This is a pretty big homegoods, always has new stuff. My only complaint are the checkout lines! Every time I visit I wait in line for minimum 30-40 min just to check out! It's a bit ridiculous. Not sure why they don't open more registers when they see a huge line. read more

Homegoods is full of reasonably priced albeit random housewares. I would say that I actually prefer this location to the newer one in La Canada-Flintridge, as they seem to get new inventory every few days. Stuff I've purchased here for my condo the past few months: accent lamp, quilt, sheets, pillowcases, bathmat, garbage cans, bathroom storage rack, you name it. Admittedly, I don't always have the designers eye. So I will normally ask staff or fellow shoppers for a hand in matching colors with pics on my phone. Works every time. I always come here with one thing in mind and leave with three. Good selection, reasonable prices, that generally beats the generic housewares you can buy at Target or other chain stores. read more

Love this store. I recently started coming (less than a year) and every time I come I just want to buy almost everything in there. The prices are reasonable for some items. There have been items here that I haven't been able to find anywhere else. I came by on Saturday and they have implemented the limited number of customers inside policy (90). Didn't wait much in line. The only thing I don't like is that they don't allow their carts to go outside the store. read more

First off there was not a single shopping cart in the store and no one was out gathering them. The employees were stocking the shelves and in the process they had the very narrow aisles blocked.They could see shoppers struggling to get around these full carts and a big,rolling metal thing and their attitude was like we shoppers were in their way trying to navigate through the store. The checkout line was when I left the merchandise I was going to purchase,as it had about 30 people in line and only TWO cashiers. Nobody that works in this place gives a damn about the customers. Dropped in today to see if I could find some last minute Halloween goodies. I did actually find a really cool Headless Horseman. That was the positive of my visit. I was walking down one of the main aisles and I saw an employee coming towards me pushing a cart and I was also pushing a cart. His cart was a little larger, probably for furniture type pieces. I decided to pull over to the left so he could pass. Well this guy walks right passed me looks at me but doesn't even utter the words "thank you" to a customer who made room for him when it really should have been the other way around. That is if Home Goods is striving for decent customer service. Then the register #1 lady calls "next" and as I walk down towards her she's looking at me the whole way. When I get to her we're still looking right at each other and I thought to myself "ok are we going to have a staring contest or something?" So I stare at her until she finally says "how are you today?" It was super weird and forced but I mean really what's wrong with these people. The entire time she's ringing me up she's telling the others behind the register how she wants to take her break and some other stuff in Spanish. Makes spending money at Home Goods a little annoying. P.S. They do have an older African American lady at the register who is consistently nice and welcoming. Let her crack the whip on the others that need Customer Service training! read more

This Homegoods is always disorganized and dirty. I have been there multiple times--each time, the bathrooms are disgusting, there are never any shopping carts (they are always scattered throughout the parking lot and none of the employees ever collect them to bring them to the store), and the products are always scattered all over, even on the floor with no order. They really need to manage this store better--simple organization and cleanliness!!! read more

The store has good potential- it's bigger so they have a wide selection. It's also on the newer side. Unfortunately the customer service was well below their other stores and that says a lot. I'm used to getting the occasional apathetic service, not rude service. The supervisor, I think she's Russian (her name started with a V) had an awful attitude. I bought something at a different Home Goods and returned it same day at this location. She gave me a long speech about how the other store didn't code it right so she wouldn't accept the return. How is that my problem if their store made a mistake? She told me to drive all the other way to the other location- 30 min away by freeway. This is the same exact company ( both Home Goods not TJ Maxx) but she didn't want to bother to help. Instead she wanted to blame the other store. I asked her to call to make things easier and save us a trip but she refused. So much for "easy" returns. On another visit, an employee wore a headache inducing amount of cheap cologne and it stunk up the whole freakin store. I'm usually not too sensitive to fragrances but it gave me a bad headache. I don't want to know what awful smell he was trying to cover up but it made it impossible to shop. When the rude supervisor and cologne drenched employee isn't there, it'll be a 3 stars. The store is a little cramped and employees are hit/miss depending on the day and whether they want to assist the customers. Pasadena store is better and nearby. read more

Came to home goods got a chair that had a price tag of 39.99 and when I went to the register amber rang it up and had a price of 60 I asked they can honor the price since both charisma that were there had the same price she replied rudely and said no "we put that price to draw attention but the real price is in the bottom" I come from a far place just because I liked this store I spend hundreds of dollars here I will no longer be coming here! We found a dog bed that we wanted and it didn't have a price tag (as usual,like most of their stuff). We asked an employee and he said it was 39.99. We went to purchase it and the manager said that it wasn't 39.99 and that it was 59.99. She just decided a price and that was the only dog bed of that kind. The similar one was 39.99 and she refused to give it to us for that price. Very bad customer service. I don't recommend this Home Goods. We ended up not getting the bed. read more

To be fair....maybe 3 1/2 stars. I would give customer service a 4 to 5 stars since the cashier who was ringing me up was really nice. There were a few items without price tags and she went to look up for similar items for me a couple times with a smile....that was the good part of shopping here. The negatives include: 1. Every time I come here (every single time) the isles are always messy, full of stuff on the floor. They need to hire someone to clean up. 2. As mentioned earlier....they have items without price tag, which is extremely annoying. Even if the employee are happy to go look for similar item for you.....Who have time to wait all day. At least have a system where you have a book of common items and prices, offer customer the book price when item comes without tag....or additional employee who cashiers can call to check price for them instead of doing it themselves. 3. Getting too expensive. Even the clearance/on sale items can be very expensive. Unless there is something I'm looking for particularly.....I don't think I will go back just to shop around.... read more

Worst customer service I've ever experienced. We asked an employee to help us get down a rug and they said they would send someone our way. 30 minutes later we asked someone else for help and they just flaked us off and said that wasn't their department. We finally decided to walk out and not but thy $300 rug. On our way out we saw both employees hanging out by the entrance. They clearly forgot about us. I normally enjoy shopping at Hime Goods in Glendale every time I go. However , this time I went to this one in Pasadena. They don't have as much merchandise and the employees were so rude and not interested in Helping you you find things. I didn't find what I needed. When it was time to close, ( 10 minutes till) an employee told me" start walking to the register , we are closing in 10 minutes". I could not believe it! I called the next day to speak with the manager, it turned out it was the same person who also showed no interest in helping me to find a replacement for a damaged pillow I was buying. No wonder the employees act like that. She sets the tone. Her name is Liz. She made excuses for the rude employee a d herself, she said the employees are nervous and worry about being on the road after curfew time fue yo the pandemic. What! she is crazy , there's no curfew anymore in California. This is February and even during the curfew, no one got stopped by the police on the road. No one! It was a curfew on businesses like bars and restaurants. She's so full of it. And I repeat, we are not longer on curfew. She is thinking we are in another country where customers are treated like beggars. That's how she acted when I was at the register a d I noticed then that one pillow was soaked on liquid soap. Monica , the cashier was so nice and went to look for a replacement. She couldn't find another one. But I had seen others. I had a very soar knee so I didn't want yo walk back, I literally couldn't. The manager said" we are closed". She actually told me over the phone something to the effect that I should be grateful they allowed me to take out the cart to the parking lot. She just added insult to injury. Very bad customer service. I will never go back there. The young people at the front act like they don't care about helping the customers. Not even a fake welcoming attitude. The customer is not number one here. So I called the headquarters. I hope there's a follow up on this issue. All of you reading g this, go yo Glendale. Is worth the drive. Better snd more variety and great restaurants for a great meal after shopping. read more

If I could give negative stars I would. I've been searching and searching for a butler style bar cart for FOREVER and I FINALLY found one at this location, woohoo! Grabbed it, took it to the front and then realized it wouldn't fit in my car. No problem, says the cashier, you have 5 days after purchase to come and pick it up. Forward to two days later and guess what, they sold it and there aren't any more like it. read more

I was so pleased to shop at Home Goods in Pasadena CA yesterday. So many shelves full of Eye Candy for me! It was well stocked. Several employees were working and stocking the shelves. This is the second time I've been here in a week. Both times Darlene happened to be the manager. I hope that her manager reads this, because she should be fired. She runs this store so poorly that it's amazing. Last week and this week, there were over 10 people in line trying to check out. Last week, there was only 1 cashier working the line. Today, there were 3. Two of the three were unable to help the line because one of them was helping someone with a problem and the other one was trying to get a price on something that wasn't tagged. The manager was called up she answered 2 phone calls while all of us stood around waiting for help. Because of the two phone calls she knew that no one was getting helped because everyone was standing in line glaring at her. I asked for more cashiers to be opened and she said she didn't have anyone else. Then she turned and left. A good manager would have worked the cash register herself to help the line. I walked in to return something and went straight to the cash register line. I was in the store for 24 minutes. Expecting guests to wait 24 minutes to pay for or return something is unreasonable. Here's a news flash. People like Homegoods. Your store will be busy, staff it accordingly. You aren't new and in a climate where retailers are struggling, don't take our patronage for granted. read more

I went there to check-it-out and I was not disappointed. I have never been to a Homegoods because they were just not in an area I was familiar with. There was so much to see that I only had time to go through about 10 aisles. Picked up a lamp I always wanted, a few cups that were super cute, some decorative items that I could not pass-up. This is dangerous to my budget, so I have to walk in with an enormous amount of will power. Luckily I had my 18 year old son, who was already done getting his work-out gloves at Marshalls, that encouraged me to leave sooner. He was making some other people and I laugh when he asked me, quite seriously, "what can a man say to make a woman stop shopping?"...."I want to know for my future"..... another lady and I snickered when I replied, "no man has come-up with that special word yet and I don't know if one exists"..... I love home goods. They have cute and nice home furnitures. Recently I found a cute desk which I loved and purchased that day. The cashier was great she helped me to bring it to the front. She also called help to take a desk to my car, but the manager of the store (who I don't know the name. She was a Spanish lady) was very very rude. First of all table had scratches and was dirty I asked for discount. she gave 10% off but with bad attitude. Then table didn't fit in my car, but if they did unscrew the legs it would have fit in my car. She didn't even bothered to ask their employee to do so and whole time she had that rude bad attitude. Simply disappointed. Profiling and discrimination @ Homegoods. I had a complaint about an associate in this location Phillip. The fact is I felt discriminated against by this associate. And I have no idea why. I was specifically targeted by this mean spirited employee. I shop at HomeGoods all the time. I loved this store very much. I sometimes simply decompress by browsing for things I don't really need out of pure enjoyment. That is now gone by not only one employee, but what I am assuming is the store managers stamp of approval and company direction. This sort of profiling is egregious in this day and age. This experience was so embarrassing. Humiliating. I felt like I was treated like a criminal or some vagrant that walked in off the street. I was profiled from far away by Phillip by no other than my appearance. And him listening to my conversation with an associate. When I called customer service to get some understanding on this matter and my treatment. They said they would have the store manager call me back. Days later nothing. Emailed to inquire on the status. They said sorry and would have the manager contact me in regards to my incident. Still nothing. I am so angry about my treatment. I have not been able to let it go. In 43 years. No one has ever has made me feel or treated me so terrible to the point of embarrassment and ridicule. Since I can only come to this conclusion. Since my search for a simple answer to why this happened and how Philip can treat and talk to customers like this has gone unanswered. I will never shop at homegoods again. I urge you not to also. I absolutely adore this place. Tons of beautiful home decor and furniture for very reasonable prices. I have come here again and again, but today was the day I felt a strong need to write a review. As usual, I had a large cart full of awesome things and when it was my turn to go to the register I moved my heavy cart towards the cash register (Susan) and it's not exactly easy to maneuver a cart full of 10+ things and the awful cashier impatiently and irritatingly rose her hand as said "uhmmmm I'm available". I see you damn it, I'm looking right at you, there is no need to state what I am already very aware of. To make matters worse she seemed to be very annoyed that I had bought so many items. Bitch this is a store!!!!! I'm supposed to buy things!!!! She then was too lazy to bag the items so I ended up bagging all of them except for one. She acted as if I was burdening her and that I should appreciate her just scanning the items when it is her job. I proceeded to lift all the heavy items on to the cashier counter for her and because she was moving so slow and with such irritation she looked at me and said "umm can you give me a second ya thanks" then gave me a sarcastic smile. She was horrible and I would not go to home goods if I had to encounter her again. She made me feel as if I was doing something bad. Like if I was bothering her by buying my things. There are so many people who are in need of jobs and it is so horrible to know that instead whoever's in charge employees such a rude worker. Someone seriously needs to teach Susan how to interact with people or send her somewhere else she does not belong in retail. read more

Despite the fact that this Home Goods is just next door to Marshall's, it is still one of my most favorite locations. The staff is incredibly helpful and sweet. The selection of merchandise is good.
