Excellent service. Staff is a nice mix of young and older individuals. All of them are very courteous. The food was excellent. It arrived looking exactly like the pictures on the menu. I've been to other Ihops and at times I've received imitation scrambled eggs. All the food was top notch. The Chef seemed quite proud of his sirloin tips. They're incredibly tender and are worth the trip! Inside the facility was extremely clean and the decor was quite classy. The food was good as expected of IHOP. Our server was honestly horrible, but it was very busy and he was trying. What made this experience a 5 star experience was Leroy. I'm not sure if he is a manager or a host, but that man is the most genuine person I've ever encountered while dining out. Leroy is the prime example of what customer service should be. read more

I felt as though they pulled a bait and switch on me. They had these signs out saying "kids eat free" but mine didn't. I drove my 11 year old to get a free meal. like their signs said. We went in the waitress gave us each a regular menu and they gave my son a Minions menu, which I thought was the kids menu. I told the waitress that we were there to take advantage of his free meal. I ordered my entree and he ordered what I thought was a kids meal- banana pancakes and a platter with eggs bacon and hashbrowns- it was called the minions combo. at no time did the waitress correct me and tell me that was NOT the kids eat free. I only looked at the minions menu upside down so I didn't know the whole thing was not the kids menu. so they charged me 9 bucks for his meal. I complained to the manager and he took off a measly 3 bucks. I only accepted this because by then I was pi--ed and didn't want to create a scene. but maybe I should have because I don't think I should have paid anything for his meal because it said "KIDS EAT FREE". read more

Normally this is one of our favorite weekend breakfast places, with consistently prepared food at reasonable prices. The pitcher of coffee they leave on the table when you order a cup is always a good thing too. Unfortunately, there is one main drawback which prevents it from receiving a full five stars: Though the food is consistent, unfortunately the waitstaff is not. There are a few servers that are fabulous, but also a few that are slow and less than helpful. We've gone into the restaurant on separate weekends, ordered the exact same meals, and have had vastly different dining experiences depending on where we are seated in the restaurant and who is waiting on us. It's really too bad, because if we had been assigned to one of the slacking servers on our first visit, we likely would not have returned. If you go on a weekend morning, try to go early (before 9 am) to avoid a wait and the noise of families with lots of kids. It quiets back down on weekend afternoons. read more

We've been to the restaurant a few times and my son likes it because they have his favorite "create-a-face" pancake. However the service on Thursday night was so terrible, I don't think I ever want to come back. I don't know if they were short a couple of servers, but it took about 20 minutes for someone to come by and take our drink order. By that time we were ready to order the meal as well. My husband got an omelette, my son got his pancake, and I got the tilapia with "hollandaise". I had ordered a side salad with my tilapia, since it came with either a soup or salad. When the entrees came out, I asked where my salad was. The woman who delivered the food said she'd be right back with it. I realized at that time we were missing ketchup as well. She never came back with my salad, and I never got the ketchup either. Eventually our server came around when we were done with our meal, and I told him about the salad. He asked if I still wanted it and I said no, it was pointless to bring out the salad after the meal, I just want the bill comp'd for it. We waited and waited for the bill. By the time we finally got it, it had been well over an hour since we had arrived. Usually I go to IHOP for a quick meal, not to spend an hour staring at dirty plates. When I checked the bill, the salad wasn't comp'd, it was full price for the entree. I usually never tip under 15%, but the service was unacceptable so I had to take the price of the salad out of the tip. Sorry man, but you can't just not deliver parts of the meal and expect people to still pay full price for it. The only positive thing was that the food was still okay for an IHOP. My son loved his pancake, and the tilapia was good, even though the hollandaise was clearly a powder mix and not actual hollandaise sauce. read more

My fiancé and I eat here every Sunday. Our favorite waitress is Kasha. Well she was not there today and I had a feeling it was gonna be a bad experience, we should've left then. We had to wait for a table which is typical and understandable. After we were seated, management got our drink orders and told server what it was. Management brought our drinks and that was it. We waited 20 mins for our server to even greet us, and she never really did greet us. All she said was they never got y'all's order. Well no. You were supposed to be our server. Well she finally took our order. My fiancé ordered the big steak, but this is not what he received. He got a chicken omelette instead. No steak whatsoever. read more

Don't get me wrong, I like IHOP enough, the food was great and affordable. However, IHOP is a corporate chain and not a true independent diner or restaurant. If i could give NO stars i would! Ordered through Door dash for a sunday morning delivery. Specified in my DD order no mushrooms because i am DEATHLY allergic. My fiancé called to confirm to have no mushrooms on the order! I plan to write corporate about this because not only was this not ok in the sense that the man handling the problem was, for the lack of a better word, a jerk... but the fact that they did not take this allergy claim seriously enough. I have been eating at the Apex location for years and have never had an complaints, the servers and food has never disappointed... until today! Firstly, the server mistook my wife for a male and apologized saying she was only looking at my me! Then my breakfast was not cooked properly but I just ate it anyway. But the thing that made us so mad was the server charged us for another table which was $10 more... apparently she needs her glasses! It would have been okay if the manager took care of it properly... no apologies and she said she couldn't refund us, we'd have to wait and she re-rung us up, not compensating for the mess up at all. The rating that I'm giving is purely due to the manager of this establishment working the morning after Christmas. I understand you want to move people in and out quickly, being the day after Christmas, but I personally watched two examples of this manager talk down to and blaming something on the hostess. This isn't behavior due to the day of the year, it's his personality. There also was a family of 6-8 that had been told 20 minutes for their wait time and they had reached about 45 minutes then inquired about how much longer their wait was and the manager knew about their wait and wasn't going to tell them their wait time was longer than anticipated. We've been to this IHOP in the past and it was OK. On this occasion, we were quoted a 10-15 minute wait time. There were many open tables, but the manager was in the back of house and wouldn't let the hostess/waitress (yes, doing both jobs) seat anyone. After 30 minutes, I inquired about how much longer the wait might be. The hostess/waitress went to the back and asked the manager. The response was that she wouldn't let anyone be seated until they got more "tickets" out. The hostess/waitress couldn't tell us how long the additional wait time might be, so we left. The manager didn't make an appearance. I felt bad for the hostess/waitress because she was just the messenger for bad management. We started eating here for a few hours and have had amazing service, however we have noticed that the service has started to dwindling down and we have been noticing. Today we had waited for our food for about 30 minutes and when it arrived. Not all of our food arrived. After we had finished all our food, the missing food we asked for still hadn't came. If your going for the kids pizza here, don't. We went to this Ihop a few months ago to be completely disgusted. We ordered our food after about a 10-15 minute wait for a server. When we got it (after a good hour or so), my sister still had not gotten hers yet. Our server lied and said " Her's got a little burnt" when we could clearly see that it was on the counter THE WHOLE TIME. When I started eating my pizza , I immediately spit it out. THE PIZZA TASTED LIKE BLEACH! My Family tried it and all ageed it tasted like chemicals. The reason i put 1 star was because the Manager was actually nice enough to take the price off for pizza.
