They handled several heavy, high-quality pieces including my large 10-drawer wooden dresser from Room & Board, a dining table, and two nightstands with absolute care. Beyond the furniture, they cleared out a full storage unit in my building and moved everything over to my unit at Public Storage. Updated review: Alex was the crew chief, not the owner of the company apparently. The owner is still responsible for properly vetting their workers and responsible for their actions. In response to the owner's comment to my original review: My 8-year-old walking down the stairs is not kids running around. Kids don't sit perfectly still inside a separate room during an 8 hour move. Me touching his truck is not a safety hazard. It was parked. I was only yelled at about it because Alex was mad about being fired from the job and he did it as he was sitting on top of my dresser that was left in front of my house waiting for the other crew to come and exchange the paperwork. I would argue that his workers sitting on top of my dresser was more of a safety hazard to them and to my furniture than me leaning on his parked truck. I would say that taking a picture of my young daughter is a greater safety hazard. What did he do with the picture? As for the owner's suggestion that someone else be there to watch the kids: I don't think he realizes that military families often times must do moves alone due to the military member being deployed. Military families move to Hawaii with no family support, no known babysitters, and no spouse to help them. I'm not going to hire a stranger to watch my kids after they just went through the upheaval and stress of being uprooted from their past duty station they lived for four years 5,000 miles away. There's no school in session in the summer either when many military moves happen. The fact is that I had a stranger in my house yelling, taking pictures of, and frightening my children. I can deal with them being rude to me but when he yelled while my kids were there and took a picture of my daughter and scared her, I felt compelled to write the original review which can be found below this one in case anyone with small kids was thinking of hiring this company. It should be noted the owner never called me to apologize for the incident or get more information about it after the crew was fired. I only heard from them via yelp message after I posted the review, over a year after this move had happened. read more

I really like that! Pretty much an hourly rate for x number of men. We had stairs, actually lots of them, at both locations. No surcharges there. All members of the team moved quickly with care. No wasting time at all. Our move was estimated to be 3-4 hour job, they got it done in 2.5 hours. Everyone was so nice and courteous as well which made a stressful day that much more pleasant. I requested quotes through Yelp to move some furniture from my house to my storage unit. I provided all the information down to each piece of furniture that would need to be moved. Nick was excellent to talk to and was thorough. Today, everything went sour. Mia texted me to request that I confirm the move. I confirmed and let her know that we only have our elevator reserved from 1 pm. Therefore, if they came before then they would be able to come and start disassembling furniture till the elevator was available. I did not have access to my phone to later in the evening and I got a text message saying "Hi Porsche, this is Mia again. Since you are not confirming tomorrow move we have to cancel your reservation tomorrow afternoon." I was shocked. It made no sense because I had confirmed. She kept going on and on arguing with me saying that it's their company policy. I requested to see the company policy multiple times and she continued to avoid the question. I have still yet to see it! Then she stated that she called me, but I had received nothing. Her photos she sent me of the calls were "cancelled" and "2 seconds" in length. I told her that 2 seconds was barely any time for it to go through and ring. I also never received a voicemail. Being that this company only has 8 reviews should have been a red flag already. Other companies are cheaper, but I wanted to help them out and go with a smaller company. Shame on me for helping out the little man. I guess they can't hire reliable staff that is good with the public. Super unprofessional. read more

Horrible! If I could give 0 stars I would! Avoid at all costs, they damaged my tv that was 70" and offered me $100. Kept leading me on and never fixed it. I agreed they could buy me a used comparable tv. At every turn Nick had another stipulation. Till this day I had to go buy my own new tv. I wasn't looking for new and willing to work with them, but they acted as if I was trying to make money off of them. Instead I was asking for $700 plus my military discount and be done...again on a 70" tv that I paid a lot more for the original and more than $700 for the second. I spent hours on phone calls and emails with them for months instead of them deciding to do the right thing. One day they messaged and said Costco had a new tv for I think $650 and I'd just have to give them $200 to buy it. I would have said yes, but the brand was not reliable and my original tv was a reliable brand. They truly acted as if was my fault and blamed it on the age of the tv (10 years) I had no problems and mind you two years prior it was shipped from Florida to Hawaii with Island Mover's and I had a seamless transition with nothing damaged over thousands of miles. Verse them moving me approximately 2 miles with a 550sqft apartment for $1800. The most unprofessional and bullying moving company I've ever dealt with. Don't take a chance and pick another company. read more

They were quick and careful. They made sure that I was aware of any scratches or damages to items before moving them. They moved with precision through the house ( just got my home painted and i still had contractors through out the home)making sure they didn't bump into anything. The only thing I didn't like is they showed up 20mins late and also when it was time to pay, gentleman asked if I wanted to leave a tip for him and his team on the card I was using to pay. I was already going to tip him cash I think the asking for a tip I didn't like. That's just me being honest but definitely recommend them. 395 flat rate for two movers for 2 hours.
