Eating great food, listening to their stories, and real connections with the wonderful small-town folk who gather there!! That was back in 2008! I hope it hasn't changed at all. They have happy hour from 4pm-6pm daily which is $1 off food and booze, so imagine your already-cheap $3 beers or wells becoming an astonishing $2. If you're coming here expecting a gourmet meal you should be looking elsewhere, because they have dive bar food which means frozen snacks. They actually have this cool contraption to deep fry stuff like tater tots or dumplings which apparently costs like $5k. The bartenders are all super friendly, especially Dave who I saw multiple days during my stay. I came here most days during my week stay in Wallace and this is one of the staples of the town.
