This was our second visit, and it only confirmed what we already knew: this place is a true hidden gem. It is well worth the drive for anyone looking for an incredible meal and a beautiful drive to get there. The menu is exactly what you want it to be--focused, high-quality, and ideal for anyone who appreciates a great steakhouse with a Montana twist. We started with the steamer clams; they recently updated the broth, and it is phenomenal. My only "critique" is that it's served with two small pieces of bread when you really need at least six to soak up every drop of that new broth! Last year, the Prime Rib and medallions were incredible, but you have to branch out to see what this kitchen can really do. I went with the Bison Filet--perfectly cooked, generous portioning, and served over delicious mashed potatoes and broccolini. My wife had the Peppered Bison Tenderloin Linguini; the flavors were layers deep and the portion was so filling that she actually had a great lunch to bring home. Our server, Jubal, was the highlight of the evening, honestly can't say enough good things about him. He was knowledgeable, professional, and possessed an impressive amount of patience. We watched him spend 15 minutes gracefully explaining everything from wine vintages to basic steak temperatures to a very demanding table nearby. He handled it with total class and never missed a beat with our own service. We certainly won't be waiting another year to return.
