It's only Good Mana with Mana Movers! Mana Movers was quick to communicate, great price, superb service, and just all around good people. I was relocating from a two-story hillside house with a hella-steep driveway, and of course most of my heavy bulky furniture is located on the second floor. When I first moved in, the original moving company did a little ceiling damage (totally unavoidable) getting my cal king extra deep mattress up the staircase. My landlord wanted to patch it up, but I declined since we'd eventually move out, and would probably add to the damage LOL. That day has come. Mana Movers managed to get the mattress down the stairs without additional ceiling damage. Other heavy items (two antique buffets and a Feathers sectional couch!) were wrapped and handled with care. I found Rhyeces' moving company on Yelp. After getting quotes from several companies, I decided to move with Mana because they were able to provide an accurate quote and communicating with them on Yelp was easy and fast and professional. They also were able to respond via text with further questions. It was a pleasure working with them before the move. On moving day, they arrived during the scheduled window and quickly assessed what items needed to be moved. They also carefully wrapped my TV, couch, and other items that were prone to scratching. I also had gym equipment that was heavy and they had no problem handling it and moving all my items to a smaller apt. I will definitely use them again when my rental lease is up. read more

I called for a qoute and inquiry. Lady I spoke with was nice and we scheduled a walk thru for last month for a service in May 2025. Walk thru appt day and showed. Called but no one answer and left a message. No one reached out to me or called back. Also emailed them but the email was invalid, double checked the email from their site. So I really didn't want to leave a bad review because everyone was very nice and booking them was very easy! They have great rates as well! And communication was very efficient. However, there were lots of little issues that I just was going to get over. Until you add up all the issues and it is now just too much. First of all, these guys are slow! I've moved 3 times now, all hiring movers. And these guys are by far the slowest. Our estimate was 2 hours given the list of inventory we provided. It ended up being 3 hours (honestly, it probably would've been 4 if we didn't help and if we addressed the issues which I will mention). Whatever, we could get over an extra hour, especially since the rates were the most competitive. It's worth mentioning because our list of inventory was to the T of what they had to do so the estimate should've been really good. We also felt like what contributed to the extra time was them unassembling furniture that didn't need to be unassembled. They took 2 legs off our couch... and left 4 other legs on. So why did they take the random 2 legs off? And then in putting the legs back on when unloading, they didn't screw it in all the way. They used tools to take off the legs but then didn't use any to put them back on so we ended up having to flip the couch over and doing it ourselves. They dropped off a lot of stuff randomly. But also, no biggie. We went to the garage to get pieces that they left there from our tv stand that was unloaded into the living room. Another minor issue was the lack of care for our stuff. There were multiple shoe prints on one of the beds. Even though it was wrapped in plastic wrap? Again, it's fine because we were going to wash the sheets anyways. Just surprising to find such obvious dirt on the bed. The biggest issue that prompted my review has to do with the bed frames. They took apart my kids trundle bed and put it back together at the new house. However, when we went back to the old house to clean up, we found 10 screws in the kids room! These are 10 screws that clearly belonged to the bed and holds the bed together! How could you remove 10 screws and just leave them? I can't even begin to guess how unsafe the kids beds are right now. And then, we found more screws from another bed frame as well. So 2 out of 2 bed frames are completely unstable. And if they took the time to put it back together the way they took it apart, we would probably be well into the 4th hour. In addition to not rebuilding the bed frames, we have a desk that had to be taken apart. And the way it was put back together was so poor. Another thing on the list to redo now as well. Had a large adjustable bed that I needed moved upstairs, as well as bring my old cal king bed downstairs. Rhyece and his helper came to do the job. They came in the timeframe they said they would, they were polite and efficient. They asked if some pictures could be removed during the move, as they didn't want anything to get broken while moving the large heavy items. I like that attention to detail. They straightened up the boxes that were left and even asked if I wanted them to dispose of them. They also asked if I needed anything else moved while they were there. Overall, this was a great experience and I'm glad I contacted Mana Movers to move my items. I'm sure I'll use them again for my moving needs and I'll recommend them to my family and friends. If I could give this company 10 stars I would! From the start of getting information about this company from Numela to the movers (Reese and Jessie), this company is top notch. Numela broke down the price and her estimate of how many hours it would take (and honestly their price is really good). Then she was quick to let me know their availability and adjusted the contract quickly if I wanted to change or add things. Then the movers...Reese and Jessie were so professional and fast! They were courteous, quick, didn't slack in any way, and worked really hard to make sure there were no scratches or loose pieces when moving. Unlike other movers I have seen, these two didn't talk too much about what the plan was. It's like they already knew and worked so well together. They were also precise on cost. My move took a little longer, but they documented their start and time perfectly that I knew they didn't take advantage of anything. We used Mana Movers twice now in the past 3 months. The first time we hired them, they moved our belongings from a storage pod, up 6 stairs and into our new home. They were fast, efficient and were done in less than the time they quoted with 2 workers shouldering majority of the load. One of those workers included the owner Ryeece. He arrived early and even offered to stay a little longer to help move some additional items that were not in the pod. The second time we used mana movers was to relocate our 2nd refrigerator from in our home to our garage. Their prices are very reasonable and their response time via phone and email were spot on. I had to move a machinery that weighed over 750lbs and when I gave them the info, they responded right away, even after hours and were able to accommodate my request in less than 24 hours of notice (were able to squeeze me in the next day morning). Rhyece and his team are top notch professionals. We had to move a lot of bulky items for our move recently. Mana movers had the best rate out of everyone I requested a quote from. Everything was done through yelp. On the day of the move they showed up on time, put ok their masks and got to work. The team really moved fast and was able to move our items without a hitch. We did have one thing but that was my neighbor wanting to buy our fridge after Mana movers loaded up the fridge on the truck. They didn't complain and removed the fridge and placed it back with a smile. They wrapped and loaded everything else as if it was there own. Back in January we hired a moving company and we had a not so great experience on the last day of move, since we had to move out that day they were a no show. We scabbled looking for movers last minute and when I came across Mana Movers they took the time to see if they were able to take us last minute and they did. Not only was the lady in office really sweet and friendly but all the workers were friendly and professionals. I did not meet them but my co-workers who were guiding them where the items needed to go mentioned how professional and what a difference between Mana Movers and the previous movers. They came prepared the location that they were bringing the items to was at a condo and they came with an extra small truck that was so helpful in getting the items up to the storages at another floor we had at the condo building. After living in Makakilo for 7 years, my husband and I were both saddened, shocked and stressed when we received word in July that we had just 24 days to move out of our townhome we came to love so much. Our home saw us through some of the best times and worst times. It's where we raised our kids, made a lot of great friends and loved the strong sense of community where we all had each others backs. Our owners didn't comply with State of Hawaii law which mandates 45 days notice upon receipt of vacating the premise. That in and of itself was stressful to say the least! And then we had one of my husbands "friends" tell us we could rent out her place in Kalihi which was riddled with mold, filth and overgrown trees and bushes practically growing in to the hale only for her to tell us she wanted to see a bank statement with at least $14,500.00 in the account. Dismayed, in disbelief and insulted, the stresses of moving was growing on us by the day. We then found our current apartment in Makiki but was faced with trying to figure out the logistics of the move and had gone to three different companies before we took to Facebook in search of finding an AFFORDABLE and REASONABLE quote and found Mana Movers. As previously mentioned we were already weary from everything but that all came to a stop when we made contact with Numela and her husband (owners of Mana Movers). They provided a quote for our move after I answered some of their questions. Our BIG concern was our beds. We have a Far Eastern King (bigger than a California king) as well as a queen bed. Both of the beds are wooden framed and needed to be disassembled and then reassembled when it was moved in to our new place. Numela reassured us that it's a service they regularly provide and it wouldn't be a problem. The day of the move came with much angst and high hopes and boy did they deliver!! The crew were very hard workers, literally running from the truck to our hale and back with our furniture and possessions all while giving it the most care and attention I've ever seen from a moving company! To say that we were impressed was an understatement! We were SO RELIEVED for them and I'd use them again should the need ever arise again. I can tell you that you won't be disappointed with them! They're kind, attentive and caring throughout the whole process. I'd HIGHLY suggest their services to anyone moving intra-island. From my last conversation with them, they're only servicing the island of O'ahu but are hopeful and ambitious to grow their company to neighbor island moves as well. I had to leave the house due to something that came up at the last minute, so a friend had to come over while they were moving my furniture. They were so quick; they were done before I even got home. I was not expecting them to be that fast! Unfortunately, I didn't check things before they left and a bed that was supposed to be moved to the garage was still in the 2nd floor bedroom. My friend wasn't sure that was on the list of things to move. I contacted them to see how much it would be to have them return later to do that. They apologized as it was on the "to move" list and returned to move it for free. I then asked how much if I wanted to add an exercise machine to the list too. Figured, couldn't hurt to ask. These guys are the real deal! We just used them for our move from a high rise building to second floor walk up. We had to change the date a few times because of set backs to our closing and they were very accommodating. On the day of our move we were not able to reserve an elevator because of repairs that were being completed on the building, this caused major delays for our timelines and a lot of extra work for these guys but they got it done with no complaints! The crew that came the first day would not do anything saying my home was filled with cat feces (there was none except for the litter box that I had not yet cleaned that day. Numela and Rhyeece came the next day and did all of the work themselves which was a big help. Unfortunately, I discovered problems after the move. 3 lamp shades disappeared after they left my home. All boxes were over filled and resulted in several things being broken despite having a single layer of bubble wrap around them. Most Importantly, there were items missing. One of those being an afghan I had crocheted more than 30 years ago. I would only recommend them for simple moving but not for a major move or if you have personal items you cherish. read more

The owners were really nice and tried to rectify the situation, but was the worst moving experience: was quoted 2-4 hours max for a studio move took over 8 hours, they arrived late (probably because they had forgotten that we had scheduled a move for that day some kind of scheduling erro) our bed frame screws were lost so my husband had to drive back and forth from north shore to kaneohe to help find the "lost" pieces so we would have our bed to sleep on after a long day of moving. We hired this company even though we had a very small studio space to pack because we had a 4month old baby and only one day off to move so we planned the move early so we would have time to unpack essentials and it ended up being a nightmare. My hubby and his friends could've moved us faster, we were trying to simplify our life. The owner's were spoken with at the end of the day and agreed to pay for 4 hours max instead of 8+ hours because of how things turned out.
