This is the second time I used All American Moving and this is the second time they provided great service! From Arlin, who was very nice and accommodating to the 2 guys that came to do the move. They were very professional and efficient! They helped with packing some of the last minute items and wrapped everything to protect them from damage. Even my neighbors were impressed with how efficient and the amount of care they took with my items. The office called me the day before to confirm the arrival window and they were there right on time! Hopefully I don't have to move again, but if I do, they will be my first choice! read more

EVERYTHING.. They were rude and wasn't even helpful to move the furniture into the proper rooms. They damaged the bed frame, scratched it up, it's not even properly put together and pieces are missing.. Then one of the guys asked to charge his phone and when he did, he went and stood in the back doorway and started vaping then started talking in their own native tongue - probably bitching about work and the customer.. in front of her... If you don't like the job, and you're going to give attitude to the customers, quit and go work some where else.. read more

Looking to move out and in for flooring in the same day? - All American is the one. I searched this for weeks and no other moving company even came close. Arlin at All American is the man to talk to. If you get flooring through Abbey Carpet, they will recommend All American. Once you get the flooring ordered and have the moving estimate from All American, the two will coordinate the move and install so you do't have to. Fantastic service. We put in new carpet in our condo in one day. All American came early and moved all the big furnature (beds, dressers, sofas, chairs, hutch, etc) down 35 stories into their truck in the loading dock and they did it in just over an hour. With everything off the floor the flooring guys (Abbey Carpet) came in and ripped out the old carpet, prepped, put down the padding, then layed the carpet. Took about six hours. As soon as the carpet guys were done, all American arrived at the loading dock and started bringing everything back up. They put everytng back exactly as we wanted it. Everything done in one day! Arlin Solidum went above and beyond to move us off Oahu after living there most of our lives. I never thought we would have such an easy transition moving to the mainland, until we were referred to AAM. He was an excellent communicator, readily available to answer our questions/concerns, and his professional easy going attitude was refreshing. For a very reasonable price the movers packed up all our belongings, came and took our car to Matson, and offered us up to 3 months free storage while we looked for a place in Washington State. When we were ready to receive our items, Lincoln Moving & Storage Tacoma, Wa, brought them to our home and unwrapped/unpacked and accounted for every labeled box. Nothing was missing or broken, and they took away all the packaging. We are forever grateful to have had such an awesome experience with Arlin/AAM. read more

Great team that was fast, efficient, and ridiculously easy to use. Estimate was a few days prior to pack out and the movers were on time the morning of the move. I had a bunch of stuff already boxed up and they ensured everything was padded well or repacked it! Everything was good until they delivered my items and they were somehow soaked in water. I had all my things in 4 big plastic bins and one bin had about 2 inches of water in it that ruined all my electronics (TV, computer, Xbox, monitors etc). My furniture that was not in the bins all got water damaged, so pretty much all the expensive things got destroyed. They emailed me a damage claim to fill out but it's been 2 months since I filed the report and not one single word back about the status of my claim. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I cheaped out and tried to save some money by using them but in the end I lost money because of all the damages I had to pay for. No aloha, no respect. Scrubs. read more

I came across All American Moving through Yelp which is my go to for great, honest & positive reviews. I was in the process of moving from HI to LV and needed a mover to ship my 2 vehicles. Called them a month before my move & asked for a quote and how long it would take to ship my 2 vehicles from HI to LV. Pleasantly surprised that my 2 vehicles could be shipped directly to LV & that I didn't have to worry about going to CA to pick up my cars which was a big plus for me. I then proceed to make an appointment for my first vehicle to be picked up. They told me that it would arrive to LV approximately 2-3 weeks.Both cars arrived in 2 weeks. Any move can be nerve racking, especially from Oahu to mainland. After contacting a few different movers for info and bids I contacted All American Movers. Arlin was very easy to work with, the moving crew was on time, professional, and excellent at their job! They packed every box, loaded truck, and even swept unit when finished. The final price was even lower than initially estimated! The delivery crew in Long Beach, Ca. had the same work ethic as the Honolulu crew. Great guys! I don't know about you, but I HATE moving. Moving FROM Hawaii to the mainland is particularly egregious, but if you've got a move, you simply can not do better than All American Moving. Arlin and his team went way above every step of the way. Boxes delivered to the doorstep, a fair quote and price and friendly communication every step of the way. We had some changes along the way and they did a great job working with us. Moving day itself was painless. One of the movers called in sick so Arlin himself came to help with the move. Talk about a classy guy. And he did it with a smile and an awesome attitude. In fact, all the movers had a great attitude. When our stuff arrived in Long Beach, it sat on the pier for at least a week because of a backload in Long Beach. Arlin and Penny did a great job communicating with us about delivery and I'm pretty sure they made the delivery happen sooner than it would have without their help. Basically, what I'm trying to tell you is if you want to support local business who goes above & beyond in service, well, search no more, you just can't do better than All American Moving. This rating is strictly just for scheduling. We scheduled an in-home estimate/consultation with Arlen for yesterday at 2:30PM. He texted us at about 1:30PM saying his schedule got pushed back and that he'd like to come today (Wednesday) between 3-3:30PM instead and that was totally fine with us so we agreed. It's now 5PM and not a single phone call or text from Arlen with any type of apology or explanation. I started out loving this company--Arlin was SO very nice, professional, and thorough. I was exited to work with such a great seeming company. But then when my moving day was approaching, I called about 6 days before and asked for the boxes, that he had said they would provide for me, and bring to my house. The next day I received an email saying that my time slot was no longer available, and would a different date work--they quoted a date 3 weeks away!!, but that was WAY after when I had to be out of my apartment; and the originally agreed upon moving day was 5 days from this point. I immediately proceeded to freak out, and responded to Arlin's email with MANY questions...to which he responded by saying that my date was never confirmed. I asked him why it was never booked in my follow-up email, along with a CC of his email to me with the original confirmation agreement, and I never received a response after that point. I was never mean or nasty or inappropriate in my messages, only emotional with expressing how panicked I was with a moving cancellation 5 days before a move (I was already paying double rent, and was moving under sad circumstances as it was). I am SO disappointed by this company for the situation they put me in. I spent the entire next 2 days desperately trying to find a replacement moving company...this was so very difficult cause it was the hurricane day (not to mention my birthday too--this situation totally ruined THAT day), and therefore very few companies were answering their phones. Finally one company saved the day--"You Move Me" wonderfully took my reservation very graciously and professionally. They cost quite a bit more, but desperate times calls for desperate measures. In the end, I got moved and all is good now. But, this company caused me extreme stress and duress in an already bad situation. They cost me time, money, and gray hair. I hope that this is an exception for this company, and that they learn not to treat customers this way...I very much hope that no one has to experience what I had to go through. If you're going to use this company, get a clear contract in writing with lots of dates and times and details. I wish Arlin and the company well--again, he is a very nice person and I am sad that our professional relationship had to end this way. read more

All-American moving was amazing!! I found them on yelp and messaged them. They replied very quickly within an hour!! Arlin also called to follow up with some missing details from my end. He scheduled a time to come look at what needed to be moved. The time slot was within a few days of us speaking, very quick and responsive! He was very prompt and friendly, very personable and professional. I was emailed a quote the next business day. Day of move: I was giving a 30 minute window of when the movers would arrive. They were there on time!! Imagine that, movers who show up when they are suppose to. They guys were very friendly, polite very very professional. They took the time to listen to what I wanted and made it work. They took care with my items and moved quickly. They even had wardrobe boxes for me to use. The wrapped my furniture in moving blankets and shrink wrap, even my over size baby toys! They took extra care of my baby toys and made sure they stayed clean, extra points from me there!! When arriving at the new location they handled everything with security got let in, the elevator locked out and moved things right in. They took the time to ask where furniture belonged and which boxes I wanted in each room. They were quick, efficient, professional and friendly!! Total move time 4.5 hours including drive time and 30-45 minutes of having to wait for the elevator at the new location. All-American Moving was absolutely amazing!! I would definitely recommend them to everyone and will use them again...if I ever needed to move. read more

While I was hesitant to pay money to move, I am so glad I did! It was definitely worth it. It would have take our family several trips and all day long with heavy traffic from Young St to Waipahu, not to mention the aches and pain of lifting. The Uhaul I was going to rent was almost half the cost, esp with gas and insurance. All American Moving did the move in a few hours. The moving service was EXCELLENT! I was so very impressed! With the high price of living in Hawaii though I love it here. I had to face it, my retirement was approaching and my husband was medically challenged. My daughter and her family felt the same way. We lived here all our lives and this was a big decision to move to Las Vegas. It made it easy to talk to Penny and she set me up with Arlin. He was easy to talk to and answered all our questions professionally. When we had questions coming up, we would call Arlin and he would put us at ease.
