Our home has 44 steps leading up to the front door, which meant every single item had to be carried up those stairs. Sam, Kalele, Pavel, Elliot, and Savion handled it like absolute pros. They spent the entire day climbing those steps over and over again while carrying everything from couches and shelving units to heavy furniture and solid bed frames. They even hauled up a large freezer (still full of food) along with 1,500+ vinyl records, which anyone who collects records knows are incredibly heavy. Despite the workload, they stayed organized, careful, and professional the entire time. Nothing felt rushed, and they treated our belongings with real care. What impressed us just as much as their work ethic was their attitude. Every single person on the crew was phenomenal: friendly, polite, kind, and genuinely helpful throughout the entire move. The quality of the team also says a lot about the company itself. I didn't get a chance to meet the owner, Keith, but if this crew is any indication of the standard he runs his company by, it's a very high one. It's rare to come across a team that works this hard while still maintaining such a positive and professional attitude. Moving is stressful, but these guys made the process smooth and even enjoyable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Endless Summer Movers to anyone looking for a reliable, hardworking, and genuinely great moving crew. Are they worth the money? Oh, absolutely!

Not only did they provide the lowest price point but they also made me feel truly cared for. My initial call was with Paige. She was lovely, upbeat and helpful. She calmed my concerns and helped me de-stress. I felt my family was in good hands after a few minutes of talking. Paige is great at what she does! My next few calls were with Jordan who seemingly was available 24/7. He never missed a call and helped me navigate a tricky move. He was transparent and realistic about what expectations my family and I should have. He went above and beyond to take care of my family as if they were his own relatives. On moving day, Ty and Brandon were unbelievably efficient, hardworking, thorough and kind. My grandma doesn't speak much English but the language barrier proved no problem in the face of Ty and Brandon's kindness. Ty and Brandon were undoubtedly impressive. Professional from start to finish. Crazy strong and fast. They were efficient yet careful. No damage to any of our belongings. Ty and Brandon worked quickly in order to help my family save costs--even doing extra things to help like move a whole fridge to make my life easier. What was estimated to take 3.5-5 hours took the pair of them 2.5 hours. This is with one tall flight of stairs at the old apartment and FOUR flights of winding stairs at the new. Unreal. My family has moved twice before but no other moving company left anywhere near the same positive impression as YouMoveMe. Tyron and Brandon left quite the impression on my family--so much so that they know who they want to call for their next move. YouMoveMe humanizes the moving experience and actually makes it enjoyable. They offer the best prices and best service. They don't charge for the walkthrough like many other companies, and charge by 15-min increments after the first hour. Please be sure to tip your movers. They work hard and their jobs are not easy--though Ty and Brandon make it seem like it. Highly recommend YouMoveMe! The most professional moving company yet.

We had originally been planning on renting a UHaul from Pam (WSS) but I figured that this might be better since our move was from Waianae to Makiki. I contacted Hero and they called me back. . .I swear like 12 minutes later. I spoke to Jordan and received a rough quote, informing him that our move date was still fluid. A few weeks later we got our confirmation into the apartment and I actually communicated with Jordan through TEXT to sign the quote and make the final arrangements as I had gotten sick and lost my voice. That was VERY useful because it took a few days for my voice to come back. From Waianae to Makiki I was quoted under $1,500 to move furniture from the single bedroom we were in to a one bedroom apartment. Which might seem like a lot for 2 desks, 2 shelves, a bed and boxes but you need to remember that this is Waianae to Makiki. . . Anyway, 3 days before the move disaster struck! Our new landlord decided that they didn't want us there and they were going to keep the apartment empty in order to have an easier time selling the building in the future. With 72 hours notice I was able to contact Jordan and redirect our move from Makiki to our storage unit at Waikele Self Storage. What did Jordan say? "Yes we can!" No additional charges, no argument, no triggering some weird policy to make the process a pain, just a "Yeah, sure." Which was excellent in such a stressful situation. Moving day! Our crew was great. They packed random loose items fast, hauled furniture out quickly and safely, and were respectful in our home. They moved 5 large furniture items down a hall, a flight of stairs and down another hall without hitting a single wall, navigating long furniture items down our tight staircase with no damage. The people they sent, who gave us their names but my ADHD couldn't hold onto them, were approachable, friendly and thorough throughout the process and they were in and out quick. Once we got to WSS they helped us load everything into our unit, called their boss, their boss called me and everything was paid for. This was such an easy process from when I picked up the advertisement in the storage office to when we watched them drive away with our money. 10/10 service, I highly recommend Hero Moving.

I called Gabe a couple years later to get a quote for my client's move from one unit to another at Pohai Nani. Along with that one of the beds was to be moved to a residential location in Kapolei. Gabe arrived late to the appointment but I didn't let that bother me because my first experience with HERO was excellent and I figured he was busy. He said he was late because he just came from a job on the neighbor island. At the appointment he seemed so disengaged it was almost weird. I thought ok he must be tired from being so busy. He said he would call me back with a quote and never did. Never returned any of my calls. I thought that was rude especially since I used his business in the past. If he wasn't able to service my clients he should have communicated that to me. This was a big disappointment because I had to hustle to quickly find another mover for my clients. Good thing I found one and have been using them since. As a realtor I need reliable movers for my clients. I don't know what happened to Hero Moving Company. Went from HERO to ZERO.

I explained I had a 2bdrm, 2bath apartment with a digital keyboard and piano and asked if they could help. I explained that I had limited mobility issues due to an injury and that time was of the essence. She said absolutely they could help and that their rate was $280 per hour for a truck and 2 movers with a 2 hour minimum. She told me that for the 2 people it would be another $280 per hour and said once they assessed the apartment, an additional person would be $50 per hour. Although their website stated they were women owned and operated, only men showed up on the day of the move. I found out shortly afterwards that they were actually subcontractor who worked for a completely separate company. They did not appear to be knowledgeable about packing and stuffed my clothes which were hanging in plastic bags into other plastic bags to take to the truck. When a worker saw the piano, Carol was called and she told me there would be an additional charge and it couldn't be moved until the next week. I did have that kind of time. That was when one of the workers told me that I could speak with his boss to get a quote to move the piano separate from 808ASAP Movers. That caught me off guard as the quote that I originally received included moving the piano. This resulted in a lot of confusion, chaos, and raised voices. I then negotiated with the other workers boss to try to coordinate getting the piano out. Meanwhile, the person who was packing did not pack properly and broke a lot of my dishes and glasses, along with other things. After my belongings were moved to the new apartment, they left trash behind, and a trail of rubbish all the way down the stairs. A person from my former apartment complex came and took pictures and was going to fine me for the cleanup. A lot of my things were broken in the move as I discovered after unpacking in the new apartment....apparently since they did not have a dolly and carried things by hand or either dragged things to the truck. I repeatedly asked for a paid invoice after the move and was treated in the the most unprofessional and rude way Imaginable, even to the point of being threatened by a woman named Ally on the phone. After calling and emailing Carol for a copy of the paid invoice which is pretty standard practice by any reputable company, they blocked my number and would not answer or return any of my calls or emails. When I tried calling the Alabama number, it referred back to the Hawaii number. When I went to their physical address, it was actually an apartment complex, called the Oasis in Waipahu and not an industrial park or any commercial establishment. That by itself is a huge RED FLAG! When I checked with the Better Business Bureau, I discovered they have a number of complaints and have been operating without the proper license and insurance is for years. This is horrible! For any and all unsuspecting customers. When I called the contractor who actually did the move, I was met with the same rude and obnoxious behavior. Apparently they saw my phone number and would not answer or take my calls after I explained my dilemma with them in seeking a copy of a paid invoice. When I called a reputable competitor to find out what their rate would be to move a two bedroom two bath apartment with the piano, their rate was much less than $560 an hour I was charged by this unlicensed and uninsured company. I would absolutely never recommend this group of people who are putting themselves out as Movers to anyone not even my worst enemy! On top of that, they broke a lot of things, a lot of my furniture, including dishes, and left a mess which I have included below. I feel that this group of people took advantage of my situation, my limited mobility issues, and the stress I was under, and leveraged it to their benefit. This is not OK. Not in Hawaii. This is not the Aloha Spirit. Rather far from it.

I went ahead and did some research to help only to stumble upon Schmidt; at first I was a bit skeptical due to the lack of reviews but due to the worldwide pandemic it was difficult to find an affordable company that was available to assist us at such a short notice. We settled on this company due to their availability and price. And honestly.. I am glad we did. Everything was delivered punctually without a single delay. All of her furniture and belongings (fragile items included) arrived safely without any damages/scratches/rips/tears. You can definitely tell that they they took the time and effort in ensuring quality when it came to their packaging. Due to the new size of her new apartment, she realized that her current couch didn't fit well in her new space so instead of throwing it away we decided to give it to our aunt. Schmidt assisted us in further moving the couch to the next location with no complications at all. Overall, I am satisfied with the service they had provided for us. Not only did they respond to our messages very quickly, but they also respected us the entire time. Not only did SIS deliver all his things properly to my household, but they also gave ME a call shortly after it arrived. The person I spoke to notified me that one of the boxes held all the baby food and perishables, and advised me to refrigerate it as soon as possible. The funny thing is, the company told me about this but my friend never did lol. It probably slipped his mind with all the moving but it was very generous for the company to go out of their way to inform me! Some may think it's not a big deal but I was impressed by that small gesture. All in all, I would use SIS if I was a local in Hawaii!
