Found EZ movers on Craig's list in July, knowing we'd be moving in Sept. I knew right away that this was the right company for us. We worked out the details that I wanted: 3 men to pack, move and unpack (set up). No move is ever that EZ (lol) but this one was going down one level to the exact same layout of the apt!!. No truck needed for the move, until the very end for old hospital bed removal. They got here early with Frank, the owner, introducing himself and his 3 man crew. Frank left and the men got busy!! I had to stay out of the way in my new hospital bed and my husband could only help supervise the places of putting things back. He and I are seniors and unable to do moving. In 3 hours, the men called Michelle, Frank's wife, and business co-owner, and told her they were pau. But Michelle was not convinced the job was done, so she showed up with 1 more man and 1 hour later, the job Was done!! The job done was Excellent!! The time done was Excellent! Because we were shipping our household goods in a POD to the mainland, she advised us of items that should be protected with blankets and they would do the shrink wraps. We've moved quite a few times and this was by far the best moving experience we've had. They took such great care of our furniture as if it was their own. We packed and moved our boxes and only used the company for the furniture. They moved three dressers and broke one of them. They moved one dining table, which they took apart, and dropped a piece and spent almost an hour (that I paid for) trying to find it. They moved four beds. One of the beds was too heavy, and they dropped on the floor and damaged it (see picture). They didn't know how to move the beds upstairs. When we offered advice on how to do it, they refused and damaged my walls. They left SO many damages to the walls, door frames, and hand rails it was unbelievable. One of the attached pictures shows a picture I hung to cover the major damage but you can still see the smaller damage. They moved two file cabinets and damaged both. They no longer close all the way and we cannot use the locks (see photo). They damaged the brand-new oven because they didn't see the anti-tip bracket on the floor and pushed the oven until it was damaged (see picture). They moved one sofa and ripped it (see photo). They moved two end tables, which were already damaged - they damaged them even further. One of the four movers was great! The other ones, not so much. One guy was so high he was clumsy. Everyone smelled the marijuana coming from the truck when they opened up the truck. We called Frank, the owner, to see if he could file an insurance claim for the damaged items. We weren't going to ask for much -to replace the file cabinets and fix the oven. He yelled at me, complained, and blamed my friends who were there, saying that they didn't know how to move. He gave me $80 to replace one of the file cabinets but refused to file a claim and take responsibility for any of his guys. Frank yelled at me and told me that my friends damaged the stuff. The only thing I took pictures of and am reviewing are the damages I physically saw EZ movers do. read more

I needed last minute help disassembling a bunk bed and having it moved for carpet installation. I called at 11:00 pm in desperation after initial movers flaked out. I got a text back right away with a quote. I asked if I could confirm the next day. I initially was trying to schedule for Wednesday but on Tuesday asked if they could move me on Tuesday. Michelle called me and said they could help me. When I asked for the shift lead or the manager on duty that day of my move she refused to provide that information. And when I said I was going to cancel my move with her she said she was going to report me to Yelp! What in the world kind of business model is this? Absolutely horrible customer service. I would 100% not recommend. Save your money and go elsewhere to a company that values your time, money, and business. The owner then marked the Yelp! Conversation as SPAM and flagged it as retaliation for not doing business with her. You folks can thank me later for saving you the trouble of any kind of interaction with her. Not only was this a gleaming example of extremely poor customer service, but how vindictive, malicious, and most of all unethical of the owner of this company to attack me, the customer, for not doing business with her. Reviewed the way forward and got the job done right! The path was narrowed so they carried the refrigerator over the counter and got it at the right location. NOBODY likes moving! So when I started planning the moving date a couple months out, Michelle was on point with being super communicative and was able to accommodate me when I had to change my moving date due to some circumstances. I originally had booked 2 movers for the day, but was so glad that she recommended a 3rd person...I didn't realize I had so much stuff! Movers- the movers arrived on time. Duke, Anthony and Abraham are hard workers! Originally we were going to rent a Uhaul and have my boyfriend's family help us to move, but after seeing these guys at work...maaaan, we're so glad that we didn't because it would've taken us all day LOL It helps if you communicate with them from the get go as far as living in a house or condo...if there is a loading area...if they have to park away from your home and walk 2 blocks etc. I lived on a 2nd flr of a condo and they were able to work out a system of moving stuff from the 2nd floor walkway, straight down to their truck. Efficient! When they got to our new place, they even brought stuff up to the 2nd floor and helped to assemble our bed back together! Overall it took about 4.5 hours from start to finish. My husband called and his call was quickly picked up by the owner. We needed their service to move a large french glass door and 70 boxes of new floor tile to be dropped off at Habitat for Humanity. We were notified they were able to do the job the following morning at 9am. We arrived and found their 2 men and truck already arrived by 830am. Sam and Abe were wonderful. The weight and large frame was difficult but they managed to get it loaded on their truck. The boxes of tiles were very heavy and they were quick to carry and load it all on their truck. Drove to Habitat for Humanity and delivered all within 2 hours. Payment were sent an invoice by email and payment was made to Michelle Carvalho via Venmo. Great Job! Wow! What a great company! The person that picked up the phone was very informative as to when the movers were going to show up and sent me their business card. They were right on time and our move of the refrigerator went smoothly. The guys were so strong that they didn't even need a dolly or anything and was able to bring our refrigerator from the backyard all the way down 3 flights of narrow stairs and into the garage.
