I created a moving project on Yelp and received about five company recommendations. The Movers were the first to reply back to me. After reading all the reviews, I wanted to support a small local company so I chose The Movers.  Evan and Jerrad were amazing! They were friendly, easy to talk to, professional, and very efficient. They helped me move a queen-size bed with frame, dresser, and two nightstands. They even disassembled the furniture at my friend's house in town and reassembled everything at my house on the west side. Even though it was raining, they stayed positive and handled everything with care. They wrapped each item in plastic for protection and even had a large protective transport cover for the mattress. You can tell they truly care about their customers and their work. I would definitely hire them again for any future moves. If you're looking for a local company to support, Evan and his team at The Movers are the ones to call. Their pricing was reasonable and more affordable compared to the other companies I looked into. They're also working on getting their own company truck soon, which will be great advertising for them because they absolutely deserve the recognition! I also want to mention that Selah was the person I communicated to arrange the details of what I needed. She reached out to make sure we were all on the same page and called me the day before the move to confirm everything, which I appreciated since that seems to be their standard process. So lucky we found Saleh and Evan! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! I'm going to do my best to give the review they deserve. For context, my husband and I downsized from a 2 bd 2 bath to a 1 bd 1 bath. My first impression was speaking on the phone with Saleh -- she is the reason this company thrives. Her attention to detail and active listening skills amazed me from the start. We chatted on the phone and I didn't even realize she gathered all the information she needed without overwhelming me with questions. I genuinely feel like she was my friend helping me plan my move. Saleh removes the unnecessary stress you feel before a move (how cool of her!!) For example, I was so worried about our Costco couch being too big and she simply asked that I text her a picture and she would show it to Evan (the owner and her partner in crime) when he got home from a move job. They got back to me the same day and assured that the couch was no problem. Saleh also called the day before the move to confirm that the movers will be there and wanted to check in (this call was so comforting since I was so stressed the day before our move). It was a peace of mind knowing the movers were confirmed and I could count on them! The day of the move we met Evan, the owner of the company. He is the reason this company works - he's the engine. Evan's work ethic is amazing and his Can-Do attitude is infectious. I couldn't help but offer the guys food and water because the two of them were moving so much I knew they needed more fuel. Evan allowed us to help with moving because we didn't want to break the budget -- this was really cool of him because some company's don't allow that. We thought our move was going to be all day and we did it in 2 hours. My point is, Saleh and Evan treated us like we were more than customers. Their neighborly approach is the reason my husband and I had a successful move and WILL be calling them for our next one.
