It was scary to ship personal items across the ocean to the mainland but they did it!!! They kept my items together and maybe one piece of wood got broken in transit , the most important things though like timeless and precious memories in boxes, those were kept safe. Friendly, very communicative of what's happening team! From the local braddahs that picked up my stuff to pack to the team dropping it off in TN! Great job!!!! Recommend them highly. read more

I would highly recommend Honolulu Movers as they have very reasonable pricing but most of all for the professionalism and friendliness of their staff. They completed my complete move in an hour working non-stop, always doing the heavy lifting with a smile. I cannot say enough about their attention to detail and patience as they move each piece of furniture into the new unit to the precise location we desired. Should we ever need to move again we will definitely reach out to them again. Special kudos to Ala and his partner. whose name I cannot recall at the moment, for a job well done! read more

Cody and his crew did great job moving us from our townhouse to our new home. The town home had a lot stairs and they tried their best to move us within 3 hours. They showed up on time with boxes and wraps. But We already prepackaged/boxed most of our stuff. The new house needed renovations, so requested to wrap all the furnitures, and they did great job! We just sit and watched them moving, it was great experience working with Honolulu Movers! Worth every penny! Highly recommend! read more

Thank you to Avi, David, and team - you all worked so hard and our move went great! I can only speak to interstate moving, but if that is any indication DO NOT use this company. Everything started out awesome feedback was amazing the communication went well, but what a nightmare after my good we're picked up! Pick up was on August 30, 2024. They told me 8 weeks is the outside estimate. After following up 4x I finally got someone to tell me that it would be here this week between Wed-Fri and they would let me know when it would show up. Well, it's Wed 11/13...almost 11 weeks later and it hasn't shown up. They said it come this week, but no followed up and well even if it comes tomorrow or Friday....which I doubt the communication is non-existent the customer service on Hawai? Doesn't exist they direct me to California. They make promises they don't keep and I'm pretty sure they've lost my stuff and won't tell me. I'll update if I actually get it...but who knows? Ohhh and they charged me over $1k for it on top of it all. AVOID AVOID AVOID! I'll be filing a complaint with the better business bureau and seeing what other recourse I have. These are your personal effects, thing you care enough to transport across the ocean. But they couldn't care less. Don't believe me I have the emails to prove it. I'll be providing to whomever doesn't believe me how terrible my experience has been. I trusted their Yelp reviews and maybe local moves are ok, but interstate or out of island do not trust and do not use. read more

Great job!! Seeing young men perform the way they did was amazing. Effortlessly moved our heavy couch and bed/ powered bed frame

Highly recommend. Shoutout to the crew: Cody, Jayden and Rakeem. They showed up on time, ready to work! They packed up and moved all of our belongings with care and attention to detail. They were so gracious and understanding - our new building only had one functioning elevator. Even though the job was tedious, they carried on with a great attitude. They were working the entire five hours, and still made time to be friendly and personable. The company was easy to contact - my husband did a quick phone consult for an estimate. Upon confirmation, they were easy to reach via text. Can pay with credit card, although cash is preferred. A receipt was emailed to us. I would recommend this team to anyone looking for a stress-free move! read more

Great service, shown up promptly, charge as promised. Handled with care. Drove safely. True professional.

Due to the traffic jam in H1, the Honolulu Mover's truck arrived 30 minutes late. On the way, I received a traffic jam text from them. It was quite difficult to move from popular hotel condominium in the middle of Waikiki. I booked the elevator in advance, but it was the bad timing for us to unload the stuff by the elevator when same time as check-out time. There were two moving staff, but a young man criticized the front desk staff for not booking the elevator. I hurriedly stopped him and apologized to the front desk staff. Since I have lived for many years, I am well aware that the hotel reception is busy at check-out. However, it is not good to blame the other person with a forbidden word because the young man was frustrated. When I asked why he needed to be so angry, he said it was to save my moving costs. Certainly it is added every hour, so if you can't use the elevator freely, you will be charged an additional fee. He did it for me, but I think he was a little overkill. After that, I helped a lot and tried to shorten the time. The electric reclining leather chair is big and heavy, but he took off legs, wrapped it in a wrap, and carried it carefully. By the time we headed to my new home, it was already over an hour and a half. Fortunately, I got the elevator reservation time shifted in my new house, and we were able to use the elevator exclusively. We were able to bring in our luggage very smoothly. The young man who was furious earlier also worked silently. However, I was careful him because he puts heavy boxes one after another on the leather footrest I just bought. I was relieved because he heard it honestly. After that, both of them worked hard to catch up with the delays so far. In particular, the leader man was a tall handsome man from Ukraine. I think he was always quietly leading the job. He realized that even if he was in a hurry due to an unexpected accident, it would be reassuring and inspirational to concentrate on his work quietly. From the end of the work, we all got together and joked, and we enjoyed our work. The room was surprisingly clean as I was devoted to throwing away the trash and sorting the luggage when the move was complete. However, although it was extended from the schedule, I am grateful that the relocation was completed successfully. The payment will be completed online and the receipt will be emailed to you. Honolulu movers are covered by insurance, but fortunately I didn't have to report that. But today I noticed that the door of my new house was scratched. Is this the issue of the report? I'll call the company tomorrow. Completed a small move yesterday from a storage unit in town to Makakilo. Ala and his co-worker were courteous, hard-working and careful with all of the items. Very pleased with Honolulu Movers and will be recommending them to family/friends! read more

The moving staff were really friendly and capable. They are really respectful to you and of your things. They were on time and didn't complain that we had to keep them a few extra hours. The only issue I had was that they had a couple small things left in their truck but someone came and brought it back. Nothing serious. I've used them five years ago and liked them then so decided to use them again. Because I had worked with them before they gave me a returned business discount! read more

My fiance and I were moving from the 3rd floor of a walkup to a highrise condo. We've never used movers before so we didn't know what to expect, but everyone from this company, beginning to end, was incredibly kind, professional, and a pleasure to deal with. Cristian called me within minutes after putting in my online request for a quote and thoroughly explained the whole process. On the day of the move, Cody and his team were all-stars in moving our furniture and boxes quickly and with care. They moved all of our furniture from a 2-bedroom condo to our new one in 2 hours!! I was shocked - it would have taken me and my fiance literally all day! I also really liked the system they use to communicate with clients - I got text alerts that the team was on their way, that they had arrived, and when the move was done. I also got digital quotes and receipts automatically sent to my email. Very helpful when our house was a mess with boxes everywhere! It's a small thing, but super helpful during a logistically stressful and difficult task like a move. We are so grateful to the entire team that made this move absolutely seamless. If we ever move again, I know who to call!! Big big thank you to the Honolulu Movers team!!!! read more

Still no response, nothing but the run around. Do want to make this clear. I did not pack these boxes. I had asked them to label; only 2 boxes ; labeled "stuff & room" . Paid them to box up , pack and unload. Their unloading process was to dump everything, demand cash & leave. Other reviews do not appear to be from customers. Honolulu Movers was an awesome crew! Punctual, detail oriented, and literally a life-saver with my last minute move. They are incredibly hard working, efficient and really affordable! I would 100% recommend them to absolutely anyone with no reservations. read more

Honolulu Movers were great! The 2 guys that showed-up to unloaded our container were absolutely the best. They were friendly, careful and completed unloading everything really fast. Pricing was reasonable too. We had a container shipped from CA to HI using PODs (a container service used to ship our items by water). We packed this POD container about as full as possible stuffing small items in any space that was available. This presented no issues for our movers. They came on time and prepared. They had boxes to put the small items into and hand truck for the larger items. They worked hard and unpacked everything under 2 hours. We moved into a condo and the loading dock and freight elevator could only be reserved for 4 hours. It all worked out well. Nothing damaged. Had I used the POD's referral moving service, it would have cost a lot more. We highly recommend Honolulu Movers and will use them again when/if we move in the future. read more

They were really nice, the movers told me the guys originally scheduled to move us called out and they had to help us. Didn't seem too happy to help us honestly which I understand your day off and get called in is annoying. They also had a worker who looked to be 16yrs... They had a few vaping breaks & tried to squeeze furniture through doors that ended up scraping & scuff marks. It was okay experience but I personally don't think was worth $1,000+ they seem like good people though. read more

Employees Late and dinged furniture and unit. I highly recommend Honolulu Movers! They were on time, 3 movers as promised in an 18 ft truck. They worked so hard and were very professional. I was moving most of my stuff to a pod to move to the mainland and they understood what was to be moved and what was to stay. They packed the truck like a Tetris game and knew if it fit in the truck it would fit in the pod. They drove up the street to the pods location since there was no room at my house for a pod and they packed it to the roof and there was room left over. The finished in 3 hrs 15 mins! I had tons of heavy stuff that had to be wrapped all from a second story condo. I'm still blown away at how fast they were. So pleased with these boys! read more

Worse company to hire to move your item. Paid $239 per hour to move my things. I packed everything myself, and all they had to do is to load it in their truck and took them 6hr to finish the job due to employees slacking around playing on their phone, vaping while disassembling my dining table. They also have they called a foreman and took over an hour to almost disassemble my two bed frame. How crazy is that?. And even said they need to take a break! When I noticed they were taking their time, I called their manager to report the issue, and the manager had to called his worker on the job and one of them started acting up swearing while moving my things and start to slam my item on the group damaging my furniture. The worker even requested to take a break, which had never happened before when I used them for the first time. Then I called the company again, and they sent two guys 30mins after to load up the rest of the item. When they get to the drop off location and start to get the bed frame assemble, they didn't know what to do or don't know how to install it back, so I had to figure out myself and jump in to finish the assembly. After the job was completed, I started walking around to my furniture/dresser, I noticed major damages. How disappointing to see you work hard to invest in things and a person just break things like nothing happen. I wouldn't mind paying them $1,400 plus if the job was satisfied but not experienced these things. I highly suggest hiring another company to move your things if you dont want to get your things damage or get ripped off from this company. read more

The entire staff was helpful, friendly, and accommodating. We bought a new condo and had painting scheduled a few days prior to the move, but the painting took longer than expected and had to reschedule our move with Honolulu Movers. Courtney was very responsive and was able to reschedule later in the week with no fuss or fee. The day of, the movers called ahead of their arrival, both had face mask on the entire time, they were cautiously swift, shrink wrapped our furniture/beds and packed our hanging clothes in wardrobe boxes. The ONLY reason it wasn't 5 stars is because I was double charged for the services, it was an innocent mistake and they cleared it up the very next day which speaks to their customer service in quickly resolving issues. I would recommend their services to everyone, very professional. read more

Updating my review. Made two moves with this company within the last 5 months, first move, the two guys were great, both professional and efficient. The second move, the two guys did not coordinate or communicate well together. The wrapping, packing and move was not done effectively or in a timely manner. The management did call the next day and apologized for this second team and agreed to follow up, so future customers would not experience the same issues we had. I changed and increased my Yelp rating, as I understand you can't control employees but appreciate companies with management that care enough to take action to have and keep good standards. read more

I would give 10 stars if I could!!! Dillon and another gentleman were the BEST movers we have ever had. We've moved a total of 4 times in the last 6 years so we've seen some movers. They showed up took an inventory told me what they'll be wrapping and how they'll be loading our 20' container. I was nervous when I saw 2 men but they worked harder then any 4 man crew out there!!! My husband and I keep talking about how it's very rare to find people who work hard like them! We moved inter island and loved them so much we offered to fly them over to unload. That was the only bummer is the company wouldn't allow it When we arrived at our destination and opened the container NOTHING MOVED!!! They did great at organizing and loading our furniture with care. FINISHED a 3 bedroom home with 2 guys in just under TWO HOURS!!!! I highly highly highly recommend Honolulu movers and especially recommend you ask for Dillon and the other gentleman I wish I got his name. Even the customer service and scheduling with Chris went great. THANK YOU HM!!! Please expand to outer islands soon read more

100% recommend. Extremely professional & arrived on time.
