Yummy pizza with plenty of drink options (alcoholic/non alcoholic) and outdoor and indoor seating We came here because a person in our group is vegan. She loved the vegan pizza! We also got another pizza that was nonvegan and it was DELICIOUS! It was Chicago style pizza with potatoes and pepperoni. Highly recommend We also tried this yummy spiked root beer drink which was literally out of this world. Ive never had anything like it. It was a perfect spot for me and my 2 friends. I dont recommend this place for large groups (at least not inside) but there are plenty of tables outside. The employees were all super friendly and helpful which was the cherry on top. I would definitely come again

Vegetarian review - after trying a few pizza places in the area we landed here with multiple vegetarian choices. We got the Margherita pizza which had fresh cheese, juicy tomato and even good tasting crust. It might seem weird that I'm talking about the taste of the crust but it's amazing how many places care so little about the crust and don't bother even adding minimal salt for taste. Service was good as well. Definitely going back for more and maybe will try dine in next time.

Wait, the sauce goes on top of a deep dish pizza? Intriguing. I actually didn't know until the lady at Hippizzazz mentioned it over the phone -- like how could I have not already known this valuable information about a pizza. So we had navigated through yelp looking 5 miles in every direction and finally came across Hippizzazz in Sebastopol. This was Super Bowl 2020. Pizza is a MUST and good pizza at that. Never had it and glad we did. The cheese definitely made the cut. Nice thick crust, good enough to eat alone. I love crust and good pizza has to have really good crust. The pizzas had a plentiful amount of mozza on top. We had one just cheese and the other with olives, mushroom, pesto and marinara. We also enjoyed the pesto cheese sticks and veggie nachos. Super Bowl will always be memorable because of what I learned about pizza that day and how satisfying Hippizzazz was. Good game too!

Got the focaccia bread and for entrees I got bolognese and my wife got the pesto spaghetti with the GF rummo noodles. The bread was tasty and a big portion! My wife enjoyed her pesto spaghetti and I enjoyed my bolognese, however, the bolognese was very spicy. I didn't see any mention of chili flakes on the menu and I never send food back unless it's undercooked or the wrong meal. I ate it but boy it was spicy! A quick look at some other reviews showed me others have complained about the spicy bolognese. Bolognese is not normally spicy so it's definitely a bold choice of this restaurant to throw those in without warning. So, BE AWARE of that!! I'm still giving 5 stars because our server was super friendly, the restaurant was clean, comfy, and great location. And our food was tasty! We started with a Cappelletti Spritz (basically an Aperol spritz but not Aperol, and I kind of liked it better), some olives, meatballs, and the burrata toast. All were delicious! For our mains, we had the Bolognese (one with burrata and one without) and the spaghetti with Sunday Red. They made it a point to mention several times that the Bolognese had nutmeg in the sauce (NOT cinnamon as someone else posted. That would be very different.) and made sure it was okay with us. When the Bolognese came out, we discovered that they had red pepper flakes on them. My son doesn't like spicy, so we had them make another one without (took only a few minutes and we brought the other one home). It was delicious and you can definitely taste the nutmeg. We're happy we have another order! Everything was amazing. The portions were plenty. We didn't even have room for dessert and I kind of wanted that olive oil cake! Can't wait to come back.

It's inviting vs the stuffy atmosphere some places have. BABAGANOUSH PITA we got it for the kiddo expecting it to be run of the mill stuff you get. But the babaganoush had the extreme rich flavors of smoked eggplant and felt like almost half an eggplant went in there. Not diluted with tahini, garlic, just pure flavors of eggplant with tanginess of sumac. LITTLE GEM SALAD WITH RAINBOW TROUT was hearty, leafy and very refreshing. The pickled celery was the surprise. HAMACHI CRUDO - beautifully assembled with thoughtfulness, light, refreshing. A bunch of flavor bombs in there so each bite is an adventure. Basil making it refreshing, earthy crunch from hazelnut, sharpness from green onion, sweet tart kiwis. I think a bit of citrus would make this a superstar. Mandolin shaved limes perhaps? GRILLED MAITAKE MUSHROOMS - ok I think this was the chefs most technically impressive dish, with an exercise in playing with bitter profiles and turning it into a master piece. Grilled maitake gets the char from the grill is the first flavor layer, it's woken up by the wild thyme from the zatar. Next the Japanese turnips bring the second dimension with earthy beautiful bitter notes on a bed of a creamy tahini based sauce. It's finished with fresh parsley to bring a fresh element to it. Great stuff. Could raddichio be added to make this more challenging? I saw those crunchy POTATOES and I got them even after eating the meal lol. Do yourself a favor and just get them - they're hot, crunchy and perfect to pair with the vegetables. Finally we got their chocolate mousse with bruleéd bananas sorry couldn't take a picture before it was all gone. Great way to wrap. The staff were all super friendly and helped with picking things from the menu! I got the mystery glass of wine and they had made a fun game out of it. The Beaujolais was great too. Overall when you're surrounded by these amazing farms, vineyards and ocean - no better way than to bring them together - kudos to the creators of the Redwood for making this place with intentionality. On the wall was a chalkboard with the list of local farmers and vendors that they used to supply their restaurant. I loved how fresh and flavorful all the food was, but I loved their collaboration with small local business owners to provide them with things like eggs and dairy. I had an omelette with spinach, caramelized, tomatoes, chicken sausage, and goat cheese. This was one of the most delicious bites I've had at a breakfast spot in a long time. We also shared an order of beignets that came with some fresh apple butter, which was to die for! It felt like taking a bit off fall weather if that makes sense.
