If I can give no stars, I would. Worst service I have ever experienced. Ordered food to go via phone, and was told a 25 min wait. Got there 45 min later and food was not ready. One customer already waiting an hour for her to go order too. I had waited an additional hour and 30 min to get my order. Throughout my wait, employees were talking about other employees, even the manager was talking about how a chef was a no call no show and he was going to get fired. No empathy at all for our wait times. Was lied to about the order several times. Order finally came out, and was wrong. At least five different families left upset as well. I drove 15 minutes to go here because I enjoy the food better at IHOP than Denny's, which is only 5 minutes from house. Very disappointing service. read more

I just left this place and it was horrible. I only gave this place one star because I had to in order to post this review. The waiter that we had didn't get any of our orders correct at all. Most of us did not receive all of our food, the food that we did get took a long time to come out of the kitchen and he waited until everyone was done with their food to ask if we needed anything else. We had a party of 12 people and we asked him in the beginning of the meal to split the check, we also ask him during the meal to split the check as a friendly reminder. The check was not split and we were charged for food that we never ordered and then charged for the food that we told the Manager we did not receive. When our food finally arrived several of us received our food on dirty dishes. At the end of the meal four people asked for refills the waiter took all of our cups with the straws in them and came back and gave us cups that did not belong to us with our drinks in them because he could not distinguish who's cup belonged to whom. We asked for the Manager, she came over and was rude. She never apologized for any of the horrible service that we received at all and she actually had a bit of an attitude which added to our terrible experience. She took 20% percent off of our bill but again never split the check and still left items on the check that we did not order so it took over 15 minutes to sort the bill out. Again, we will never come to this establishment again because if the Manager does not know how to be polite to customers it's no wonder why her staff is incompetent. read more

Omg while we were eating a cockroach came up from the booth. They came and told us they have been Exterminating twice a week. Needless to say I didn't finish my food and I didnt pay the check. Not eating there again!!! I didn't want to give a star but it won't post. So No star. read more

I appreciate simple things, like good service, and well cooked food. It is never fancy at Ihop, its never ground breaking. The food is properly cooked, served in a very timely fashion. They remember to refill tea, and leave a carafe of coffee at the table so your never out. Its simple, and its very good. A decent place to eat with your family with no worries. read more

My mother & I went in at about 2pm today & ended up walking out. There was a woman who worked at this location being extremely loud & obnoxious in the kitchen. We had a very nice & very sweet older waitress who asked us if she could get us anything to drink & we said ice tea. Then my mom proceeded to say, "She doesn't know how loud she is back there, does she?" the waitress replied, "No she doesn't. I need to say something to her. She just got off shift." My mom & I smiled & I said, "Oh that makes sense." The waitress then went to the back & told the woman to keep her voice down (I'm assuming). She got quiet for about 2 minutes then yelled (& I do mean yelled), "THEY WANT ME TO BE QUIET? HAHAHAHA!! I'M NOT EVEN THE LOUDEST PERSON HERE!" Don't get me wrong, I am all for having fun at work & talking to my coworkers, but I do keep in mind what I say & do around the customers. Your job is to serve the customers & make sure they leave happy so they come back. Keep in mind, we were not the only customers looking towards the back to see what was going on because she was extremely loud. When you begin to disturb the customers, just know that it will reflect on your tip, even your coworkers tip. Just like the nice older woman who was our waitress who got nothing because you decided to be obnoxious & rude over a simple request that you keep your voice down, so us customers don't have to continue to listen to your daily drama & gossip. read more

My family was in town this weekend and we came to enjoy breakfast at IHOP. Mind you I never cared for IHOP but I decided to go and enjoy time my family. The service was unsatisfactory at best. The server seemed inexperienced. He did not bring out condiments/ napkins before the main courses. He brought out food one or two plates at a time instead of a food platter or someone assisting him. We had members with food and some waiting an obscene amount time for food. The sever also did not even check on our table to make sure we were ok. We had to flag him down or another server! I used to be a server in my younger days and I know what makes a good server and unfortunately this server was not. The food itself was below average i.e: missing food, cold food. One member of our party had a dish that was dirty..unacceptable! The manager was sent to our table, please keep in mind our server was M.I.A! The manager was indifferent and cold. We were not made to feel like we were valuable customers and she made us feel like we were bothering her. Her attitude as a whole was bad. The sad thing was she did not seem apologetic at all. We were not just customers whose complaints were not valid or we were just being annoying customers. We sat down to enjoy breakfast and pay our hard earned money for that breakfast. As a manager of any restaurant your responsibility is to make sure your customers are happy and satisfied and to make sure your servers give 100% which unfortunately we did not get! The second part of this disaster was the issue of splitting checks which our server had been informed of in the beginning. That was not case. Not only did some members of our party had to go thru the embarrassing and time consuming task of going over who had what with the cashier but the whole ordeal was frustrating. The manager nor her server apologized for their horrible service and we will never come to this IHOP again and will make sure friends, family and acquaintances do the same. My husband and I enjoying a drive up North stopped at this IHop for breakfast the employees with the manager were very rude and racist, towards us. We literally were very disappointed. The place was empty just two or three other customers. The waiter and manager were playing with a game on their Iphones. Finally the manager sent the waiter over to our table. He (waiter) took the prize for yelpers bad mannered and racist waiter. The worse SERVICE we have ever experienced. He spilled coffee, we did not get our table setting, moreover when I asked him if they had any Salsa he replied "THIS IS NOT A MEXICAN RESTUARANT" The manager did hear the waiter, however, did not think anything of it. I usually go to the IHOP on Rosedale which I never have issues with. Super nice and clean. Love it! But this one time I went to this location and received the WORST customer service ever. First we sat and waited 10 minutes before receiving 1/3 of our drinks then we waited another 10 to order our food. By the time she took our food order, I had to remind her about the rest of the drinks. She finally brings the drinks. She brought out 2 plates, then 5 minutes later another two plates, then another 5 minutes for 2 more plates. The macaroni of all things took the longest! I accidentally spilled my soda, I had to get up and find napkins because no one was around. You could hear the loud chatting in the kitchen. I never got a new soda even when I asked for one. I asked for a side of broccoli (it's 2.99) I got about 4 pieces total. Small pieces. We had to get our own silverware. Then the cleaning guy bleached the entire front room as soon as we got our food. With 3 small children, not a good smell. Such harsh chemicals. Beyond rude and I am so mad because this used to be my favorite place. Needless to say, I will NEVER go back!! read more

I received the worst service ever from ihop, I went for the promotional $1 short stack. We were seated quickly but our server took forever to come and take our drink order. Our server Justine was extremely rude! When she brought out our food she would slam the plates on the table, THIS WASN'T NECESSARY AND IS RUDE AS HELL. We got the promo for the short stack and we're given our food which were raw. Are you even suppose to server raw pancakes? I then ask her (Justine) for a fresh new batch we then asked for them to be WELL DONE, that was not the case the second batch of pancakes were raw as well! Everyone was eating their pancakes like nothing so I wondered if it were just mine. I spoke to the manager and when I mentioned the servers name he didn't seem surprised at all. I'm very disappointed in the service we received. Will not go back to this IHOP ever, you have lost a customer for good. read more

Horrible service, Got here at 1pm on a Saturday. I wanted to sit by window away from the screaming kids in the middle of the restaurant. So we got sate and about 5 mins later the server passes us and asked the hostess why are they there? So hostess looks back at me and turns around and they walk to back. Then the hostess comes out goes upfront and says why did you site them there, the server doesn't want anymore tables. The other hostess says she wanted to site there. So then the server passes us by again (still hasn't asked me for drinks or anything) she goes to hostess and starts talking bad. By this time I was pissed. So I got up and told her if there's a problem? She said no and gives me this bs excuse. I told her I heard what u said and she denied it. Said I don't want you as my server and wanted someone else. So got moved to different table and the server was very nice. But had a black hair rapped around my mozzarella sticks (felt like the other server put it there) So didn't even eat them or my plate. Lol never in my life has service been bad like that. Like if your going to talk bad about someone make sure they can't hear you. read more

To start the food was made well and tasted good, BUT we ordered chocolate chip pancakes and they did not have chocolate chips when we got them. Our waitress was not welcoming and did the bare minimum to make sure our experience was enjoyable. She would ask us how we were doing and did not make an effort to ask if we needed anything else, she was gone as soon as she asked the question and made us feel very rushed. Its not even like they were busy, they had a total of 5 tables including our own. I could hear the staff in the back making jokes and being very obnoxiously loud. The restrooms were also nasty and reminded me of a gas station restroom. All in all i will probably not be coming back. I will continue to go to the ihop on rosedale. read more

The menu at Ihop kills Denny's. Lots of choices. Food is consistence and they will modify or substitute anything. Fav breakfast is sirloin tips and eggs. Service can be hit or miss. Otherwise good eating. Only negative is they used to be open 24-7. Now close late night. read more

I was staying in a hotel near it and kept craving the crepe with ice cream! OMG, I felt I had a sweet and salty worm, cuz I ended up getting the bacon cheeseburger and the rooty tootey bkfst. The food was delicious and left me wanting to order more; but didn't want to be much of a phat-#@*. I mean, yes it is a lil pricey since they are very known, but once in a while we can treat ourselves to calorie feasts. I definitely got my money's worth that day. read more

Worst place ever. First of all the table we sat at was infested with ants. Our server Chris was nice enough to escort us to a new table. Only for that table to have dried up ketchup still left on the table. The pancakes were flat not fluffy at all and I'm the type of person where I love my pancakes fluffy I mean every IHOP Ive ever been to serves fluffy pancakes I guess this one missed the memo. My order was wrong I ordered two strawberry glazed pancakes , hash browns, sausage and scrambled eggs. When the waitress brought out my food my pancakes had bananas in it along with strawberries. I politely tell Chris that I didn't order that so she takes it back and brings back another order of strawberry glazed pancakes on two plates.. I can tell they just switched the bottom plate that my pancakes were originally on . So I figured they took it back and scrapped the bananas off. My pancakes were literally smothered in the strawberry glaze the cooks don't take pride in their work AT ALL! I will definitely not be eating here again! EVER!! The waitresses have attitudes ,the cooks suck, their tables are dirty and infested with small black ants. This was a horrible breakfast experience. We came into the restaurant and were immediately seated at the booth closest to the front door. The table had leftover juice from the previous diners under the coffee pots. We sat there for 15 minutes watching many waitresses and waiters walk by and even the manager passed our table at least 3 times. When I finally asked for some water the waiter took our beverage order and said he would find out who our server was. He returned with our drinks and told us who the server was. She came about 5 minutes later and took our order. It took 30 minutes for us to get our food. Our waitress stopped by once to check on us. After we were done I had to go to the front counter to get our bill. The girl at the counter asked what I ate and gave me the price. I had to ask for a copy of the bill to make sure it was right. We also heard at least 3 other customers complaining to their servers or asking for the manager. We were traveling and almost 90 minutes for breakfast is just way to much. read more
