We got the Brussels sprouts and fries as apps. Fantastic! Then split a deep dish meat small plate! Very good. Crust was hard to cut through though. The hostess Shannon was so rude. She asked my daughter straight away if she was 21 and she clearly doesn't have proper etiquette. I asked her for the server Bethany and she said no. Our server and staff were all lovely and attentive. Unfortunately the food was mediocre at best. The steamed shrimp with the bourbon bbq was delicious but having to take the shells off with all the sauce on it was a challenge. The kids Frito Mac n cheese was Mac n cheese with three Fritos sitting on top. The mezze platter tasted and looked like it came from a jar and the salmon and corn were inedible. What a hidden gem! My first time at a distillery and the cocktails were bomb! I got a Moscow Mule. Food was also pretty amazing. Loved the goat cheese with beet chip salad. The burger was perfect - meat was really juicy in a fresh brioche bun. The crab spaghetti was so creamy and flavorful, so I'm glad my table shared. We went on Friday night with the live performance and it was great. The guy played acoustic oldies and new songs, great renditions and variety. My friends and I went out last evening. Sadly I was disappointed. The waitress was very kind at first. As the night went on she seemed annoyed. I'm not sure if she was tired or something upset her. We had some food and drinks and she brought the bill without it asking if we wanted anything else. I felt that she wanted us out so we payed it. We tipped generously. Well we wanted one more glass of wine and when we asked an employee they also seemed annoyed we asked and rolled there eyes. They got our waitress and she did bring it to us but again I felt unwanted and just wanted to leave. I'm not sure I will come back. Ordered chicken strips with their house fries. They sent strips that were dry, rubbery and non seasoned! I've bought Great Value brand strips that taste better than that nasty chicken. They also forgot to send salude for them. They sent me disgusting oily tots instead of the fries. At first I thought they probably ran out of fries. But my work partner ordered fries as well and sure enough, she gets hers and said they were good. This was the first time I ordered from this place on recommendation of a friend. I saw in another review where the drinks weren't strong enough - I must tell you, if you can absolutely taste the alcohol; the drink isn't made well. My drinks were delicious and they surely had a lots of punch in them. The bartender even custom made a drink for me with vodka because I'm not a gin fan. It was breathtaking! The care taken with every part of our meal, from the gorgeous appetizer to the stunning drinks... just brilliant. The food was perfection on a plate. The servers were friendly and kind. When we were seated the server immediately asked if we had anything planned so that they could time our meal for us. We stopped in for dinner Sunday night with our two young boys. Reservation were for 5:30, but it was not too busy yet. We got a table outside and enjoyed the beautiful weather. We ordered drinks, my husband had a Manhattan and I had a Sweet Emotion. I tend to usually go for sweeter, fruitier drinks, but both of ours were very good. We started off with an order of the deep fried brussel sprouts sprinkled with shredded parmesan cheese. They were a little bit greasy in my opinion, but they tasted great. For the main course I ordered the California style turkey burger, which was really cheesy and good. This was our first trip based upon reviews I have read. The food was very good and was not too much to eat. We can recommend the Brochette flatbread and tomato soup for starters. Excited to visit Hidden Still last evening. Service was prompt, server was great. Excellent Bourbon and well crafted cocktails. . Great vibe all around as we were seated near the bustling bar. Then, we received our meals. Husband's Roasted Chicken and Leek Pie was a puff pastry floating on a soupy gravy with small shredded pieces of chicken (roasted?) and few vegetables. Handful at best of English Peas. No roasted corn, potatoes or leeks to be seen. Maybe potatoes liquified into the gravy. Presentation not like pictures. Certainly no chunks of anything. My Meatloaf Stack was tasty, a bit dry and wiped up all of the yummy whiskey sauce to enhance meat and potatoes. Lastly, neither of our meals were served hot, just warm. Finally got to Hidden Stills last night while in town visiting my mom. I love most things alcohol which included my cocktails last night. Started out with the Sazerac, strong with a lot of whiskey, but oh so tasty and then got the Cucumber Gimlet which was refreshing and would be even better on a hot day. We both shared the Brussel Sprouts, Mac and Cheese and the Cheesecake Crepe. Food did not disappoint and I probably could have had another two orders of those Brussel sprouts.
