really good soft serve. the store is right next to hey tea so it's pretty popular. i've tried their matcha and original soft serve with the honeycomb and it's all pretty solid. i would recommend just getting the honey drizzle because the honey comb can be hard to swallow and the more you chew it the waxier it becomes.

Honeymee is located in a busy shopping plaza as it's surrounding by lots of other businesses. They have a couple of tables for indoor seating. I ordered the honeymee which is some of their ice cream with a chunk of honeycomb. It was a nice little sweet treat, I'd like to come back and try some of their other flavors.

I am such a sucker for milk ice cream and it's my favorite ice cream flavor. Such a simple flavor but is so delicious when it's done well! There used to be a Honeymee near where I'm from but they closed down so I haven't had it in years. It was just as good as I remembered if not better! I got the darling which is just a plain milk ice cream. It was so amazing that I finished the entire thing and I never usually finish my ice cream because I get too full but I literally couldn't stop eating. My friends and I sat inside, it's really bright and there were a few small tables. It's right next to Heytea and the best part is that it's just as good but there's never a line!

Get a Matcha Sweetie Honeymee! Service was lightingfast. This is one of my favorite dessert places because the honey spread crystallizes with the frozen matcha ice cream. There's seating inside too away from the heat!

I am absolutely obsessed with this place. My go to's are the honey comb matcha soft serve and the salted chocolate milkshake. This place offers so many options. The place is always clean and staff are courteous. It's always a must dessert spot when I'm in Irvine!

Yuzu Affogato

it's been awhile since i've had honeymee, so i was impressed that the soft serve was still really good! they have added on a lot of new flavors since i've been, and i tried out the yuzu affogato which was a vanilla based soft serve topped with a yuzu syrup and had corn flakes on the bottom. the tartness of the yuzu paired really well with the sweet vanilla, and the corn flakes added a nice crunch! this was a really good and balanced sweet treat, and definitely big enough to share it was decently crowded for a random tuesday evening, but service was really quick and efficient. there are a few tables and chairs to sit and eat, but it fills up pretty quickly since the shop is kinda small.

I love Honeymee! It has been consistent the past few years and I feel like the price is reasonable for what you get. My favorite ice creams are the yuzu, the carmel, and the plain. I think that it is worth it after a filling meal. There are usually younger people running it, but they are very polite.

We came around 8PM debating on what sweet treat to get in the area and chose here! There was a kiosk for you to order or you could order with the cashier. There was also limited seating indoors so more so a grab and go situation if there aren't seats available. We ordered the matcha honeymee and the brown sugar boba ice cream. Both were really delicious although would have loved if the syrups were more infused in the ice cream.

Dalgona Affogato (Dalgona sweet crunchy chips, honey swirl, milk ice cream) Yumm!!

My experience was good this time. There was a nice, efficient lady working at the counter. The store is clean with few tables and chairs as before. Our ice cream came out fast. They also added tons of flavors that somehow weren't available on delivery apps. I've ordered through delivery apps a couple of times from this location but they only show sttandard flavors. Their ice cream is still as nice and not too sweet. I ordered the Dalgona flavor this time, which tasted like coffee chips on the milk ice cream with some sort of caramel/ honey swirl. It was good but not as special as I had thought. Con: no Loyalty card was suggested so I didn't accumulate any points for these ice cream.

It's been yearsss since I had Honeymee. It used to be my go-to in college. I randomly came across this location last week and am happy to report that the soft serve is still the same - silky smooth and not too sweet, which is the perfect base for the honey or any other toppings. This time, I actually gave the yuzu affogato a try. The yuzu sauce was a little overpowering and quite sweet. After trying a few items over the years, the honeycomb soft serve is still my personal #1. This location is quite small with a few seatings, but bright and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. :)

Love that they're open late. My friend ordered Oreo coffee and she loved it. I enjoyed my original soft serve with honey.

Honey Affogato

HoneyMee is easily one of the best ice cream spots I've tried! Their ice cream is made from fresh milk, and you can really taste the difference -- it's smooth, rich, and not overly heavy. I walked in and was helped right away. The staff was so nice and helpful, especially since I couldn't decide what to order -- they gave great recommendations that did not disappoint. They have a great variety of options, from classic soft serve to milkshakes. I ordered the honey affogato and it was AMAZING -- the combination of coffee and honey sweetness was perfectly balanced. Not too bitter, not too sweet... just right.I also tried my son's Oreo milkshake and wow, it was so good -- creamy, indulgent, and packed with flavor. Definitely a spot I'll keep coming back to whenever I'm craving something sweet!

There were about 3 people ahead of me in line and a few waiting for drinks, but I was able to order and get my drink in around 10 minutes. Staff was very friendly and checked in with us while waiting in line! I ordered the Matcha Two, which comes as a matcha latte topped with salted matcha vanilla cream foam. The foam was velvety and creamy. The matcha had a smooth, earthy flavor with subtle sweetness. Oatmilk was the default choice, and while I usually think oatmilk can overpower matcha, it worked well in this drink. It is a little pricey for 1 drink, but that also seems to be the norm these days for specialty drinks. This is more of a grab-and-go spot than a place to hang out. There's no seating, just a bench inside, and everyone waited outside since the interior is on the smaller side. Parking was easy when I went. Overall, a pleasant experience for a yummy matcha drink, and I'd definitely come back to try more of their matcha menu!

They only allow one party in the shop at a time. You order with one person, and then they send you to the cashier to pay. Once you place your order, the drinks come out pretty quickly. I love a good Blueberry Matcha, so I knew I had to try one. The matcha latte has oat milk and their house blueberry puree. I really enjoyed it! They also have their Matcha Lattes "One," "Two," and "Three." We opted for the Matcha Three which includes salted matcha vanilla ice cream and matcha sorbet, oat milk, and house vanilla syrup. It was pretty good! Lastly, we got the Coconut Pandan Green Rice drink which sounded unique! It's ice blended with coconut cream, pandan coconut rice, and condensed milk. It's a thicker drink with more texture from the rice. I'll be back!

On this visit, I had the caramel banana latte, which had a very nice flavor and was not too sweet. There is lots of seating inside and out with spaces for working/studying more inside and relaxing outside. Its also a great place if you want to take some nice IG photos. The staff is friendly and make drinks quickly. But the coffee drinks themselves are just ok. We both had Cortados this time and they were a little tasteless and too hot. Drinkable but not worth coming back for. Last time I came in alone and had a Flat White that was terrible and I dumped it out. I did not have time to ask for another but I'm sure they would have remade it. Wall Writers is located in an office complex but in a good way. There is plenty of free parking and in the afternoon and on Saturdays you can park right at the entrance. The restroom is located in a separate building across the courtyard and watching people search for it can be mildly entertaining LOL It is a nice place to work with plenty of natural light and a wonderful patio for enjoying nice weather. I just wish the drinks were a little better. But because of the convenient location I will probably try it again. Maybe Ill try something iced?

I thought the whole thing was gross. NorCal's Phin Cafe is way better, along with the other Vietnamese egg/ube/pandan/etc coffee places that have been hype on social media lately (Phin Smith does not have some of these flavors - they're behind!). - Coconut Coffee The marbling is kind of cute, but the flavor is not potent or good enough. We've had plenty of coconut coffees pop up in NorCal and Phin Smith's coffee was meh. It was just missing creaminess, sweetness, coconut flavor, wasn't too strong on the coffee, and had a little extra water/crushed ice dilution. If rating this itself, it'd be average to below average. We had to add their self-serve simple syrup to make it taste better. We usually don't need to add anything when ordering at various places in NorCal because they actually get it right. - Peach Breeze Disgusting, one of the worst beverages that I've ever consumed in my life. It literally just tasted like someone opened canned peaches and added water to it. I AM NOT EXAGGERATING. I also asked for half ice and a majority of the thing was still large ice cubes. I don't drink coffee, but I'm not sure if I would have liked their other drinks on the menu considering their best selling coffee was barely satisfactory. Other than the subpar drinks, the inside had some sticky spots and could use some cleaning with actual cleaning product. Lots of people seemed to be enjoying themselves on their laptop, and I saw a few people buy their coffee bags. I liked how there was a cute motorbike outside and on the logo. I'll also add an extra star for having reasonable prices, so I didn't feel scammed after drinking this horrible concoction.
