We always love stopping here for lunch on our way through. Today it's for a construction crew I've got working in the area. Always friendly staff and a quaint small town ambience. I'd give Humdinger a higher rating, but their customer service is bad. I was there on Monday afternoon about 2:20 PM, and the service was very inattentive. The lady almost skipped my large soda and fry sauce. They used to do that automatically. I usually don't complain about service if it happens once, but this has been ongoing and I'm doubting going back to Humdinger ever again. read more

The staff was young but very Polite and helpful. The food... eh. It's overly priced and very small portions. The food is ok... The experience was nice ... trying something new but I was still hungry after ordered my meal. The onion rings were tough and almost burnt. The mini cheeseburgers from the cheeseburger meals was nothing to remember. Kinda of dry. Not a ton of options around there.. but next time I want a burger I'll hit yo the McDonald's down the road. Went there for a quick burger ,walked in there was another customer in front of me.The phone rings and she stops taking his order and starts taking the order over the phone .I lost it and said you should have told the phone order to wait 2 people in front of you , and you just lost my business.I blame the manager or who ever trained this person .Now the phone order is front of 2 people standing in line that's bull s!!! read more

The picnic area was great, the food was awesome, and it was the best place to stop on the interstate! What a happy accident!

Went in tonight to grab dinner. The young girls working were wearing short shorts and barely shirts. They were playing with their hair (that was not tied back) while touching and cooking food. The attitude when handing out orders was unfriendly as well. Onion rings were over cooked and the fries under cooked. We honestly left before ordering because the smells were intolerable. Outside reeked of old grease and the inside smelled oppressively strongly of (cleaning??) chemicals. The outdoor seating area was depressing. It was a waste of a stop. Also not a drive in by any definition. read more

Wonderful, friendly staff along with great burgers, fries and ice cream have made this an instant favorite! The prices are more than fair too. There is no indoor seating but if you don't want to eat in your vehicle there are shaded tables to eat at outside. There are many different burgers available plus daily specials. The French fries were nice and crispy and not greasy. You could actually taste the beef in the burgers. Besides ice cream cones they make milk shakes with real ice cream! There burgers and fries are great! They have a good menu plus ice cream. It's a good old school burger joint. The only downfalls is the place stinks inside and it takes along time to get your order. I'll be back but if it did not stink and was a little faster I'd be there alot more. read more

Best hamburgers in town, however not the best service. We've been in more than a couple times. The food is always great. Hamburgers are big and they have pretty good deals with the bag of burgers. The service is very different. Our first experience was shortly after we moved here. I asked the cashier what were in some of the named burgers. She told me that she "doesn't eat here" and prefers other restaurants. Nor could she find out. Not impressed, pushed through it and managed to find something to order. Fast forward to my next visit. This time I would call ahead since now we understand the menu. After repeating the order several times. Upon arrival it was still incorrect. Still go there since the only other "fast food around here is McDonald's. But try to have minimal communication. Cooks are great though! read more

Great place if you want an over priced mc double... they were out of a-lot and the smell in the building was horrible. I understand its an old drive in but jeeze! I wouldn't recommend stopping here, just goto the nearest McDonald's and save yourself some money. read more

Wasn't my favorite. The girl over the counter ignored me for what it seemed like forever. She didn't smile and when I ordered two large soft serves...... For three times the price I would pay at the Tall Pine, she gave me these two very small cones with hardly any soft serve on them. I asked her if she knew I had ordered large and she said "yeah." She didn't do anything about it like she couldn't care a bit!! They have jacked their prices but haven't improved the food a bit. Going somewhere else next time. read more
