When we arrived we were quite disappointed as the space did not match the pictures online, and the house seemed smaller than described with insufficient sleeping arrangements. We also came to realize that part of the house (the missing room) had been rented to someone else. When we realized the issue with the room and space we immediately went to the manager who said she was unable to make an adjustment but would contact Javier the owner. He was incredibly rude, yelling at both myself and my teaching partner. He told my partner he would move the other couple but that we would need to pay the difference, which we were unable to do at the time given that the retreat was already happening and our reservation had already been confirmed.
Additionally, there was construction going on on property during the entire stay, which was intrusive and disruptive to our teaching. It included sawing, harmmering and metal work. A picture of proximity and construction is included. We were never informed that there would be construction going on during our stay. There was no attempt to resolve any of the issues or support us in anyway by Javier. The manager, Gallia was fortunately very helpful and did her best to help us. However, this ruined many aspects of our retreat, greatly impacting our business.

Our reservation was not honored as confirmed by Harmony
We were not accommodated or supported after the mistakes were made by Harmony and their representatives.
Javier threatened us with removal from the location (which would have left us with no place to stay and would have resulted in us having to cancel our retreat), told us he was unconcerned with our complaints, did not value our business and did not want us to come back, all in response to us lodging our complaint with him. This made us feel unsafe and concerned about the welfare of our group of women.
There was construction going on from the time we arrived, which was loud and disruptive.
Electrical cords were strewn about the property posing a safety risk to our guests.
There were leaks in the house and directly in one of the beds.
No hot water in main house
There facility said it was no smoking but other guests were smoking when we arrived.
Tents are extremely hot in the day and wet and moldy
Workers were walking through the space continuously and watching us, also making us feel intruded upon and unsafe.
If we would have had another option for accommodations we would have immediately moved to another location. However, we had 9 women and could not find anyone who could accommodate our number. We felt trapped, as communication was difficult. We did our best to stay off premises as much as possible given the overtly hostile interactions, loud noises, and safety concerns. We are appealing to Booking.com to support us as your customers and helping us find a good resolution before filing a dispute with our credit card company or other actions.
