outlaw ribeye, wings, and chocolate stampede to name a few and all were amazing. We had an amazing server, Nayeli, who took very good care of us. Another awesome server is Wanda. Mmmm, the outlaw bone in ribeye from longhorn is soooo good & just melts in your mouth. It's seasoned really good too & it's a big piece of ribeye. Also, i ABSOLUTELY LOVE LOVE their Mac & cheese, it's so creamy and cheesy & the bacon bits just makes it ... wow! The asparagus has always been fresh & juicy, & we love their baked potatoes, and the chicken wing appetizer are good & done just right. He told me how he talked to one of the managers named Olivia and she came off very rude and unprofessional when my father had told her that he talked to another manager asking for Daya and Gloria to be his servers, well because we know them and shouldn't we have the right to ask for someone? She did not care so she went ahead and sat them with a different server that he says was not that great. It's very upsetting because my family goes there frequently and this experience my dad had bringing out his coworkers was a disappointment. We go to this Longhorn...A LOT! Most times we get Pink. We had Iman twice and service was always slow, she forgets our order, etc. Been patient with her shortcomings but on Dec 31, she was irritated. Walked past us many times but never stopped by after she brought our food. In fact I asked one of the managers (wearing a vest) for coffee - yes we already finished our meal with no Iman. When I got her attention I asked for yellow pack sugar for my coffee, she never came although I can see her in the kitchen lingering by the sink. When I asked her for it again for my now lukewarm coffee, she got annoyed and said "anything else??!!" Whoa! She dropped the sugar didn't say a word. Ok so we paid the bill but no tip this time. We've reached our threshold with her! We've been patient with her so many times in the past! The bill was $80.38. Guess what? She charged my card and added a $16 tip. We hope for her this was an accident or innocent mistake. We're taking my in-laws there today for lunch (like I mentioned, we're regulars) and will speak to the manager and get this resolved, maybe file a serious charge against her after. This steakhouse used to be good many years ago but in recent months the food and service has gone downhill. My steak ( ribeye tasted like tough rubber very low quality texture was awful. Side salads are so plainly done no presentation very boring not worth to eat. Baked potato was good. For being a steakhouse it should have top quality steaks not second choice cuts. If this place doesn't get top notch meats I don't see a light of day customer going back. I gave it it a few changes but now not going back. read more

My wife and I visited restaurant on 10/21/23 and was very disappointed with some of the food quality. First my wife's Flow's filet, it had way to much pepper on top and she couldn't taste the steak only the pepper. We brought this to the attention of server and the assistant manager promptly came to our table. We explained what the problem was and she said her hands are tied. She said corporate office drives the train on how we prepare our steaks. Second of all, all longhorn steakhouses are not ran the same, we normally visit the one in spotsylvania va and food quality is the best. At the manassas restaurant my wife ordered Brussels sprouts for her side and they were burnt and were very hard. Thirdly, my steak was horrible, I ordered a t-bone and it looked like something you would have gotten from a third rate restaurant like a bonanza or sizzler restaurant. This is our family's go-to spot for special occasions and it never disappoints. This time was no different. We celebrated Father's Day a little early this year and the food, customer service and atmosphere were top-notch as always. Our waiter Andrew was so great! He was friendly and efficient and made our visit very enjoyable. We ordered cheese stuffed mushrooms for our appetizer. Delicious! Everyone loved the outlaw ribeye steak, said it was cooked just right and I had the salmon, which was seasoned well and served with a nice rice pilaf. Both were so good! All of our food arrived in a timely manner and everything was delicious! I don't think you can go wrong with any of their desserts either!
