Oct 2023 Got pizza for pickup. There's been a couple of changes over the year. The area inside looks brighter and more open. The pizza came out quick, and we were on our way back. We had gotten the deep dish veggie with beyond sausage and crunchy chow mein noodles added. The pizza was cooked well and the beyond sausage worked well as a substitute. The chow mein noodles though I should've checked. I was thinking that they were clusters broken up from a ramen packet but that was probably the tequila talking. These were those salad noodles that they have occasionally in like chinese chicken salads. Lesson learned, do your research. But, yeah, that was my fault for adding them myself . The pizza was still solid nonetheless despite my attempts to sabotage it. And yes, we did add our own later to try it out for the sake of curiosity and strangely it worked after being toasted. read more

Yummy pizza with plenty of drink options (alcoholic/non alcoholic) and outdoor and indoor seating We came here because a person in our group is vegan. She loved the vegan pizza! We also got another pizza that was nonvegan and it was DELICIOUS! It was Chicago style pizza with potatoes and pepperoni. Highly recommend We also tried this yummy spiked root beer drink which was literally out of this world. Ive never had anything like it. It was a perfect spot for me and my 2 friends. Vegetarian review - after trying a few pizza places in the area we landed here with multiple vegetarian choices. We got the Margherita pizza which had fresh cheese, juicy tomato and even good tasting crust. It might seem weird that I'm talking about the taste of the crust but it's amazing how many places care so little about the crust and don't bother even adding minimal salt for taste. We absolutely prefer their deep dish to their other pizzas. Our least favorite was the Thai pizza, which sounded interesting but wasn't. I wouldn't have even identified it as "Thai" (or even remotely Asian) if I had ten guesses. They had one combo with pepperoni, bacon, pineapple, jalapeño and cilantro that we enjoyed even though we didn't get the deep dish version of that. But be warned about the jalapeño. It's fresh and it packs the heat. Speaking of, their stuffed jalapeño appetizer was basically a couple of jalapeños cut in half and sprinkled with bacon. And they left most the seeds and membrane in place, so it was about as hot as a fresh jalapeño can be. It's not what any of us were expecting. We did eat them, but they may be too hot for many guests. We ordered to go. Our food was ready on time. We would order from them again, but would stick to the deep dish and avoid the jalapeño. read more

Wonderfully cheesy, generously sized fresh pizza. Worth the calories. I add my praise to others who love the pizza here. I ordered a deep dish cheese pizza and added sausage, mushrooms, red onions and jalapenos. I ordered online and it wasn't too difficult. For some reason the total price I was given by the app was different than the price given by the confirmation email, so I called to confirm the total. As others have said, I experienced very friendly and helpful service both on the phone and in person. Parking was easy as the lot isn't usually very full in the evenings. The pizza was ready on time, and while the app didn't say I could pay with my phone, it was easy to pay via Apple Pay when I picked up the pizza. They have the usual packets of red peppers and parmesan cheese, as well as napkins and forks if you're taking it someplace other than home. The pizza was in a nice sturdy box that didn't sag or bleed grease onto the car seat, always a plus when taking a heavy pizza home. The deep dish was nice and thick, with the crunchy outer crust that is the primary reason I get deep dish. I love cheese and there was so much of it, very generous. Tomato sauce had a fresh taste, not canned or overwhelmed with herbs. A good amount of sausage that was very tasty, not the nasty rabbit pellets you get at many chain pizza places. The amount of mushrooms and jalapenos was fine, I could have done with more but it wasn't lacking. I didn't really notice much in the way of onions but it wasn't a big deal. The deep dish has 10 good sized pieces, so as others have said it provides multiple servings, I got 3 meals out of it. The leftovers reheated well, making the crust even more crunchy delicious. I actually didn't know until the lady at Hippizzazz mentioned it over the phone -- like how could I have not already known this valuable information about a pizza. So we had navigated through yelp looking 5 miles in every direction and finally came across Hippizzazz in Sebastopol. This was Super Bowl 2020. Pizza is a MUST and good pizza at that. Never had it and glad we did. The cheese definitely made the cut. Nice thick crust, good enough to eat alone. I love crust and good pizza has to have really good crust. The pizzas had a plentiful amount of mozza on top. We had one just cheese and the other with olives, mushroom, pesto and marinara. We also enjoyed the pesto cheese sticks and veggie nachos. The bistro claims to source locally. Whether this is true or not, the quality of the food features some delightful flavors only Napa Valley produce can give. The flavors are very good and the pizza is distinctly not greasy which is a rather big plus. Ambience 5/5 -I personally feel the place is criminally undertrafficked but the lack of packed crowds and the intimate space gives this bistro a quaint quality not many can offer. Always perfectly made to order. Always fresh and delicious. I usually eat a piece in the car while it's fresh and hot. There are 10 slices to the deep dish. I usually get 4 meals unless I share with my neighbor. They are my absolutely my favorite pizza shop. They have many other choices in addition to the best pizza ever. I want to like this place as many do. Ice eaten here every so often for the last few years. Staff is always friendly. Thin crust is a great texture. But the toppings don't meld in terms of flavor. Sometimes the meat is over-cooked (black) so consistency is an issue. The venue is small so it's challenging if you want to eat in peace and there people being so loud they force everyone to hear their conversation. The place is clean, assuming they've wiped down not only the table but also the seats. Often times there is not right pizza sauce. You can barely tell it's there. Which makes for dry pizza. I finally asked for more and realized the flavor isn't that good for the sauce. It needs salt for sure. But at least it's not greasy. I tend to be sensitive to flavors and textures. The texture is there, it's the flavors that are off here for me. It's functional food but not memorable. read more

Since we live in SR, and find so much food in SR to be really terrible, we've been venturing out to Sebastopol. And Sebastopol is literally foodie heaven. Service: Haven't eaten in, but the to-go process is always friendly and efficient. Cost: A deep dish and a large salad runs about $34 after tax.
