We got there at 4 pm and had the place to ourselves. The interior is fairly generic but the service and food were outstanding. Our server was friendly and professional. We got the salad with shrimp and chicken empanadas .. my friend got something that I can't remember what it was but he really enjoyed it as well.

Was driving from Guerneville back to Sac and this spot popped up on my radar thanks to Yelp. I have to admit that I don't know a ton about Peruvian food but what isn't there to like? Situated in a strip mall, parking is easy but don't let the nondescript exterior fool you inside sits a Peruvian cuisine adventure. I got the crispy jalea sandwich ($16) described as fried calamari tossed in chunio flour, panca powdered topped with salsa criolla, homemade roccotto aioli on a ciabatta bread. I opted for the house fries over the salad because I love me some fries. It was very good, the calamari was tender and not greasy in the slightest. The fries were Kennebec potatoes that melted in your mouth - light, crispy and tasty. My friend got the mixed seafood ceviche ($19) which came with fish, one green lip mussel, scallops, shrimp, calamari, and clams. cancha corn, choclo corn (reminded me of fresh corn nuts LOL) slice of baked yam, and platano macho chip. I tried the fish portion as I hadn't experienced shellfish as ceviche before and was a bit wary, but my friend who loves Peruvian food said it was excellent. Service was friendly and attentive. Prices are a tad bit higher for credit card, like less than 1%. Will totally come back here just for the fries alone.

This place is an absolute gem and we felt lucky to stumble upon it -- it's probably one of my favorite restaurants in the Santa Rosa area now. The variety of dishes, authentic flavors, and friendly vibe made for an incredible experience. It's not fancy or trendy--just homey, delicious, and full of heart. Honestly, I enjoyed it far more than a trendier Peruvian spot we tried in downtown Santa Rosa. We came in for a weekday lunch. Our server, who seemed as if he might also be the owner, was incredibly friendly and took the time to recommend dishes and share details about how they prepare the food and balance the flavors (especially when we asked how the flavors are so amazing). You can tell they care deeply about what they're serving. What we tried: Papa Rellena: Perfectly crisp on the outside with a balanced, delicious filling. Yum! Camarones Al Pisco: Absolutely incredible. Served in a cast iron pan, the sauce was frothy, rich, and bursting with flavor. We wanted to soak up every last bit with bread. A must-order and the highlight of an already star-studded lunch. Ceviche Clasico: Fresh, vibrant, and perfectly executed with amazing flavors and textures. Tacos de Pescado: Delicious and satisfying. Highly recommend. Anticuchos de Corazon: Perfectly grilled, juicy skewers of beef heart. Delectable and another must-get. Empanada Trio: We couldn't decide, so the server suggested a mix of veggie, pork, and chicken. All were fantastic, but the veggie empanada? Surreal. Don't miss these. The vibe: This isn't a fancy spot, and that's part of its charm. It feels authentic, warm, and welcoming, like a neighborhood favorite with spectacular food hiding in plain sight. It's located in an unassuming spot in Sebastopol, and we happened to just try it after a quick Yelp search. And what a fine! This instantly became one of my favorite restaurants in the area. I don't visit the Santa Rosa area often, but when I do, I'll definitely be coming back. Highly, highly recommend.

A Hidden Gem in Sebastopol On a recent weekend day drive past Sebastopol, I was determined to try a new place to eat, so I went to my trusted guide and friend Yelp on my mobile and decided on Inca's Peruvian Cuisine. The place is kind of hidden in a corner of a small shopping center off Gravenstein Highway, very close to where Petaluma Ave and S Main Street end. Anyhow, we walked in, and the place was empty! We were the only ones there! Later, we learned that on Sundays, the crowd shows up at around 5 or 6 PM. Inca's Peruvian Cuisine has been there for about one year. It offers a fusion of Indigenous Incan ingredients with influences from various cultures such as Japanese, Chinese, Spanish, Italian, and African! I know! It sounds like a mishmash of various cuisines, but it is surprisingly very good! We started with a Peruvian beet salad (Causa Santa Rosa), sweet plantains (Platanos Maduros), and Ceviche (Clasico). Loved it all! I enjoyed all three, but if you forced me to pick only one, I'd go with the beet salad! It was tasty and different. For the main dish, we decided to share a Lomo Saltado, which is wok-fried tenderloin beef (chicken is an option) with balsamic soy sauce mixed with red onions, tomatoes, and cilantro. It is served with fries and rice. We enjoyed it very much. Throughout our visit, the staff was extremely helpful and very friendly. We really enjoyed the experience. I could not leave without trying their Tres Leches, and it did not disappoint! As we were leaving, people began to show up. The place is small, but very nicely setup and maintained. The staff is wonderful and the food is delicious. Give it a try if you are around Sebastopol.

This little place in Sebastopol has a few tables inside and a couple outside. It's quite comfortable. The waitperson was very friendly and even turned up the heat when he saw that I was a bit cold. My friend and I decided on the appetizers and split them, but the empanadas were very very good. I also liked the papa rellanas. The papa la Huancaina were okay but I've had better. I would come back because mostly l liked the food and the staff person was great

One of the BEST tres leches cake that I've had.

I was pleasantly surprised at the menu. They have quite a variety of choices and a lot of them are seafood. I had the shrimp salad, which completely enjoyable, and with a nice char on the grilled shrimp. Service was friendly not invasive, a few well timed check ins to make sure everything was to our liking, and to refill the water. It was very quiet in mid afternoon. Very relaxing.

Wonderful authentic restaurant tucked in the rear of a little center behind the Starbucks. The server made us feel very welcome and although it was 3 pm we were able to get the lunch menu. We had an amazing pork sandwich that included sweet potatoes and salsa plus a lovely salad( you could also have French fries instead of salad). Since it was a cold day I had the delicious Chupe de Camnarones a delicious hearty soup which included potatoes, a poached egg and a plentiful amount of fresh shrimp plus garlic bread. Easy bn parking, great service plus reasonable prices make this a hidden gem.

Love love this place!!! Been here two Fridays in a row! Our new favorite spot! Inca's dishes are well prepared, very tasty, flavors are complex, and portions are generous! My favorite is their seafood paella, - the sauce is just simply the best. Food is cooked just right for both seafood and meat. Mango cheesecake is so good ( just the right amount of mango/ not artificial tasting) all 4 of us shared a slice since we were too full. My husband also swears by their fries, best fries in town!!!! Thick and crispy!!! Service is fast and friendly. Ambiance is informal and homey. This will be a good addition to your restaurant rotation. I know it is to ours! Cheers! Also they have non alcoholic cocktail like mixes and beer!

Everything was fresh and tasted good! Can't wait to come back. So patient and knew what GF dishes I could have.

I wish I could give them more stars because I suspect this is a mom/pop operation. There was nothing wrong but nothing great either. Lunch on a slow rainy Monday. Service was good, food was just so-so. I had the lomo saltado - flavorful but meat was tough. Friend had Pan Chicaroon - same opinion - flavorful but tough. Sorry - maybe some other dishes are better.

Came in after doing some wine tasting. It was an early dinner so it wasn't busy. There are so many things I wanted to try but I got the Lomo Saltado. I asked for it with the chicken but I got it with the beef. Not that big of deal, I still enjoyed it. The Balsamic soy sauce ran on to the fries and rice which I loved . My husband got Parihuela and says it was delicious.... so delicious he splattered juice from the crab claw ALL OVER ME .. LOL. The empanadas are a must try on out next trip

We decided to try Peruvian food for the first time since it came highly recommended by yelp and our daughter. They have friendly servers and friendly patrons. I was at a loss deciding what to order and a sweet lady who was dining near us stopped by our table and told us that everything is delicious and the descriptions are accurate about each dish. She shared what she ordered and the names of other dishes they have tried in the past. We started off with the empanada appetizer (1 each of chicken, beef, and pork filling). They were very flavorful and it came with a dollop of yummy green sauce on the platter which paired beautifully with the empanadas. For our main courses, we ordered Ceviche Clasico (fish of the day in a lime sauce), Pan con Chicharron with fries (deep fried pork sandwich), and Sudado de Pescado (fresh fish in a bouillabaisse tomato sauce). The flavors were all interesting and tasty. My pork sandwich and fries were delicious. I am a big fan of fries and these were nicely prepared. It complemented the pork sandwich well. The Ceviche Clasico was beautifully displayed on the plate. It has a very tangy lime taste! Perhaps pair it with a side of rice or something rather than eat it straight as an entree. The fish bouillabaisse had a nice blend of flavors, textures and colors. There are many seafood items and a couple vegan options as well. Our server was sweet and courteous. Located behind Starbuck's and there is plenty of parking shared with other shops and another restaurant.

The fish was fried crispy outside with perfect salt and pepper seasoning. The inside was juicy and fresh. The sauce came with plenty of seafood like scallops and calamari. While I was eating it, I already think of ordering this dish again next time!! The empanadas is yummy. The pastry wasn't doughy which is exactly I like. The green sauce came with it definitely made it even better. The short rib and bean dish was good. I like the seasoning and think it would go well with lamb too. My only Issue was the mayo based dip. It threw me off and couldn't eat them. Saved for the next day to enjoy them. My Peruvian go to is always the Lomo Saltado. And being that my first taste of it was in Portland, Oregon, it set the standard for me. This one was in a whole lot of gravy, which I'm not used to at all. It was good, but felt and tasted like a stew. The picture is me pulling up the meat, onions and tomatoes to the surface. So there was even more liquid than it appears. We also had the Aji de Gallina, which was chicken with rice and there flavorful sauce. It was delicious.

I also was very curious about Peruvian ceviche. Mexican-style ceviche is one of my favorite things and I make it a lot, but had never had Peruvian ceviche. It seemed like the perfect lunch. The restaurant is really beautiful inside, with wood and stone and earthy colors. The place settings are all very nice handcrafted ceramics and the bar was a giant wooden fancy installation. During the day it was very quiet, but with all the hard surfaces, I imagine it was pretty boisterous at night. I told the waitperson that I was interested in ceviche and whether he had recommendations. He pointed me towards the ceviche carretillero (cart ceviche), which he said also had their house ceviche, fried calamari, fried yucca and plaintains and that it would be more substantial for a lunch. I later looked up "ceviche carretillero" and found out that in Peru, a street food was ceviche topped with crunch fried calamari and that it was very popular and served out of carts! The preparation was lovely, with a pile of their fish of the day, which was a type of cod, in the middle with shredded onions on top. surrounding it was fried calamari, sweet potato, yucca, and extremely thin and beautifully fried plaintain strips. He offered to pour the small pitcher of Sangre de tigre on top and I agreed. Sangre de tigre is the marinade used to "cook" the fish. It is different than Mexican ceviche!! While not spicy with chiles, it was spicy with ginger and I don't know what else. It hits your throat, not your palate, which I thought was so interesting. I would not say it was "hot spicy", but I did cough a bit when I swallowed! It was very good! The fish was cut into fairly big rough pieces so you could really taste it. The calamari was excellent, as were the yucca and plaintain. I used the plaintain like I would fried tortillas in a Mexican ceviche, and using it almost like a spoon. I don't know if that was proper or not, but it worked for me! The Yucca would have been perfect with some mojo sauce, but that's a Cuban thing. I wonder if their is a comparable Peruvian sauce? The portion was generous and perfect for someone who came to lunch hungry. I really enjoyed my little middle of the day splurge lunch!
